Experience a genuine ski lodge feel in this ski-in chalet log cabin located on one of the largest properties in Sun Peaks village, just steps from the main chairlift area and vibrancy of 'Canada's second largest Alpine Village', this main floor entry home exudes special warmth and character unique to log construction. You will be drawn into the bright, open living area featuring hardwood floors, vaulted ceiling, large kitchen and eatery bar, floor-to-ceiling cozy, river rock gas fireplace and soaring windows where you can soak in beautiful mountain views.
You will enjoy the 3 levels with 3 bedrooms and loft; on the lower floor common bunk area and a two piece bathroom, perfect for sleeping up to 6 children.
The multiple sundecks and expansive veranda provide a true tranquil setting for family and guests. After a day of skiing, mountain biking, golfing or hiking, relax in the private outdoor hot tub, nestled in the trees with a view to the stars.

Our cabin is in a residential area with full time home owners in the area that must be respected, our cabin is designed to attract families with children
The lodge features a seven person hot tub, 2 1/2 bathrooms, full kitchen with jenn-air stove, laundry facilities, linen and towels, gas fireplace, high speed internet, blue ray player, stereo.
This chalet is for mature groups and families only; this is not a party house
• Full Bathroom on the upper floor with two queen sized beds (two bedrooms)

Great weekend getaway

Lovely home, great amenities, well supplied kitchen. We enjoyed the hot tub and the deck, and the large dining table was perfect for meals and games. The main road to Sun Peaks is nearby, so traffic noise was fairly regular.

Perfect for a family golf get away! Check in was flawless, kitchen very well equipped, WiFi perfect. 6 of us were able to spread out for individual time and come together in the great room for together time. Outdoor deck was very nice and kids enjoyed the hot tub and walking to the village for treats and to the gym. Nicely appointed. We’ll stay here for sure the next time we come up to Sun Peaks.

Beautiful ski in ski out home! So easy to walk up the road and ski into the park, and ski home from the runs off the sunburst lift too! Loved the hot tub and open living area and fire place and family table. All the amenities! Highly recommend the stay to everyone!

Lovely Cabin for A Grown Up Family

A quick walk (10 minutes) up to the top of the street in the morning for the glide down to Sunburst chair. Nice ski-in four houses up from the cabin.Scott is a wonderful host who's super helpful and responsive!

An excellent, comfortable stay with plenty of room for two families including two teenagers. A short 12 min walk to the village, with a well equipped kitchen, large deck and bbq for easy breakfast and dinner options. Would definitely stay again!

Cabin getaway

Lovely rustic cabin feel with lots of room to accommodate everyone. Wrap around deck is wonderful to relax on after a day on the hill before hitting the hot tub. Main room sofas could use updating and upper bedrooms would benefit from screens on the balcony doors but overall great place to stay!

Family Vacation Christmas 2021

The cabin was perfect for our pre Christmas family vacation. Lots of room for our three teens. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything needed to cook. A short walk up the hill, 7 minutes, and your at the loft. Hot tub was beautiful set amongst the trees.

We had such an amazing visit for Christmas 2022 at sunpeaks. This home was perfect for our first Christmas away from home. So cozy. Incredible well equipped. Fantastic location. We loved everything about the home and its location. The communication with the owner, from our initial reservation, all our questions leading up to the trip, and throughout our stay was fantastic. Absolutely recommend.

Log cabin in the woods

This is a lovely log cabin which offers lots of space for guests to spread out in. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The mud /ski room makes getting in and out of gear easy albeit it could use a few more spots for skis. The rooms are all a nice size and the tv room is a great space and doesn’t impact the other lounge area (no noise). The property is about 1km walk from the village which was a nice stroll and not i convenient. The ski in was easy and ended about 50m from the property whilst the walk to put skis on is about 350m slightly uphill. The walk was simple enough. All in all we really enjoyed the property and found it great value. We note previous reviews mentioned the tenant and I would say the current tenant is great! He helped when we got a car stuck after snow fall (driver error - not me) and if you didn’t see his car you wouldn’t have known he was there. The owner was great really communicated well and when their was an issue with the spa had it fixed quickly.

We loved our stay at this lovely cabin! We came for a family get together and it was the perfect spot to hang out and share meals together. The hosts were really lovely and went out of their way to take care of a wasp nest that was near the entrance. We currently live down on the coast of British Columbia in the South Surrey area. We had been looking for vacation property for years, which would give our family a chance to create special memories and experiences. We looked in all the areas of this beautiful province, and our hearts and emotions always pulled us back to this area. Here we have a full four season area where we can enjoy outdoor activities all year round. We have the intimacy of the village with Kamloops and all of its services a short easy drive. The idea of a log home has always excited our family, but we needed to find one that was bright, open, and made you feel welcome. This home lets you relax instantly, and can be enjoyed comfortably with all sizes of friends and families.

Why they chose this property

Location, our goal was to find a property 3-4 hours from Vancouver that was active and vibrant all year round with infrastructure in place that would allow us to enjoy the area. Really as beautiful as British Columbia is, we kept coming back to this area.
When we found this property for sale, we found that it gave us the immediate feeling of a place where family gatherings would be special. Close to the village, and ski lift, yet still private. The house is bright and open with a lot of natural light. The decks are great for sitting around listening to some tunes, reading a book, and for just relaxing. The summer activities on the mountain were important for us as we did not want a one season (winter) property. The golf course up top (highest elevation in BC) biking, hiking, fishing in the area ensured us that it was a place we could enjoy all year round.
