An Excellent Barbados Family Villa With Private Pool - 2 Mins Walk To The Beach

This villa is a wonderful holiday home with views of the Caribbean Sea off the west coast of Barbados.

Located across the road from Mullins Beach, the villa offers uninterrupted ocean views across the bay from the property. Three of the four bedrooms offer a delightful view of the gardens, Mullins Bay and the Caribbean Sea beyond and are located on the top floor. The fourth bedroom is positioned in the basement, though not underground.

All four bedrooms are fully air-conditioned with en-suite bathrooms. Decorated to perfection and with comfort in mind, the villa contains large high-res flat screen televisions, and high-speed fibre internet service.

There is a glorious outdoor pool and shower, and for outdoor dining guests can enjoy the private gazebo equipped with an 8-seater dining table and barbeque grill. When lounging by the pool, relax and forget all your worries while enjoying a refreshing rum punch made by your onsite cook.

This villa offers a true Caribbean escape in a tropical setting; come experience it today.

This is an excellent option for a Barbados villa rental with friends or a family getaway. Your rental includes the services of a cook and housekeeper, 6 days per week excluding public holidays.

We can arrange transfers from the airport for you, a car rental if required and we can even arrange to have groceries at the villa for your arrival. All these services are payable locally once you are in Barbados.

The cost of groceries is not included in the price. However, we can arrange to have your initial groceries delivered to the property for your arrival. This would be payable directly to our local house managers.

Please note that beaches in Barbados are affected throughout the year by changes in weather and currents, which result in sand deposition and erosion.

​This property rental DOES NOT permit the use of Riemann P20 Sunscreen, as it damages towels and fabrics. It can cause irreparable damage to linens that are not visible until laundered. Guests must check that their sunscreen does not contain P20. Guests will be charged up to USD$50 per damaged towel or up to USD$300 per damaged sheet or coverlet.

A 5th bedroom has just been added, and it can be used for an additional cost. Please contact us for details. This rate would allow a maximum of 10 people (including children) to stay at the villa.

STAY HERE!!!!!! This place is everything you could ever want. Comes with a cook and maid! The rooms are clean and cozy. Its directly across the street for the beach. The ladies of the the house are the absolute best and Will is the best cook in Barbados! Don't waste your time looking anywhere else. This place made my 30th birthday trip unforgettable.

Little slice of heaven

We enjoyed a wonderful week at Sundown. The property is lovely and very well maintained-photos are very accurate. The beds were comfortable and bedrooms kept cool with AC. Liza the chef was so great to work with meal planning and was very talented. Marsha and Anne were so lovely with the kids and kept the house beautifully clean. We would walk barefoot across the street to the beach with towels and enjoyed endless hours in the pool. We chose restaurants that were within a 10 minute taxi ride and enjoyed wonderful meals. Drivers were easy to connect with. We have zero complaints and left Barbados with memories that we’ll have for a lifetime!

Great property, amazing location

Stayed at Sundown for a week in early Nov and overall, really enjoyed it. Due to unforeseen circumstances, our party was reduced to 4, so we did not make use of all the rooms available, as it is a large property with 4 bedrooms (although 1 is in the basement). Our reduced numbers also meant we did not need to make use of the provided chef as much as we might have done, but that said, Lisa, and the team who support the property, were amazing and catered for everything we needed, and the quality of Lisa's cooking was excellent! All the rooms were decently appointed in a simple way, with huge amounts of storage (including lots of hangers!), and good-sized shower rooms. Beds are on the firm side, but we are used to that, so that was no issue for us. One point to note is that, whilst there are lots of TVs (all with good channel selections), there is no entertainment system, so I would recommend bringing your own speaker if you wish to have any music during your stay. Outside, the grounds are huge and the pool, although not massive, is more than capable of supporting a decent sized family, and everything is maintained to a high standard. Location of the property is perfect for the West Coast, with easy access to Holetown & Speightstown and the beach at Mullins just across the road, with a number of excellent bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. So overall, if you are a decent sized party, looking to stay on the west coast, this is a great property to look at.

Wonderful!

This is a wonderful villa. You are so close to Mullins Beach, it really is so easy to nip back and forth which is what we did alot! The villa is very clean and well looked after and the outside space worked really well for us. The staff were extremely friendly and kind and the chef (Paul) cooked stunning meal after stunning meal. Very pleased with our choice and we would highly recommend.

Our stay at SunDown Villa was absolutely perfect.. The Villa was decorated beautifully and felt like a serene spa setting. The pool was a great spot to relax or just take a few steps across the street to the beautiful ocean waters... Everything about SunDown Villa was perfect including our personal Chef Paul and Housekeeper Jarea who made us feel so special and took care of all our needs!!! Cannot wait to come back to Barbados and spend more time in this beautiful paradise!!!

Wow just great!

A wonderful stay at Sundown was had by the whole family. Loads of space and so close the beach it was just in a fantastic location. We all loved eating at Mullins Beach Bar & Restaurant but we also had some lovely meals in too. Our thanks go to all the staff who made our stay even more special.

Fantastic time

Our family stayed at the villa during the summer and had a fantastic time. We had 8 people in the group and there was plenty of room for everyone. The real bonus for us was how close the beach was but still having a bit of privacy. Many beachfront properties lack this side of it so this was a real plus for us. The staff were super lovely and although we didn't eat many meals in what we did have was delicious. When we decide to go to Barbados again we would love to stay here. Highly recommend.

Loved it! Loved it! Loved it!

We all had a fantastic time at the villa and really cannot wait to go back. For the price it was a great sized villa with Mullins Beach just a short stroll away. This worked out perfect for us as the older children could wander down to the beach whilst others sat round the pool. The staff were all so lovely and we have some wonderful food cooked for us. Would highly recommend.
