This apartment (50sqm) is on the ground floor, offers 3 beds, ideal for a couple with a child. Two furnished terraces available. The two-room apartment with sea view offers up to 3 beds and includes: double bedroom (double bed + single bed / cot), living room with built-in kitchen, bathroom and two terraces.
The owners live in the apartment next door, on the ground floor.
The villa overlooks the beach of Punta Grande, a town surrounded by cliffs of white marl and tuff that is located a few steps from the "Scala Dei Turchi". The house has been renovated and furnished in every detail respecting its style of origin. The furniture belongs to the historical furnishing of the house. The terracotta floors, the built-in kitchen, the bathroom is elegant and equipped with a shower. Our house was founded in 1887 as a summer residence of the family and is the first kind in the Gulf of Punta Grande. It has a wonderful sea view with direct access to the beach and the Mediterranean greenery that surrounds it.

Great Stay

Property was exactly as described. Proximity to beach, Scala dei Turchi and Valle di Templi were great. Gabriella met me at the car park paid for the first night parking then we walked to the property which is very close. The gate used to access the property is on the beach. Gabriella and Mauricio were both very hospitable and were very delightful. The outside seating areas, one on front and one to the side of the apartment were great. Very peaceful and relaxing!! Great place to relax and enjoy the beach and to take day trips around the area!!

Een ware parel!

We zijn hier 4 nachten verbleven in het appartement op het gelijkvloers. Het was er zalig! Heel mooi ingericht en ruim appartement met voldoende voorzieningen om te koken. Een privéterras aan de zijkant en een gemeenschappelijk terras vooraan met zicht op zee (de zee is werkelijk "aan de achterdeur"!) waar het fijn toeven is, ook voor een babbel met andere gasten of met Eugenia en haar man. Eugenia is een heel lieve en zeer behulpzame gastvrouw die heel goed Engels praat. We waren graag nog wat langer gebleven, het is een super plek!

Tolle Lage am Strand

Der feine Sandstrand ist auch ideal für Kinder geeignet. Von der Terrasse hat man einen schönen Blick über den kleinen Weinberg auf den breiten Strand und das Meer. Die Vermieter sind außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns in dem romantischen Herrenhaus sehr wohl gefühlt.

Soggiorno piacevolissimo

Posso dire con certezza che è stata una delle esperienze più piacevoli di sempre. La casa è situata in una posizione perfetta, la proprietaria ci ha accolto fornendoci tutte le informazioni necessarie per il soggiorno ed è stata sempre reperibile per qualsiasi esigenza. Un luogo perfetto per soggiornare godendo della vicinanza del mare.

Einfach wunderbar

Die Lage ist perfekt, nur der Garten trennt Terrasse und Sandstrand. Wir waren bei sommerlichem Wetter im Oktober da und haben sowohl den Strand genutzt, als auch die Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung besucht, die Tempel in Agrigento, die Villa Romana del Casale und die tolle Küstenlandschaft in westlicher Richtung. Die Scala dei Turchi ist gleich um die Ecke, da läuft man nur ein paar Minuten am Strand. Eugenia hat uns sehr nett begrüßt und war immer ansprechbar, wenn wir irgendwelche Anliegen hatten. Die Ferienwohnung ist sauber und ordentlich und für uns zwei Personen absolut ausreichend gewesen. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden und wären gerne noch länger geblieben.

Amazing location and fabulous property

We loved it here! Steps to the beach, beautiful property, wonderful hosts! We walked on the beach every morning - you can literally walk for miles - and the swimming out front is fantastic. We were reluctant to go see the sites as we enjoyed just hanging out at the apartment. However if you do decide to venture out, it is an easy drive to the Valley of the Temples, which shouldn't be missed! We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to everyone else.

Wir hatten wunderbare Tage an einem herrlichen Ort. Das Bett breit und bequem in einer sehr gut ausgestatteten Ferienwohnung mit Terrasse und Meerblick sowie direktem Zugang zum Strand. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und äusserst hilfsbereit und wir bedanken uns für die gute Zeit!

Beautiful stay by the sea!

My husband and I spent a lovely two days in this perfect little hideaway overlooking the sea. Eugenia and Mauricio were such kind and thoughtful hosts, the apartment charming with everything we needed, and the beachfront welcoming, with just a 15 minute walk along the shore to La Scala dei Turchi. Falling asleep and waking to the gentle waves and quiet bird calls was so relaxing that our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. We hope to return to such a wonderful home with such lovely hosts!

Family atmosphere in beautyfull location

The host Gabriella was incredibly nice and helpfull, the appartment (down) has a beautyfull terrace overlooking the sandy beach and the beautyfull garden; we did not spend much time in the flat itself since it lacks a bit the light and the main room is the sleeping room with an attached kitchen (also not the brightest room) in the back that is very well equipped and has a second terrace out back. The appartment was spotless clean and the bathroom facilities were modern and clean. The beach is very wide and sandy, perfect for a morning run. We will definetly come again!

Très belle maison, directement sur la plage !

Notre séjour chez Eugenia a été l'une de nos plus belles expériences en Sicile, un vrai coup de coeur pour cette magnifique maison, ses vignes dont nous avons adoré déguster les raisins, et qui donne directement sur la plage ! A quelques pas de la Scala dei Turchi, et très bien située pour aller visiter la vallée des Temples, c'est un havre de paix très reposant et apaisant, un vrai bonheur de s'endormir avec juste le bruit des vagues ! Nous recommandons absolument !

La casa, la playa a dos pasos, el mar azul y de aguas frescas; encantados. Eugenia, un diez.

Casa Ciotta es un lugar encantador, con historia y con todo lo necesario para pasar unos días inolvidables. Hemos paseado cada mañana por la playa antes de desayunar, hacia la deslumbrante Scala dei Turchi o en dirección Porto Empedocle pasando al lado de una villa romana; practicamente solos (la gente llega a partir de las diez o más tarde). El mar, con algunas olas o como un espejo. Aguas agradablemente fresquitas (en julio), poco profundas. En el entorno, Agrigento y sus templos griegos; el espectacular emplazamiento del teatro y la ciudad de Eraclea Minoa; el agreste pueblo de Caltabellotta (recomendable la ascensión hasta la cima del risco); el espacio natural de la Foce del rio Platani; o la casa natal de Luigi Pirandello. Y en menos de una hora se puede llegar a Piazza Armerina (Villa del Casale y sus inacabables mosaicos) o a Selinunte (otra ciudad salpicada de templos dóricos). Hay que disfrutar también de la rica comida siciliana en todos sus formatos (caponata, pastas, pez espada, frituras, casattas, sandías como pelotas de Nivea,...). Por último, Eugenia, la anfitriona; amable, atenta, culta y muy buena conocedora de su trabajo, hace que te sientas como en la casa de un familiar o un buen amigo. Las siestas entre 2 y 4, sublimes.

Voglio esprimere una menzione particolare per questi nostri ospiti spagnoli. Montserrat e Luis sono affabili, simpatici, colti e affettuosi. Ci siamo intrattenuti a lungo sotto le stelle ed anche sotto i bagliori della luna rossa dell’eclissi a parlare di tutto dai figli, alla cucina e all’arte egizia di cui Luis è un esperto conoscitore. Non potrò dimenticare le belle serate trascorse in loro compagnia e mi auguro di tutto cuore di poterli incontrare ancora magari ( chissà!) tra le piramidi egizie.
