Fantastic place ! Was just what I needed. I loved sitting on the back steps with a cup of tea and just gazzing down the valley. Steve and Debbie our hosts are english but have lived and worked in france for decades having also built the site up from what it once was. They live on site but I bearly saw them. Only one of the ?3 gites has its own small pool. The other 2 have the amazing view down the valley. There is a bigger 6x2metre pool for communal use that is around 165cm deep in places. My 5 teenagers were happy to see that. We were probably the only users of the pool for our week. Everything you need is there, its just a really nice place and space. Its rustic but basic and somehow modern at the same time. Its quite off the beaten track though ! Nearest main country road is several hundred metres away. There is usually one of the owners around if you have any problems, which was very reasuring for me as a single parent visiting with teenagers. The owners have also produced their own guides for the area in English and French. Which was really useful. A fantastic place to relax and use as a base to explore the region. My thanks to our hosts for a wonderful stay, my appologies for any noise at 3.30am on our departure for our 8am ferry. You guys were awesome.
