About this property

Approached via a long pine tree lined driveway, Villa La Cala is a stunning holiday home located within walking distance to the pretty Cala San Vicente, with its 3 sandy bays (which is just 1.5km away). Surrounded by extensive terraces, gardens, and provided with 4 bedrooms together with a welcoming private pool, Villa La Cala is set to impress.

The villa (set over 2 floors) is particularly airy and full of natural light, with many large windows offering panoramic views to the surrounding countryside. The L-shaped kitchen is complete with a breakfast table and chairs and leads out to the pool area / outdoor dining area. The kitchen leads also to a lounge and a separate dining room both featuring a stone fireplace and many original Mallorcan features - both modern and antique. Three double glass doors lead out onto the lower terrace. Off the lounge is a twin bedroom located at the rear of the villa, together with a cloakroom/WC. A large piece of local rock is incorporated into the wall of this room. Then a staircase leads up to the upper floor where the 3 remaining bedrooms are located. This suite is approached through a doorway into a small hall with fitted wardrobes. Off this hall is an en-suite walk-in shower room and doors leading out to the upper terrace. A further double bedroom and a twin bedroom with an en suite bathroom are located on the upper floor and both have doors leading out to the upper terrace. A further separate shower room is also on this floor. The bedrooms of Villa La Cala are air-conditioned.

Villa La Cala is also the perfect choice for outdoor living, all summer long There are extensive terraces, beautifully furnished, and unique features turning the property into a special holiday home. The lower terrace has an antique glass topped table and dining chairs to one end and a bamboo settee and comfortable armchairs at the other. Then to the right as you approach the villa is the walled pool area with a terrace, pool side shower and sun beds. Three steps lead up to a pathway that goes around three sides of the property and leads to two small bridges over a stream and a short garden walk. Trees have been planted to the front of the property.

Needs Updating

We came for a nice family holiday however the pictures of this villa don’t represent its current state The Villa is tired and needs updating Wifi poor Shower blocked up No one came to clean the pool until we messaged as it was green and they put 2 chlorine tablets in Wasps all around the pool Ripped bedsheets No towels for the pool loungers and loungers are cheap so not comfy to sit on without a towel - we ended up at the market buying them Ants in the bedrooms and kitchen Cleaning charged in the price - they only change the bedsheets and towels nothing else - the left 1 bath and 1 had towel between 2 adults .. Outside area unsafe when dark as lack of lighting Pool loungers old and mouldy, wooden chairs rickety and splintered Generally round the pool was unsafe lots of crumbled concrete meant we had to sweep it ourselves .. Outside of house crumbling and all stained black it needs painting No contact from agent - should be a welcome book telling you about rubbish etc 3 bedrooms upstairs - 1 downstairs bedroom which only has a toilet not ideal for children Also there are no extra towels or sheets etc - so you do need to do your own washing as they only swapped them after 8 days .. There’s also nowhere to hang the washing !! Disappointing as had we known this there are lots of villas on the market at a similar price that are like the images on the marketing When we emailed the agent to advise of our comments they are not even interested.

Wir waren zu acht in dem sehr schönen Haus. Nahezu alles perfekt und hochwertig (Einrichtung, Räume, Ausstattung innen)-wir hatten eine herrliche Zeit-völlig unverständlich hingegen die lieblose, teils runtergekommene Außengestaltung (bröckelnde Hausfassade-sah auf den Bildern alles top aus-in echt nicht, kaputte, alte Sonnenliegen, uralte wackelige Holzstühle, die kurz vor dem Auseinanderfallen sind. Zudem gab es kein einziges Gewürz, kein Salz, keine Spülmaschinentabs, Toilettenpapier, Duschzeug, Müllbeutel-alles Pfennigbeträge, die aber verärgern, wenn man sich selbst drum kümmern muss-bei dem Tagespreis wirklich sehr merkwürdig.

Peace and quiet, large bedrooms, with en-suite in all, comfy and cosy, plenty room for kids to explore the surroundings .it certainly suited our needs.Thank you easyvillas. Lacks uk tv channels

Spacious property

House: -Very spacious, there were rooms we barely got to use (dining room and living room). -Beautiful huge updated bathrooms, very clean, great hot water, however you are not supposed to flush your toilet paper and there was only a half roll of toilet paper in each (no soap, not even a small starting kit, no shampoo, no toilet paper or facial tissue, no extra trash bag. -Getting out to the roof deck is a bit cumbersome through the bedroom and since there was no furniture there we never really did. -The kitchen had everything needed, however, both coffee makers were broken (not a single use of coffee, tea, salt, dish soap...completely sterile empty kitchen). -You have to take your trash to the next town to dispose of - it was a 2 minute drive, not a huge deal. -High-quality white towels. No pool towels. Plenty kitchen towels -There is a dishwasher, washer and dryer but no detergent (didn't expect more than a single-use pod, but there wasn't even that) Neighborhood -There isn't a single house around so it is very quiet. -Pollensa and grocery store is 5 min by car. -Cyclist: close to A1, easy ride in ride out ! Communication: -Prompt professional email communication, replyed to concerns in less than a day.
