We stayed in the Stable Cottage. Absolutely lovely. Definitely recommend.
Very welcoming and the owners so helpful. Lovely and peaceful. Cottage well equipped with high quality fixtures and fittings. Situated near the top of the hill, beautiful views and plenty of walks around yet near to the main town also. We were looked after well and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Will definitely return. Thank you to Jenny for being so helpful, and her Mum and Dad too!

The property is in a beautiful location with views if castle hill and the surrounding pennines .
Everything was in perfect order and very modern barn conversion that has a perfect layout
The hosts were friendly and accommodating
Would highly recommend
Lovely stay close to Castle Hill overlooking Huddersfield over the Christmas period. Spacious and welcoming cottage with a well-equipped kitchen. Jennie the owner put out Christmas decorations for us and had a tap fixed immediately that was found to be leaking. Highly recommended. Enjoy the views!
Easy to rent, Jennie was very accommodating when we asked for dates outside her normal parameters. The cottage was a good size with good quality furnishings and in a beautiful location. Peaceful but very central to visit places of interest. Only tiny negative was shower was low if you are tall but we made Jennie aware and she said she would look into changing it. Would highly recommend and would love to revisit in the future. Thanks.
We needed some where at late short notice near to family in Huddersfield and all on one level.
Wonderful property. Very spacious and clean. Everything you needed. Booked within 48 hours of needing it. Owners where very helpful but not intrusive. Throughly enjoyed our stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our week’s stay at this cottage. It was exceptionally well looked after and beautifully kept. Lovely and clean; lovely walks just on your doorstep too. I have no hesitation in awarding it 5*. Great place to stop if, as we were, visiting Cannon Hall Farm.
Just come back from a stay here - brilliant location and the Cottages are laid out really well. Lots of room and really well equipped. Went out for a few walks and lots of great little pubs in the area.

Beautiful clean cottage in lovely surroundings and friendly owners
We are a family of 2 adults with 2 young children and found the cottage to be perfect for our needs. Very spacious and clean. Extremely comfortable and with lovely touches such as jigsaws and games and plenty of kitchen equipment. Lovely walk to the local castle across the fields and plenty to do in the local area.

West Yorkshire at it's very finest!
I grew up in Newsome, but now live in the USA. I brought my family home for a visit and we found this cottage to rent. The web site does not do this place enough justice. The place was spotless, you really could have eaten off the floor but why would you when the dine in kitchen was so welcoming. The cottage offers very comfortable accommodation for up to five and is well thought out in terms of layout and amenities.
Welcoming hosts and cats made this place a hit with my children who were more than happy to unplug, go outside and enjoy the view and playtime with the kitties! Could not have asked for a nicer place to stay and like many other previous guests, we would stay here again and will recommend without hesitation or reservation to anyone wanting a true home from home to stay at in the Huddersfield area.
