Really impressed with the Lodge… We had an amazing time and we enjoyed every moment of it… The Lodge is perfect for a small family or couple looking to get away to the coast for a break… I would recommend it to anyone and would happily stay there again…

Lovely stay, fantastic location with lots to do in the area
We (family of 4) stayed while visiting from Ottawa, Canada as part of a longer UK/EU trip. The accomodation was outstanding - nice and clean, lots of room, great facilities (having a washer on a long trip is a huge benefit!). Everything was well setup, check in/out was super easy and we had everything we needed. The beach is a bit of a hike but this was as described. It's well worth the walk though as the beach is amazing (bonus finds there for WW2 buffs too). We used Filey as a base for exploring the local area or further afield and it was very convenient My only suggestion for improvement is the door locks. We don't have locks anything like this is North America and they are non-obvious to overseas visitors so some simple instructions would help. Once we figured them out, we had no issues though. Outstanding place, would stay again.
