The most romantic of AD Alberto Dorner villas. A generous one bedroom with two amazing terraces: one with a full view of the volcano Teide off the bedroom and one with stunning expanding views of the volcanic coast and the ocean. Perfect for a couple.

If you are looking for spectacular sunsets in the ocean, stunning views of coast and Atlantic in an elegant home in a hillside villa, you have found your place: the "Junior" apartment in one of our AD Alberto Dorner villas.

Discover the island, explore its nature and culture and come back to an elegant, well-designed home. After exploring the island, relax on your deckchairs with a glass of champagne and have a massage on your terrace. Enjoy a romantic dinner under the stars or, better yet, have our local cook (a housewife from town) teach you the secrets of local cuisine in your own kitchen.
Nested on a hillside between the base of the volcano and the ocean your apartment and terrace offers one of the most stunning view of the whole island: the green north coast with its spectacular sunsets and the massive volcano Teide, to the other side.
The apartment is a separate part of the villa in the very private neighbourhood. Beach and town are only a 3-min drive away. The kids are going to love the small local beach with black sand and a couple small Spanish restaurants right on the ocean and everybody loves the colonial town with its cafés and restaurants. It is a perfect home base to explore the island.

Already included: free Wifi, concierge service, final cleaning, beach/pool & bathroom towels, bathroom amenities, linen, safety box, toilet paper, garbage bags, dishwasher and washing machine tabs, spices in the kitchen. No TV (unless requested for long stays)

The villas are located in a quiet, residential neighborhood, a 3 minutes drive from the beach with its restaurants and three minutes up the mountain into town. It is perfectly located for exploring the island and for hiking.

Icod de los Vinos sits right in the center of the emerald coast, known for its wines and colonial architecture. It lays just under the national park with plenty of hiking opportunities. Its beach, with its small restaurants and the coastal residential areas are called San Marcos and this is where Alberto Dorner is located.

Nearby: beach and restaurants, shopping, groceries, golf, tennis, hiking, yachting, colonial town center with cafes, medical facilities, pharmacy.

The south airport is about 1 hour drive away, and the north airport is about a 45 minutes

very nice, warmly recommend this house

very friendly and helpful staff (Ms. Borges, Mr. Hernandez, Mr. Gonzales) determined to do anything for their customers (e.g. we arrived at 23.00 and it was no problem). The Junior Apartment is very clean, well furnished and has everything you need to feel like home. We received a welcome basket with all sorts of goodies. There is also a garage so that your car is safe, just please rent a small one. The view from the Junior Apartment is amazing - Teide on the bedroom window (and the morning sun directly in the bed) and Ocean View from the living room and kitchen. Beautiful sunset.

Die Lage der Wohnung und die Wohnung an sich war wie im Inserat beschrieben. Für uns ein Traum. Handtücher wurden gewechselt nach 4 Tagen, Wohnung einmal gereinigt während des Aufenthaltes. Top Service. Tolle Anlage an sich, schön ruhig gelegen. Ideal um Insel zu erkunden und abends runter zukommen. Auto schon erforderlich, da in Umgebung keine Geschäfte oder Einkehr. Sonnenuntergang übers Meer beim Kochen ein Träumchen

An absolute gem in beautiful north

My friend and I stayed in the Junior apartment 3-13 march 2017 and it was perfect. The location is breathtaking with Teide on one side and the ocean on the other. In between are banana plantations, flowers and cactuses which all make up quite a scenery. The place was clean, bright and spacious and have everything you need and the some. The host could'nt have been nicer and more helpful. Renting a car is a good idea, however it is quite possible to get along without one - bus lines are good, taxis cheap and walking is beatiful and good exercise. I highly recommend it to families, couples and everyone in between :-)

Sehr schöne, ruhige Ferienanlage

Unsere Wohnung (Junior Suite) war sehr gut ausgestattet, sauber, hell und modern gestaltet. Wir können diesen Vermieter bzw. diese Anlage gerne weiterempfehlen. Zu, Empfang gab es frisches Obst und sogar eine Flasche Wein. Im Ort oder auch unten am Strand gibt es sehr gute und günstige Restaurants. Kleine Wermutstopfen: Enge Garageneinfahrt und Restaurants sind zu Fuß nur auf teilweise unbeleuchteter Strasse zu erreichen.

Sie haben vollkommen Recht, dass ein Mietwagen auf der Insel wirklich sinnvoll ist. Unsere Villen liegen in einem ruhigen Villenviertel, je 3 Autominuten vom Ort und vom Strand entfernt, aber (vor allem im Dunkeln) zu weit, um zu Fuss zu gehen. Wir haben uns bewusst für etwas Abgeschiedenheit entschieden, um so mehr Ruhe zu haben. Beste Grüsse aus Teneriffa, Kay Gonzalez

einfach nur super

Die Bilder entsprechen der Realität. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Es fehlte an nichts. Durch die regelmäßige Anwesenheit der Eigentümer oder des "Hausmeisters" bekam der Aufenthalt auch eine persönliche Note. Rundum zufrieden.

