Extensively renovated, this antique 1896 Pinehurst home maintains much of its original detailing balanced by all of the updated amenities expected by today's discerning visitors. The charming main home is beautifully highlighted by a spacious backyard and a brick entertaining courtyard, complete with casual seating for outdoor dining and a gas grill. Adjoining the courtyard The Craddock offers the unique opportunity to experience a completely converted carriage house. This additional entertaining haven is fully heated/air conditioned and boasts a pool table, large screen television, bar seating, refrigerator and a full bath.

The Craddock is located inside the historic village of Pinehurst, steps away from fine dining, pubs, shopping, galleries, resort amenities,parks and miles of walking and hiking trails. This vintage 1896 Tufts's home will allow you to have a true Pinehurst experience.

We can not wait to welcome you to this amazing historic village that we call home.

We had a great weekend getaway at the Craddock. It was perfect for our group of 6 couples. The location couldn’t be beat - a short walk to the Spa, shops, and dining. Already looking forward to our next trip!

Great Pinehurst Stay!!

Property was a great option for those looking to stay off resort. We had beds for each of the members in our group and plenty of bathrooms too. The pool and poker tables were great night time activities, and proximity to the brewery/ downtown/ Pinehurst clubhouse was amazing! Highly reccomend!

This was the perfect property for our group of 8. This 1896 home in the Village of Pinehurst was wonderful. The home had everything we could need, including a nice pool table and recently renovated kitchen. We were able to walk everywhere - morning coffee, dinner, and shopping. Father/Son Pinehurst Weekend Part 2

We rented this property along with the Scituate House which is next door. The yards are connected and it was super convenient for our large golf group of 12 guys. The house is great and the garage pool hall with 2 murphy beds was a big hit. Great property in a great location.

Amazing house. Fantastic location.

Perfect house for a guys’ golf trip. Our group of twelve guys easily fit in the house and the house is exactly as described. Easy walk to many restaurants and bars. Would definitely rent again if we end up in Pinehurst again next year. (Pro tip: make sure you enlist the services of Wally to set your trip up for success).

Perfect Pinehurst Cottage

We rented the Craddock Cottage for a multi family golf/spa weekend at Pinehurst. The property was perfect. The site manager, Brandon was very easy to work with, although we really didn't need anything. Plenty of rooms and beds. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. The kitchen was well stocked, the extra ice maker is a bonus. The outbuilding with the pool table, beds and bath was perfect for the 20somethings in the group. Can't wait to come back to Craddock Cottage.

Perfect for golf group getaway

There were 8 of us in town for a golf trip. The house couldn't have been more perfect. Everything in listing is correct. The carriage house(set up as a pool table room) was the crowning touch. We will be back next year.

Why they chose this property

The Craddock was built by James Walker Tufts in the "second season" (1896) of Pinehurst. The resort was founded the prior year. We extensively remodeled this house to cater to the vacation traveler. For the golfer, the wedding parties, the spa retreats, this home and its location will keep you entertained after your day out and about.
