Big and beautiful 10 bedroom home (10 full baths, 2 half baths, 3 king beds, 12 queen beds, 2 doubles and 5 singles) on Lake Oconee in Georgia's lake country. Great for large groups with huge flat yard, big lake view and plenty of space to park. Sleeps 35 in beds, maximum occupancy during day 28, overnight 22.

Gorgeously decorated, modern kitchen, butler's pantry, huge casual dining area or add candles and make it formal. Most all rooms have satellite T.V. WiFi. Plenty of fun inside to match lake activity outside with big game room with pool table, pin ball, golden T and theater room.

All bedrooms have private baths, some bedrooms have satellite T.V. (Except one). All decorated in southern state themes; South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia, Mississippi, Louisiana and Kentucky. Master suite has large shower and jacuzzi with a view of gorgeous sunrises or lakeside activities.

Private swimming pool, and gazebo.

The home is located half way between Greensboro and Madison about 10 miles in either direction for great shopping or quaint restaurants. Many golf courses within 10 to 15 minutes. Easy to find about one mile off of major highway down a tranquil paved road through pastures and forest enough to sooth any jangled nerve but neighborly enough to give peace of mind that you're not all alone even though you think you are.

Our family of 15 enjoyed our weekend stay at your home. The setting was beautiful, the grandchildren enjoyed the lake and the spaciousness of the house fit our family well. Giving an honest review, I must say that the house does need some maintenance and updating. Even so, this would not keep us from staying there again in the future.

Good Place for Large Groups

The house is perfect for large groups especially large groups of families. The house needs a little bit of updating to some parts but is overall a good place.

Room for all to relax

This house had comfortable bedrooms, great views, and plenty of unique spaces for a party of 17 to enjoy. The dining area comfortably seated our large group and the theatre room was a plus. The host was responsive to a concern about the hot tub which worked well with instructions. A pressure cleaning of the outside would have enhanced the resort feel and the area of the lake we were in was not great for a large boat but it was fun for those who liked to fish and kayak.

House was a bit dated, and not up to par with what the pictures showed on line. Pics were def from a few years ago. Beach volleyball was grass/weed volleyball - no sand in sight. Oven was broken, lights not working, spider webs literally everywhere. Whole property was nice but very much needs an update and deep clean. Hosts were attentive and friendly, and were always very helpful. Did we enjoy our stay, yes we did. Would we stay here again… no.

Over all a nice stay, home and grounds need trimming and deep cleaning. Pressure washing, general maintenance & landscaping! 3rd floor A/C & pool pump went out but owner had them fixed quickly.Plenty of rooms and places to share family with! Pool & Hot tube was nice!Over all a nice stay.In its heyday it was probably something super special.

The back of the property was absolutely gorgeous. We enjoyed the pool, yard and kayaks. We loved all the space in the house where everybody could be together or be apart. The theatre and game room were a big hit. It was easy to communicate with the owners. The only downfall for our family was the kitchen amenities weren't up to par. We like to cook all our own meals, and we were limited as to what we could do based on what was available. We were at the limit for overnight guests, so we had a full house.

Family reunion

The house was a great setup for our family reunion. The outdoor space and game area was great! There were plenty of comfortable beds and plenty of seating for our group of 27. It needed to have had a better cleaning before we arrived, especially one of the bathrooms. We did enjoy our stay there.

Lake side wonder

Our family vacations every year for over 40 years and this lake front home is a gem. The views are incredible. We fished most every morning and evening. It’s quiet here but the property provides most everything you need. The kitchen is loaded with cooking pots/pans/ crock pots for even advanced cooks. The game room was an amazing plus for all ages. Board games, pin ball, pool table and movie theater was a huge hit. If all else fails the amazing pool is always there. There were some things that needed fixed which we were there. It was easily and quickly taken care of. Communication between the property manager and myself was amazing. We are thinking of coming back in a couple years. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home.

Great place for a large family

This was a wonderful property to stay at for a large family gathering. Lots of fun in the game room downstairs, and lots of yard space to play sports outside. The pool & hot tub were awesome as well.

Great Family Get-away

This house had everything our group needed, from the pool, volleyball court, basketball court, and large kitchen with enough to cook for the whole group. Host was super nice and great to work with.

BEWARE!!! This is a HUGE home that has not been taken care of. If you don’t care about cleanliness or safety…the place has fairly comfortable beds and clean sheets. The pool was completely green on arrival…did not get use…hot tub is literally eroding and never got hot, kitchen ovens DIRTY or don’t work, cockroaches, spider webs behind doors, walls, doors, baseboards are filthy, electrical wiring is bad…one lady almost got electrocuted with a flame that came out of the floor. Hot water heater is too small for house, patio furniture covered in mold- had to scrub them to get some cleaned for use, air conditioning did not work in downstairs first night, elevator did not work (no biggie for us) but they wanted a repair man to come while we were there for a few hours…we said “no”. The Activity building is full of rats in the walls, rat droppings everywhere and the smell of urine is overwhelming. SAFETY…there is no cell service and only three doors lock on the main floor…two that go to the pool do not lock. There is more…but I think you can get the pictures. Unless the owners put some serious work and money into fixing this home, I would NOT recommend renting.
