About this property

Comfortable, homely, sympathetically renovated early Victorian streethouse

A private, bright, south-facing first floor Apartment located just off The Square (one of the prettiest in Ireland) in the centre of Comber, it is accessed through an archway and small, pretty Comber Courtyard which also houses The Goose Cafe (great for breakfasts and lunches), Courtyard Salon where brother and sister Sam and Alison offer hair and beautician treatments (including hot stone massages!). We have a high street location with free, no time limit carparking on street adjacent.

With a spacious open-plan living, dining and kitchen area, the Apartment offers contemporary living in an elegant early Victorian setting. There is an en suite double room, a twin room with separate main bathroom with corner bath and the option of a small bed addition of a lounge area sofa bed (at a small surcharge for extra laundry) . There is a laundry area with washing machine and condensor dryer.

There is instant continuous hot water and full gas-fired central heating with a generous complimentary starter allowance for gas and electric. We offer big fluffy home-laundered bathsheets, towels and bed linen ( beach or sports towels on request).

Locally we have eateries and supermarkets only a few steps away with options of Gastro Pubs, Michelin Bib Gourmand and starred eateries within a few minutes drive.

There are walks just a couple of minutes away. Newtownards and Dundonald are just 5 minutes drive, Belfast City Centre, City Airport, Bangor, Lisburn and ferries are just from 20 minutes away.

Great location in picturesque town
Enjoyed the stay, excellent location and perfect size and set up. Even had a Christmas tree! Coming from another country, the systems for topping up and ensuring enough gas and electricity seemed complicated, but we fortunately didn't need to over three days. Recommend for anyone who wants to experience Northern Ireland outside of Belfast in the heart of a small community, with great views and walks.

Comber - gateway to County Down.
Very attractive little apartment, conveniently situated for touring Ards peninsular. Well appointed, thoughtfully equipped, in a very friendly, 'boutique', central location with a caring landlord.
