Gite Beauvais, beautifully renovated house, heated pool, Vendee/Deux Sevres area

Gite Beauvais is a beautiful classic French farm house renovated to a very high standard, set in 2.5 acres of garden.
The property is situated in a small hamlet surrounded by acres of well-tended arable land, the many farm tracks between the fields are ideal for some lovely walks (about an hour to the nearest bar/restaurant) especially if you have dogs.

The ground floor of the property is all on one level and therefore suitable for wheelchair users. Please contact us for more details.

The house comprises of a stunning fully equipped kitchen/dinning living space (60m2) with a vaulted ceiling, a further living/games room (40m2) also with a vaulted ceiling, utility room with 2 washing machines, 5 bedrooms upstairs and 1 bedroom downstairs, 2 bath/shower rooms upstairs and 1 wet room downstairs, an outside covered dining area with built in BBQ, a 10x5m in ground heated swimming pool (open May to September weather dependent) Diving is not permitted in the pool. 260m2 terraced/decked area and enclosed gardens ideal for a game of football, cricket or rounders.

wow!!! what a great find , everything you could want, like a home from home! clean, comfortable, amazing pool!! wonderful greeting from Sarah and Tom they could not have been more helpful , The local area is fantastically french with great local pattiserrie and crepes restaraunt We booked this very last minute but can honestly say this was possibly our best ever family trip to date i can not leave this review without also saying a big thankyou to trigger our newly adopted dog!! if you have the chance to book this amazing gite do not delay!!!

What a wonderful holiday home. Pool, house, facilities, cleanliness - everything is all you could wish for. The house is in a quiet location - but this did not affect us at all. The kids loved the bike ride to the local boilangeries in the mornings. The pool and outdoor area are amazing. Plenty of things do to around. Niort, La Eochelle and Ile de Re were among our favourites. We were met by Sarah, the owner, who was very helpful and friendly, it was also not a problem to contact her during the week. A fabulous holiday. Children’s ages range from 11 to 16 and there was not one “I’m bored”. An all round winner. I would recommend to everyone.

Where do i start about this wonderful place.... The accommodation is spacious , clean and not like any rental you will find. The bedrooms are beautiful and on arrival hard to decide which one to have as they are all equally nice. Bathroom are equipped and decorated to a high standard as is the whole house. In the kitchen you will find everything you will ever need and there is plenty of cutlery, pot and pans etc. There wasn't one single thing that i though "oh wish i had that "... The living quarters downstairs is extremely comfortable and the games room is kitted out with everything .. You will never get bored if the weather is bad. Then we come to the outside space again this was just the cherry on the cake - lots of space and a great bbq area - we ate outside every evening even when it was slightly cooler. The pool was crystal clear and is huge.. To top all this your back garden is acres of greenery and your neighbours are 7 beautiful horses. This really is an amazing find and Sarah and Tom are the nicest people you will ever come across ... If you book this Gite believe me you will not be disappointed as we are extremely fussy and this place just ticks all the boxes... Thank you Sarah and Tom for letting us have your home for the week you can see you have put in a lot of hard work and you should be very proud xx