Super Haus, top Service, gerne wieder. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen!

Super Lage, sehr saubere Zimmer, schöne Einrichtung. Morgens auf dem Balkon im Sonnenaufgang gefrühstückt und abends die letzten Sonnenstrahlen bei einem Glas Wein und Meerblick ausklingen lassen. Uns hat es sehr gefallen, sollten wir Teneriffa nochmals besuchen, werden wir mit Sicherheit wieder kommen. Klare Empfehlung!

Supertolles, sauberes und gemütliches Apartment! Die Aussicht ist traumhaft schön und die Gegend bzw. Ortschaft ist ruhig und wundervoll. Die Vermieter sind supernett und helfen bei jeder Angelegenheit. Das Apartment ist sehr empfehlenswert!

Empfang und Betreuung durch die Vermieter ( Vater und Sohn ) war hervorragend.

Die Wohnung ist bestens ausgestattet. Gegen den ersten Hunger nach der anstrengenden Anreise fanden wir alles vor. Vor dem Haus das Meer und dahinter der Vulkan, zentrale Lage zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten Nordteneriffas, was will man mehr ? Herzlichen Dank, G. und W. L.

Clean, modern, everything works and nice views

Situation - about 20 mins walk down the road to San Marcos beach which has a couple of nice restaurants, a couple of bars, a pharmacy and a supermarket. Alternatively it is a 3 minute zip down the road in the car. San Marcos is small with black sand beach but is very pleasant and chilled when we were there although it probably gets busier in season and at the weekends when locals will go. The flat is awkward to find first time and the details need improving from the management. I would suggest coming off the T5 for the Playa San Marcos and the the turning is the second right. Another area of improvement is information available in the flat, there wasn't much. Icod probably has more to offer than we found ( all we did was the area around the Drago Tree) . Garachio is a real gem and well worth a visit or two to stroll around and try out some of the good looking restaurants. Also worth a drive along to Ponto Teno as long as you don't mind the sheer drops. The weather on the Icod side of the island (in March) is cloudier than elsewhere so a trip to Los Gigantes is worth it chase down the sun (1 hour 10 mins with hair pins non-stop). One amazing outing is the Cueva del Viento, the lava tube which needs booking online first to assure a place. Lovely views from the apartment of both Mount Teide and the sea. Elena and Carlos do a great job in organising and welcoming. I would definitely go back if the weather can be improved!

We have had a wonderful winter, with sun and blue skies, but in February and part of March the weather turned on the whole island, including our area. There are few weeks of cloudy weather and it is extremely seldom that we have more than two consecutive days of rain. It is unfortunate that we had a streak of poor weather during your stay (poor for Canary Island standards that is). Our property is located in a residential area but still close to both the beach and the historic center of Icod, as you pointed out. We include detailed directions and a google map in our confirmation email, but we will certainly try to improve the description of how to find us. Thank you for your suggestion. I am sad to read that you didn't find enough suggestions of what to do, because this is precisely something we are normally praised for. We offer a complimentary concierge service to our guests that offers suggestions and assists our guests in making reservations for excursions or restaurants. Your comment tells us that we have to improve our communication to make it clearer that we strive to serve our guests in all possible ways, being available 24/7, helping with suggestions and reservations, assisting in case our guests need anything on or off our property. Ruhiges Wohnen im Norden der Insel

Sehr gut ausgestattete Wohnung in kleinem Wohngebiet, sehr engagierter Vermieter. So wurden wir, als im Nachbarhaus Handwerker waren und es tagsüber mal laut war, zu einer Unternehmung (Delfinbeobachtungstour) eingeladen.

Vielen Dank für Ihren Kommentar. Wir wissen, dass Ruhe und Erholung sehr wichtig für unser Gäste sind und wir bemühen uns natürlich, dass unsere Gäste auch genau das bei uns finden. In Ihrem Falle hat sich ein Nachbar leider kurzfristig und ohne vorherige Warnung dazu entschieden, seine Villa umzubauen. Wir können ihm natürlich nicht verbieten, Bauarbeiten an seinem Haus vorzunehmen, aber wir bemühen uns dafür natürlich umso mehr um unsere Gäste. Wir haben jetzt ein Abkommen mit all unseren Nachbarn, dass wir uns gegenseitig frühzeitig über mögliche Bauarbeiten informieren. Wunderschöner Blick von der Terrasse auf die Bucht von San Marcos

Nachdem uns Herr Hernandez überaus freundlich in Empfang genommen hat, wurden wir sehr ausführlich über alles Wissenswerte zum Aufenthalt in der Wohnung informiert, sodass man sich schnell wohlfühlte. Das Interieur ist geschmackvoll ausgesucht und die Terrassen sehr großzügig gebaut. Nicht nur die Wohnung ist erstklassig, sondern auch die Insel mit Ihrer Vielfalt hat uns begeistert. Wir kommen wieder!
