Renovated apartment in May 2017 The island is reached by ferry from Iseo every 40 "and from Sulzano every 15". The accommodation is located in the center of the small village of Peschiera Maraglio 100 meters from the pier, nearby pharmacy, minimarket, newsagent, bakery, restaurants and pizzeria; 100 meters from public beach and bus stop for transfers to other parts of the island.
Peschiera Maraglio is an old fishermen's village, the long characteristic lake where you can have your aperitif on the lakeshore.
The island (the largest of the European lakes), chosen among the most beautiful villages in Italy, is located in the center of Lake Iseo surrounded by lovely mountains reflected in the water. On the top there is the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Ceriola from which it is possible to appreciate the beauty of the landscape, nearby the Martinengo Castle dating back to the sixteenth century and it is possible to organize with private ferries the tour of the island and the islets of S. Paul and Loreto. Particularly recommended are walks on the numerous trails in the area to be done on foot or by bicycle. You can easily reach: Franciacorta with its cellars and tasting of fine wines, the archaeological sites of prehistoric times in the Camonica Valley, the Natural Park of the Sebino Torbiere, the ski slopes of Tonale and Monte Campione.
