My husband and I wanted to visit my husband's parents home town. This housr was perfect for all 9 of us to make memories!! It is a beautiful home that had everything we needed! The pool was special for our grandsons to enjoy!! Our son enjoyed biking all around Torreria! Thank you for a great time!! Something we will all remember!

Excellent experience

Easy self check-in/out. The house comes with everything you could think of needing, and more! The house managers are very helpful and quick to respond/help. Short drive from beaches on the Atlantic ocean. Can drive to the tip of the peninsula and board the ferry to Aveiro, or drive around the lagoon to Aveiro (depending on ferry timing, can be faster to just drive there). Boat rides available. If you go to Aveiro, try and get a dinner at O Beirro restaurant! Great food and divine desserts! An hour drive from Porto. And yes, you want to have a car.

We really enjoyed our stay here at the Villa at Torreira! The home is amazing and has 4 full bedrooms. It is so comfy cozy ...... not only do you have the living room off of the kitchen and two bedrooms downstairs, but you have a whole other living room upstairs with the other two bedrooms. The Hosts were fabulous and so welcoming! We walked in and the TV was going and they left us wine and cheese and pastries and water in the kitchen. Also there was plenty of dish towels and paper towels and everything you could need. The pool was heated and had a nice cover to it, that was easily removed. We did not have a car, but we realized that we could walk into town and then walk around to Restaurants etc. And there is a Taxi Service that is amazing.It is easier if you contact the Taxi Service through the App.The beds were so comfortable. It is an amazing place!

Very comfortable villa in a superb location

This is a very well equipped villa in a lovely location overlooking the lagoon. The village of Torreira a few minutes away is a gem. A pretty little town with old buildings lining the pedestrianised main street at one end and a harbour with brightly painted traditional fishing boats at the other end. The villa has a good heated pool and two comfortable lounges, one of which overlooks the lagoon. The garden is secluded and a nice place to relax. The nearby road is only really noisy on Sundays when the motor-bike brigade go crazy for a few hours! Aveiro is a longish 45 minute drive by road but there is a frequent ferry from Sao Jacquinto ten minutes away that goes directly to Aveiro. We may well visit this area again and hope that the villa is stilll available nexy year!

Charming and comfortable B&B in great position by and unspoilt fishing village, Authentic Portugal!

We have stayed here before and loved it. It has a perfect position on the lagoon by the fishing village of Torreira. The upstairs living room has a panoramic view of the lagoon where the fishing boats come and go.The villa is comfortable and well-equipped and is just a short way from the other end of town on the Atlantic facing beach. Here is a really pretty little traditional Portuguese town with excellent restaurants and an almost beautiful, unspoilt, white sand beach where you can walk for miles and often see no-one.This is the perfect place to enjoy unspoilt Portugal.The hosts Telmo and Teresa are charming and very kind. There was a major power cut across Spain and North Portugal when we arrived and Teresa and Telmo drove all the way from Porto to check that we were OK. As it happened the power had just been restored in the area but it was nice to actually meet our hosts for the first time!Highly recommended as a peaceful place to stay but with many interesting places within reach

Fabulous place!

This villa was perfect for our needs. Two families of 8 people with teenage and adult daughters of 15, 15, 17 and 19 years. An amazing pool to cool down in that is a reasonable size for games, yet heated at the right temperature for the cooler, cloudier mornings. We hope the next group enjoy the inflatables we left as much as we did! The 3 bikes were handy for quicker trips to the supermarkets taking a left from the villa's main road and to see the flamingos taking a right on the main road. Lots of bars and restaurants located in a near enough walk as we did not use a car for the week. We enjoyed the live music in the main square on the Saturday night as well as in the beach bar. Taxi's from the airport were easy to organise prior to our departure and we would also recommend a few nights in Porto for a city experience. The villa was well equipped with different spaces. We cooked in the villa most days. We would highly recommend this villa for those looking for a very Portuguese experience in a relaxing, yet accessible environment.

Séjour agréable dans une maison en parfait état avec vue splendide sur la lagune au 1er étage .Propriétaires adorables et disponibles .2 chambres parentales avec douches et toilettes .Vélos à disposition.Chemin sans voiture jusqu'à la plage en 15mn.Petit centre ville en bord de mer agréable avec de bons restaurants, une très bonne patisserie et des magasins de souvenirs .Rien a redire .

Eine erholsame Urlaubsoase

Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt. Self-checkin wunderbar, ein kulinarisches Willkommensgeschenk - sehr liebenswürdig. Alles war bestens vorbereitet obwohl wir mit großer Verspätung angekommen sind. Der Pool hatte teilweise bis zu 30 Grad und zu einem unendlich langen Sandstrand gelangt man nach einem Spaziergang von 15 Minuten. Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Gastgeber, Reaktion bei Fragen innerhalb einer Stunde. Check out war ebenso unproblematisch. Für die Fahrt von und zum Flughafen Porto sollte man zur Sicherheit 90 Minuten einplanen. Staus in und um Porto sind keine Seltenheit. Einkäufe kann man bequem auch im neu erbauten LIDL in Ovar oder kleineren lokalen Geschäften erledigen. Kurzum, es war ein Vergnügen, wir haben uns bestens erholt, gerne wieder und nochmals herzlichen Dank an Teresa und Telmo!

Everything you need!

This adorable vacation home is all you need for a quiet, remote beach vacation. With two living room spaces and four bedrooms, two families or one large family could stay comfortably. All up to date bathrooms and comfortable heating and cooling. The pool and patio is spacious and private. We have never stayed in a more equipped kitchen than this one! Quick drive to a fabulous beach and dunes, plus paths along the road to walk or ride bikes.

Cozy and comfortable. Great home base. Could use some updating but overall a nice place to stay. I would stay there again. Telmo was easily available and responded to help us when the TV was a mystery for us!

Maison super bien pensée pour d’excellentes vacances tout y est de la piscine au vélos en passant par la chaîne HI FI et ses CD quant au ménager rien ne manque . L’accueil est , on ne peu plus chaleureux, les propriétaires à votre écoute dans la plus grande discrétion À conseiller absolument si vous voulez rester dans les environs de PORTO ...

Wie gehofft - perfekter Urlaub

Die Buchung, das Ein- und auschecken war perfekt. Wir waren ein wenig später wie geplant, um 20:30 angekommen. Es hat uns ein Begrüssungspaket mit dem Wichtigsten erwartet: Brötchen, Obst, Käse, Wurst und Wein. Das Pool war auf 27 Grad aufgewärmt! ... es gibt nichts besseres um ein Urlaub zu beginnen. Das Haus liegt zwar direkt an einer Durchgangsstraße, der Verkehr hält sich aber in Grenzen. Nachts ist es sehr ruhig. Kleine Strand gleich Gegenüber und der große Atlantikstrand ca. 20 Minuten zu Fuß . Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr Genossen und können das Haus nur empfehlen.

Adalbert and family were wonderful guests. They were very friendly and respectful of house rules. They left our house clean and tidy - would not hesitate in recommending them to other hosts
