As you enter the cottage from the high street, the layout of the ground floor feels cosy with the lounge and its low ceiling, exposed wood beams and stone flag floor, a superior double sofa bed (so so comfy!) compact dining space, feature fireplace and Smart TV, and some unique decorative pieces, there’s also a handy storage area to pop coats and walking boots etc.

Following on into a modern light kitchen with integrated appliances and stone flagged flooring.
A separate small Washer/clothes airing room

Tea, Coffee and essentials provided.
A complimentary luxury welcome pack

Also situated on the ground level is the Shower room, tiled floor to ceiling with heated towel rail, mirrored unit and magnifying mirror, fluffy white towels and bathrobes for use during your stay.

A few steps lead to the first floor and the bedroom which has a super comfy Kingsize bed (converts to twin beds) a conveniently placed window seat, to sit and read or watch the world go by. A surprisingly high ceiling complimented by exposed beams and Contemporary lighting.

Oh so snug

Bijou but beautiful!

Small cottage beautifully decorated in the heart of Whalley. Cosy lounge area. Small but perfectly functional kitchen & down stairs bathroom. Bedroom was large & bed really comfortable.. important for me because I am a truly terrible sleeper!

A lovely short break in a beautifully furnished little cottage.

This lovely little cottage is situated at the end of King Street close to all amenities. There is plenty to do in the evening and lovely walks in the surrounding Ribble Valley. A must visit is the remains of Whalley Abbey, the grounds of which are beautifully maintained. Our host could not have been more helpful. There was a well stocked fridge for breakfast things and fresh eggs. We will definitely return if ever we need to use private accommodation in Whalley in the future.

This bijou cottage is perfect in every way. Ideally situated on the main street with a whole variety of excellent restaurants and pubs. There are lots of walks straight from the front door, stunning scenery everywhere. We shall be returning.

Delightful location in the center of Whalley. Terrific for local fishing, walks, hikes, runs, bike rides, or just enjoying the surroundings and local pubs and restaurants. Trisha is as gracious a host as they come and truly thinks of everything. A generous welcome package was waiting for me in the fridge such that all of the immediate basic provisions were provided for; not sure if this is typical but it was certainly very thoughtful and much appreciated. Snug in Whalley

Trisha was the perfect host - in touch regularly and keen we had a good time. The house is small but has just about everything you need and a few things you didn’t know you needed. Plenty of shops and restaurants near by. A great place to stay.

Beautiful snug cottage in a lovely village

The cottage was so cute and decorated to very high standards, gorgeous wallpaper, dressings, and lots of lovely features . The patio area was bright with all the flowers and plants unfortunately the weather wasn’t too bright so we didn’t get a chance to enjoy it. The village was lovely with lots of cafes, restaurants and bars , most dog friendly . Thank you Trisha for your recommendations and the welcome goodies , would definitely stay again

Really was “oh so snug”
