The ruins found on the nearest beach of the submerged city Sipar which according to historical data was submerged by a great high tide. In Katoro, the mosaic floors and walls of the submerged city are visible. The legendary tradition is still alive, according to which the castle of Sipar was founded by the Byzantines, and later the pirates were established there, but in the present ruins the hidden treasure is preserved.
