Mission Beach Penthouse located on the 3rd floor (nobody above you / high ceilings) can sleep up to 6. Private staircase and elevator. Completely remodeled by a well know decorator- belongs on the cover of Restoration Hardware! NEW furniture and right on the beach- cross street York.

No hotel can beat this property in price, view and location. Check out the pictures to fully appreciate the completely refurbished (Kitchen, Bath and furniture) unit and its view. We are right on the beach. From your panoramic window, enjoy the volleyball matches right out front, dolphins, surfers, windsurfing, sunsets and people watching.

The price is a bargain when you can sleep 6 (Two King Beds and one couches that convert to a Queen bed in the closed off living room area.

The kitchen includes all new appliances and is fully equipped to handle even a Thanksgiving dinner! There is a Ralphs Super Market and CVS just a couple blocks north on Mission Beach Blvd. Cook in and/or enjoy the abundance of restaurants in the immediate neighborhood.

Mission Beach is named Southern California’s top beach year after year! It has a beach boardwalk that runs for miles. Along this beach walk there are shops, restaurants, bars, Crystal Pier for fishing, volleyball courts, Bicycle and beach equipment rental shops, not to forget Belmont Park with roller coaster rides and other attractions for the whole family.

The unit has 3 large 4K HD televisions, internet access, beach chairs, beach toys and boogie boards. There are plenty of beach towels and bath towels for your use.

YES we have Air Conditioning and Heating in EVERY room!

There is a large oceanfront patio with tables, benches and Gas BBQ. Additional "On the Boardwalk" seating is also available.
The property has assigned parking for one vehicle.

You will be the King of the Beach staying at one of our properties.

We totally enjoyed our stay! The view was amazing and the AC worked flawlessly, so glad because it was a hot week we were there. Beds were comfortable and showers were hot. All the TV were user friendly and all appliances worked well.

Had a few problems nothing to mention cause the host did excellent on fixing them and over the thanksgiving holiday 2025 was able to make sure are stay was excellent even having a new born grand baby that was with mom dad and little sis the day of leaving lost the rental key so had to request few extra hours i was very very much in love with the view and the sound of the ocean anyone wanting a wonderful beach vacation stay i did my stay for 10 days and what ive seen of the other units there gona be just as nice i can keep bragging but no one will regret there stay guest of unit 5 Nov 21 to December 1

The views were amazing and loved that the property was right on the beach! The place was clean & had everything that we needed! There was even an elevator, which we didn’t expect & made going up and down with a stroller that much easier. It was really convenient that there was a parking spot, but if you have a bigger car…it will be tight.

This place is located at a great area. It is right on the beach and close to all the food places and shops. It was very clean and had all dishes and utensils needed for cooking. The WiFi was on and off but it allowed more family time. We would definitely recommend this place.

Maurice Maio, a long time San Diego resident and well known successful businessman, started the San Diego Beach King Vacation Rental company in 2000. His first property was the Sleek Retreat purchased in 2000 which is the recipient of many awards including "House of the Year" and "HGTV House Hunter's On Vacation" series.

Mr. Maio took over the family plumbing, heating & air business at age 19 after his losing his father. Starting with 1 truck and no trades knowledge, the company grew to over 50 in less than 5 years and was modeled throughout the world thru the Maio Success System. Mr. Maio developed many innovated business practices and has hosted over 1200 seminars worldwide. He sold his companies to a wall street firm and began his vacation rental business.

Since it's inception, The San Diego Beach King has offered it's clients first class service at reasonable rental rates. Each property is carefully maintained and decorated with style. The Maio team runs smoothly and you'll see him smiling visiting the properties often. He loves Mission Beach, knows where to eat, where to rent, where to surf. Your vacation is his vacation and you'll see it when renting one of his properties that he owns or manages.
