About this property

Interesting solution at the gates of the Sorrento peninsula, a few km from the excavations of Pompeii and the island of Capri.
The apartment, located on the first floor of a building built in 1800 and expertly renovated, enjoys a magnificent view of the Gulf of Castellammare di Stabia in a hilly position with respect to the inhabited center. Very close to the Roman villas of Stabia and the motorway junction. The accommodation has 7 beds divided into three rooms, two of which with double bed and private bathroom and one of about 60 square meters with double bed, single bed, kitchenette, bathroom, fireplace and panoramic terrace. Guests also have ample parking, wi fi and a common refreshment area located on the ground floor.

La Magnolia B&B

The host Mauro responded within minutes of all communication I sent him. He speaks beautiful Italian and enunciates well. His English and that of his friend Silvia are sufficient for anyone who doesn't speak Italian. The property was clean; the beds were most comfortable; and the property quiet and private. The property is within walking distance of the Castellammare di Stabia train station but the first portion is on the road where there is no sidewalk or wide shoulder so one must walk against traffic. This wouldn't be good for children or the elderly so plan on taking your car into the train station and park in town. Mauro had ample parking for vehicles in the gated property and he offered us to fill a sack full of Sorrento lemons. I would stay here again, most certainly, if I return to this area of Sorrento. Mauro's recommendation for the Holiday Pizzeria was a fantastic one. We did not order the pizza; however, we saw that there were trays and trays of them being consumed. Instead we ordered pasta and meat dishes and all were properly portioned and quite tasty. We requested that the waiter bring us 4 different Neapolitan desserts and we were pleasantly surprised. This restaurant is so much more than a pizzeria and the interior and covered garden area are inviting.
