Buongiorno ! We are Famiglia Marani: in 2007 we opened Clelia Apartments, first in Riomaggiore, then in Corniglia (Cinque Terre) and finally here in Deiva Marina where our adventure started many years ago: infact we have been managing our hotel Clelia in Deiva Marina, Italian Riviera since 1954.


Why they chose this property

Clelia Eco Friendly apartments: completely renovated in 2010 according to rules inspired by respect for the environment!
1) The walls of Clelia Ecological house are protected by a special coating that wraps the bulding around and ensures a constant internal temperature, without unnecessary energy waste.
2) On the roof there are solar panels because Italy is so lucky to have 300 days of sunshine a year that and it would be a shame using them only to lie on a beach: for the hot water coming out of the taps in your apartment, say thanks to the sun! The photovoltaic system connected to the solar panels guarantees electricity.
3) All light bulbs are low power or led
4) Jet breakers on taps to save water
5) Recycling bins are located right next to the apartments, in the driveway that leads to the parking: please separate damp, tin, glass, plastic, used batteries, medicines. For exausted frying oil, feel free to contact our Reception.
6) The hygiene of the apartments is guaranteed by the presence of a centralized vacuum cleaner that eliminates dust and mites by safety expelling the treated air outside the building, this way diminishing the use of insecticide sprays.
7)Turning lights off when leving a room, keeping windows closed if air conditioning or heating is on, using only the amount of water that is necessary, without wasting it are behaviours that require little efforts but contribute greatly to preserving the environment.
