Contemporary Beach House On Prvic Island

This Contemporary Beach House found its place above small fishing village on the island of Prvic, which is close to the medieval city of Sibenik. This holiday house offers charming accommodation, incredible views and a 250 square meter garden full of olive trees, lavander, rosmary and yucca plants. The entire front wall of this home is made of glass doors that offer astonishing views of the sea and let in as much natural light as possible. The doors can be blinded with protective shutters to maintain privacy.

In this child friendly house with a modern vibe you will be able to rest and enjoy a peaceful gateway from the noisy urban life and discover the charm of it's very romantic Dalmatian surroundings.

The island can be reached easily from the 2 nearest airports: Split (63km) and Zadar (60km). Both haverelatively good connections, to Zadar you can fly with Easyjet, Flybe, Eurowings, Transavia France, LOT, Ryan Split with Aer Lingus, easyJet, Eurowings, Monarch, Norwegan Air Shuttle, Wizz air, Thomas Cook Airlines, Vueling, Norwegian Air Shuttle...

Buses from Split/Zadar to Šibenik run every hour (4 euros per person), and there is also private taxi available from the airport to Prvic island which costs 80 euro for the whole family.

If you are a fan of nice beaches, fishing, snorkelling, hiking and good seafood you are going to enjoy a peaceful gateway from the noisy urban life on this quite Mediterranean island.

An absolute gem of a property. We loved our stay here, with the epic views over the ocean, the lovely garden and everything we needed inside. Host was so helpful, welcoming us on arrival and responding to all our requests for information. Prvic is an idylic place, and kept both the 4 year old and 14 year-old entertained. Highly recommend!

Unser Urlaub auf der kleinen Insel Prvić war wunderschön und sehr erholsam. Den Ausblick aufs Meer und das Häuschen mitten im Grünen haben wir mit unseren drei Kindern (10,10,12) sehr gemocht. Luca Prvić ist ein sehr entspannter kleiner Ort ohne viel Touristentrubel. Wir konnten morgens am glasklaren Wasser Kaffee trinken und mit den Kindern mittags schnorcheln und stand-up paddeln. Entgegen unserer Pläne, die Umgebung auf dem Festland zu erkunden (Split, Krka Nationalpark,…), haben wir die kleine Insel bis auf einen Ausflug mit der Fähre nach Sibenik nicht verlassen. Paradies für Laufwillige

Wir waren mit unseren beiden Kindern dort 5 und 8 Jahre alt) und haben die 2 Wochen sehr genossen. Ana ist eine tolle Gastgeberin und die Unterkunft gepflegt und liebevoll gestaltet. Uns hat es gefallen, dass man für alles, was man erreichen will laufen muss. Morgens Treppen runter in den Ort zum Frühstück und Einkaufen (frischer Fisch, Gemüse, Obst), dann runter und hoch zum Strand und zurück, am Abend ggf nochmal hoch und runter, um Essen zu gehen oder ein Eis zu essen. Also nichts für Lauffaule. Für alle anderen ein absoluter Genuss!

Privic Luca ist ein ruhige und entspannte Insel. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants sind ausreichend vorhanden. Ana ist eine ganz wunderbare Gastgeberin. Sie versendet viele wichtige Informationen im Vorfeld und hat einen Parkplatz in Srima zur Verfügung gestellt. Im Haus ist alles vorhanden was man braucht.

Wir haben als Familie mit zwei Teenagern das Feriendomizil von Ana zwei Wochen lang mit allen Sinnen genossen. Die vielen verschiedenen Gewürze und Kräuter des Gartens wehten uns beim Sitzen auf der traumhaften Terrasse in der Nase. Der Blick in die Ferne über das Meer und die vielen kleinen Inseln ist nicht zu überbieten! Die gesamte Insel haben wir als eher privat, mit lauter freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Menschen erlebt. Die vielen felsigen Buchten haben wir den Stränden vorgezogen, hier konnten wir beim Schnorcheln jede Menge Fische und sogar einen Tintenfisch sehen. Ana ist eine Seele von Mensch. Sie war jederzeit für uns erreichbar, gab uns hilfreiche Tipps und hat das Domizil durch ihre Kunst in allen Räumen zu etwas sehr Persönlichem gemacht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Vielen herzlichen Dank liebe Ana für diese zwei Wochen im Paradies!! Familie Kuchler

Wunderschöne Lage, ideal für jene die Ruhe suchen und nicht viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten suchen, dafür müsste man aufs Festland. Es gibt einen Shop zum Einkaufen und vormittags einen Obst-Gemüsestand und Bäckerei.

Wir hatten in dem kleinen Haus von Ana eine wunderbare Zeit. Ana war sehr hilfsbereit, die Kommunikation mit ihr und ihrem Sohn war perfekt. Sie hat uns persönlich empfangen und uns das Haus gezeigt. Es liegt ein wenig auf einem Hügel, wer keine Stufen scheut und gerne einen Weitblick und Ruhe hat, ist hier genau richtig. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen ;)

Liebe Ana, Viele Dank für die perfekte Organisation! Das Auto parken, Telefonnummer des Taxi Boots und alles andere: Boot mieten,parken, etc. Der Empfang war sehr nett und das Haus war genau wir beschrieben, gemütlich und sehr stilvoll eingerichtet, voll mit Kunstwerken von dir! Fantastisch uitzicht

Willen zeker nog een keer terug maar met weinig bagage op het heetst van de dag met zware koffers de berg op 150 meter 124 treden valt ook voor een sportieve familie niet mee. Gelukkig is dat een keer en daarna is het uitzicht en de locatie genieten.

