Laetitia, the owner, was very welcoming. The apartment itself is very spacious and warm. Very nice place! We will definitely go back.

Cozy, updated basement apartment
The 3 of us stayed a week and we enjoyed our time there. Geispolsheim is a small and quiet village. It is a small place, but everything is clean and nicely decorated. Because of the location as well as the space, this place is perfect for 2 people.
The walls are rather thin but it was quiet at night and any noise during the day did not bother us. However, the table is narrow and awkward to eat from the chairs. We got used to holding our plates during meals so it's doable, but it does take some creativity to dine in, in such a small place. There's a grocery store right around the corner and a pharmacy nearby, so it was very convenient as well.
The owner was very helpful and kind to help us get from the station when we arrived--that was an unexpected blessing--thank you! A car would be very nice because the train's schedule, we found out, was not very convenient and we ended up relying on the bus and the next town's trams more, which was fine but took many stops before arriving in Strasbourg. Overall we enjoyed our stay and felt very safe and relaxed there.
