Cottage L'Enea Terrasse, Penthouse River View, Family Treat with Pool & Gardens

Set on the second level of the cottage, the self contained L'EnéaTerrasse (82sqm-873sq ft.) offers an unparalleled view from its large terrace (36sqm-386sq ft.) overlooking the Dordogne river.

Unwind as you relax while watching the river roll by. It includes a living area with a fully equipped kitchen. This accommodation sleeps up to 6 guests with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with showers, 2 toilets.

The outdoor pool is shared between our guests from the Grand Maison and our three Cottages, La Marcillande, L'Enea Terrasse and La Gardonnette and set in spacious, private gardens, all of which you have access to. Our estate is collectively known as Moon River sur-Dordogne.

Virtually steps from your door, the Dordogne calmly flows and leads you to enjoy amazing views as you stroll the peaceful hiking trails that begins from our estate. An easy 15 minute walk to the village centre of Saint Cyprien, allows easy access to all stores and cafes. The Sunday Farmers Market brings you all the best natural produce the area has to offer.

Stay perfect in every way!

Fantastic in absolutely everyway! From the moment we arrived and were greeted by William and Sophie we were in love, with the apartment, with the amazing location in the countryside but close to St. Cyprien and within a stones throw of the peaceful Dordogne and with the assurance that William and Sophie were always available and happy to help us out with any directions or recommendations. We spent very little time in the car because the highlights of the Dordogne are so close. We loved hiking right outside our front door and around the beautiful countryside from All Trails app recommendations, Our entire week long stay flew by but was all glorious! We hope to return with more of our family in the near future, even though this was our third trip to the Dordogne from the US.

Cadre idyllique pour profiter de la Dordogne

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, la terrasse est exceptionnelle avec sa vue sur la Dordogne, le gite très agréable et bien aménagé. Noter seulement que la salle de bain située à l’étage est très basse de plafond car située dans les combles. Une mention particulière pour la disponibilité et l’accueil chaleureux de Sophie et William. Location que je recommande sans réserve.

Excellent location and house

Our family visited Moon River in july 2021. Even though the booking was made late we were in close contact with the owner David. We we nicely welcomed by William and his wife (landlord). The house (biggest in Moon River) was pure luxury. The pool nice and clean. The view to Dordogne is fantastic and the small town Saint-Cyprien has all you can want (restaurents; butcher; bakeries and other shopping opportuniteis). Do not forget to visit the market in the weekend. During the week we did canoying, a lot of roadbike cykling, visited the castle Commarque. Went to the marked etc. So many more things to do. But we will have to come back another time. We can highly recommend this place. Troels and Karen

La location idéale pour découvrir la Dordogne...

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans la belle maison de Sophie et William. Celle-ci est idéalement située, près des commerces et à proximité de Sarlat, de Beynac, de Domme, de Castelnaud, de la vallée de la Vézère (Les Eyzies, Lascaux) et de la plupart des autres châteaux, abbayes, jardins et bastides. La belle terrasse au sud offre une très jolie vue sur la Dordogne et la grande piscine derrière la maison un délicieux refuge aux heures chaudes. Merci encore à Sophie de son accueil et de sa gentillesse.

Numerous short, medium and long walks all way marked, right outside the property.
The history of this regions which makes it world renowned.
The Grande Maison and three cottages are located on the banks of the river.
The architecture, character and history of the properties make it an absolutely joy to be in and look at.
Being only 2kms from St. Cyprien, makes the location of our properties special. We have privacy, the beautiful river, nature and walking trails, yet are so close to all the amenities needed in what is a beautiful, medieval village.
When you have been fortunate enough to have lived in an area such as this, you can understand why so many people, including us, decided to stay. You will love it.
