Kahaluʻu Beach Park is directly across the street and is known for snorkeling, marine life, and surfing. Board rentals are available nearby, a surf school operates next door, and snorkel gear can be rented at the beach.

Shops, restaurants, grocery stores, and other conveniences are less than a mile away. Keauhou Bay is less than 2 miles away and is a popular departure point for ocean activities, including nighttime manta ray experiences. Kona Country Club is also less than a mile away.
