Lourdas Beachfront Studios is a one of a kind property situated just a 1 minute walk from a beautiful beach. The building has 4 studios set over 2 floors 1 & 2 are ground floor and 3 & 4 are 1st floor, each studio has a large double bed, modern tiled bathroom, kitchenette and balcony there is also a safe and complimentary WiFi.

Set on a picturesque hillside, Lourdas has stretches of golden sand that extend for miles, with clear sapphire waters and beautiful scenery. Behind the striking views lie woods that not only offer shelter but fantastic mountaineering trails for hiking enthusiasts.
By night, Lourdas turns into a lively town with numerous bars and plenty of outdoor seating so you can enjoy the attractive night time views Kefalonia offers. A good selection of traditional tavera's have plenty of local cuisine on offer.

Perfect location

We traveled all over the island, but this was a perfect spot to have as our homebase! The beach is about 10 steps away from the front door and plenty of space in the apartment, we cooked for ourselves in the unit and went for dinner along the beach, it was a lovely experience overall and would definitely stay here again!

Lovely beachfront stay

As close to the beach as you can get with a great balcony and view. Good air-conditioning which was needed. Lourdas beach is awesome, we loved our 9 day stay. Byo toilet paper.

Perfect position everyone was jealous of were we were staying as everyone else had to climb the hill to go to their apartment and we were right on the beach. It's lovely and clean and modern. Second time we have stayed we will be back

Beachfront 4 was a great place to stay at. Located right in front of the beach, you don’t need a car if you don’t plan to explore the island. It ma a quiet area with many restaurants and little markets. House cleaning was once in 3 or 4 days as described. If you plan on cooking, there are a few basics missing, but you can probably manage.

Peaceful and enjoyable beachfront apartment

We had a great time here. The apartment was exactly what we were hoping for, comfortable, clean, and quiet. The neighbors were quiet and nice. The location - right on the water - is ideal. The beach is extremely beautiful and so are the restaurants in the immediate neighborhood. I wish the Wi-Fi were more dependable; unfortunately it was not so, if this is a priority, as it was for us, think of alternative ways to connect. However, if it is not, this is the ideal place to rent for a peaceful and fun stay

Nice holiday

We stayed at the studios for about 15 days. The stay was pleasant with a splendid location right in front of the sea. The apartment was clean and quite nice, in a quiet area. Check-in and check-out were simple and quick. If I have to make a suggestion, for those like us who prefer not to go out for dinner every night, a larger table for dining on the balcony and a few more kitchen utensils would be helpful… especially a moka pot for coffee 😄 for us Italians who can't do without it even on vacation! Other than that, everything went well and it was an enjoyable vacation!

Great location

Have been to Lourdas many times before so knew exactly where the property was. Just a few steps from the beach. Great selection of tavernas nearby and apartment as good as it looks in the photo. We were a bit disappointed that no maid service all week (not even to empty the bins). Assume this is a legacy of covid but it would have been nice to have some spare bags to empty them ourselves (used carrier bags from the supermarket). Bob was great to deal with and arranged car hire for us. And Bob, there is a cafetiere!

I very much liked the style and location. Suited me well as solo traveller. BUT there is a meanness about the property too. Nothing provided eg loo roll, soap, toiletries, bottle of water. When arriving in the dark, it is very difficult as the apartments have sign saying Waterfront Suites. Total frustration for taxi driver. Claims to have smoke alarm but couldn't see one. I would stay again,however, as location suits me so well.

Great location, good air con and insect screens, excellent communication from host, well equipped kitchen. However, No ice box in the fridge; hard bed and bed linen too small, had to request extra pillows; poor lighting in the shower room; gloomy bedroom as the tree on the balcony is overgrown so the sea view is poor and the light inside low. Felt basic rather than luxe. Overall not as lovely as we were expecting.

Optimale Lage, Strand direkt vor der Tür. Tavernen und kleiner Supermarkt in unmittelbarer Nähe. Gute Aufteilung des Studios mit netter Standardeinrichtung. Reinigungsservice allerdings unregelmäßig - bis zu 5 Tagen ohne Handtuchwechsel u. Müllentfernung, was insbesondere für das Bad zu lang war. Anschließen kann ich mich, dass ein Eisfach im Kühlschrank und das Ausdünnen der wuchtigen Gummibäume schön wäre.

Location, location, location

We originally booked Waterfront Suites for the Summer of 2020 but were delayed due to Covid. We were delighted to be able to move our original booking and communication with Bob was always swift and v helpful. We know Lourdata well having stayed several times it was still as beautiful as ever. The apartment is a fantastic location opposite the beach and in the midst of a great choice of tavernas/ bars whilst still remaining quiet. Apartment was clean, comfortable and functional. Serviced twice during our 10 day stay. Only downside was the bed linen was ill fitting and the sea view was v interrupted by a huge rubber plant tree which really needs a good pruning!

We loved our stay. The accommodation was very clean and had everything we needed. The location which is within a few metres of the lovely beach and local tavernas is great and we enjoyed the balcony which felt like we were in the tree tops!

Perfect apartment for us

This apartment was exactly as shown. The view was breathtaking and having arrived in the dark it was lovely to wake up to the next morning! It was virtually on the beach which was just what we were looking for, as was the peace and quiet of Lourdata. We would definitely choose this again.

Location, Location, Location

On our seventh visit to Lourdas, the six previous staying 'up the hill' we thought we would try the beach for a change. We were not disappointed. The properties are as near to the beach as you can get without getting wet. They are as described, clean, and more spacious than the pictures suggest. When we arrived the air conditioning was not working. A swift phone call and 10 minutes later there was a man knocking on the door to fix the problem, even though it was 9.00pm. You cant ask for more than that. Top class service. There are plenty or restaurant/tavernas within easy waking distance. Overall the suites are perfect for a beach holiday and we will certainly return.
