Sid and Zeeta are great hosts and full of helpful information
We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed it very much! We loved the stunning view on the lake from our appartement and the lake itself with the canoes and fishes. The possibility to go swimming in the pool every day was great!
I can totally recommend this place. The owners were super friendly and made us feel like home. We enjoyed being close to the sea, lovely french markets and so many interesting sites to visit! Really one of the best holiday appartements I ever had!

Centrale verwarming is seizoensgebonden.

Jederzeit wieder!

Sehr netter Empfang! Das Haus hatte alles, was man braucht.
A découvrir !

Amazing!
We had a fabulous time! Slept with the curtains open to ensure we didn't miss the sunrise over the lake each morning and watched the sunset from the patio to the rear of the property. What more could you want?

Great holiday in a perfect cottage and location
This was our second stay in Les Chardonnerets and it was every bit as enjoyable as the first. The standard of accommodation is excellent: spotlessly clean, extremely well equipped, very comfortable seating and bed and a lovely private garden. The location is very quiet, relaxing and the view from the lounge and bedroom are fantastic being straight over the lake and countryside. There is plenty to do in the area without having to drive very far: beaches, walks in nearby woods or further afield, cycling on the cycle paths or very quiet roads, D-Day sites and museums to visit, little villages to explore, gardens, Tatihou Island and excellent restaurants within easy driving. The swimming pool is just seconds walk from the cottage in a sheltered courtyard where it is warm and perfect even if there is a breeze blowing. The owners, Sid and Zeena, are extremely helpful and friendly but certainly not intrusive. We intend to return for a third visit which must be a recommendation in itself!

Wonderful
Quiet possibly the best place we have ever stayed. The accommodation is beautifully furnished and finished to a very high standard. The view from the bedroom window looking across the lake is stunning and the whole place is so tranquil. Spent a few days fishing the lake which contains roach, rudd, tench, pike among other species. The fish we caught were in superb condition. The swimming pool was a godsend in the beautiful weather we had. Sid, Zena and Luke were really helpful and welcoming. We liked it so much we booked for next year before we left. We cannot recommend Pont D'Albart enough.

Perfection
We spent a fantastic week here in May. A perfect base for exploring Normandy. The accommodation was better than described, amazingly clean, with lots of space, a private back garden with barbecue, a communal pool and private lake for sunny days and a games room with table tennis and table football for not so sunny days! A field to play football for the children (and dads!!), and plenty of places to walk or ride bikes. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend a visit. It is quite isolated so a car is a must, but to be honest it's such an idyllic spot we found it an effort to drag ourselves away for the day!