Ein super Urlaub

Das einzig anstrengende war der Anstieg über die vielen Treppenstufen am heißesten Tag bis zum Haus. Dort würde man dann aber mit wunderbarer Aussicht und einem tollen Haus entschädigt. Wir waren begeistert und werden gerne noch einmal wieder dort Urlaub machen.

This is heaven. A gorgeous setting with vistas that include sunrise and sunset. Lavender scented.

A beautiful experience. Silent Prvic. No cars. Clean air. Good restaurants. Great people. The hosts are the best. Ana and Ivan make life easy. The climb up to the cottage is a bit challenging in high heat but worth it ten times over. And the swimming is amazing. Brilliant. Keep it a secret.

Wunderschönes Idyll auf besonderer Insel Prvic

Das Ferienhaus liegt am Hang oberhalb des Dorfes Prvic Luka mit phantastischem Blick auf das Meer und die umliegenden Inseln. Die Terrasse ist eingerahmt von einem liebevoll gestalteten Garten. Gleich nebenan wohnt Ana, die sympathische, herzliche und zuvor kommende Gastgeberin, die man alles fragen kann. Man sollte allerdings wissen, dass das Ferienhaus etwas weiter vom Wasser entfernt liegt, als es auf den Fotos erscheint und man eine ganze Reihe von Stufen hinauf läuft. Dadurch allerdings hat man diesen herrlichen Blick in die Weite. Die Insel Prvic hat einen ganz besonderen Charme. Sie lädt zu Spaziergängen an der Küste und durch die Felder und Wälder ein - in wunderschöner Natur und zu den zwei Orten auf der Insel. Diese sind klein und gemütlich, es gibt mehrere gastfreundliche Restaurants in toller Lage direkt am Wasser. Mit der Fähre, die gleich unten in Luka ablegt, gelangt man mehrmals täglich auf das Festland. Dort kann man die Städte Sibenik und Vodice besuchen. Von Sibenik aus gelangt man problemlos mit dem Bus zum wunderschönen Nationalpark Krka, in dem man stundenlang in der Natur an phantastischen Wasserfällen entlang laufen kann.

Ana and Ivan were so welcoming and generous with both communication and their time. We loved the location, the house and the Island. It was a perfect space for the 3 of us to relax and take in the beauty and peace of Prvic Luka. The house was in perfect condition and had everything we needed. Ana was welcoming and kind, giving us advice as well as fresh figs and tomatoes from her garden! We will definitely be back as soon as we can.

Fantastic family holiday home

We had a great time at Ana and Ivan's house in Prvic Luka (2 adults, 2 kids). The property is very well equipped with everything you need for self-catering, and also snorkelling gear is available for free. The house is beautifully decorated with plenty of space for relaxing inside or on the terrace. The air-con was a welcome relief but not needed all the time due to the sea breezes. Wifi and mobile signal are excellent so no need to be disconnected unless you want to. The garden is lovely and peaceful with an amazing view out to sea, but is only a few minutes walk to the village where there are some great restaurants, cafes, a grocery store, a bakery counter plus a local fruit and vegetable market several days a week. Prvic is an excellent place to stay, with plenty of small local beaches and rocky shoreline to explore, but easy access by water taxi or ferry to the mainland or other islands. Swimming is possible round most of the island and the waters around Prvic Luka are clean and still. Just take some water sandals to protect against stones and sea urchins. Overall we had a great stay at the beach house and would love to go again some day.

Traumhaft!! Am liebsten wären wir länger geblieben!

Die Bilder sind vielversprechend, aber das Original ist noch viel schöner! Der Blick aufs Meer vom Schlafzimmer aus beim Aufwachen, beim Frühstück, beim Barbecue im liebevoll angelegten und gepflegten Garten...unvergesslich! Das Ferienhaus hat alles was man braucht und Ivan und Ana sind hervorragende, herzliche Gastgeber. Bei Fragen standen sie immer sofort sehr hilfreich zur Verfügung. Prvić Luka ist eine ruhige, idyllische Insel mit sehr freundlichen Einwohnern. Hier kann man wunderbar abschalten und den Urlaub genießen. Mit der Fähre, auf der man mit fantastischem Kaffee versorgt wird, ist man schnell in Śibenik, oder Vodice. Śibenik hat eine wunderschön Altstadt mit vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten, tollen Restaurants und Cafés und günstigen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Von hier aus kann man wunderbar Tagesausflüge starten, z.b. Zu einem der nahegelegenen Nationalparks, die einen Besuch absolut wert sind. Wer seine Eindrücke dort allerdings nicht mit tausenden anderen Touristen teilen möchte, sollte unter der Woche, früh morgens dorthin fahren. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen und möchten uns an dieser Stelle noch einmal bedanken! Liebe Grüsse, Julian und Katharina

Why they chose this property

"I want escape. Peace. Relaxation. A walk in the wilderness", those are the words I told the arhitect who designed this house.

As an outdoor enthusiasts I wanted to build a eco friendly house that blurrs the line between interior and the beautiful landscape surrounding it.
