Cozy Barnegat Light Beach Cottage

Our centrally located 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage offers a fantastic home base to experience the best of Barnegat Light. Our home is a short walk or bike ride away from shops, restaurants, wonderful beaches and the Barnegat Bay.
A number of activities and adventures are right at your doorstep. Take a stroll around historic Viking Village and see the commercial fishing vessels with their daily catch, walk the stairs up to the top of Old Barney lighthouse and take in the seagull views of neighboring Island Beach State Park and the town itself, dip your toes in the ocean along the white sand beaches and catch a summertime sunset at the Bay's edge.
Ready for a break? Head back home and sit out on our shaded outside deck. Set the lounge chairs in the back yard and take in a starry sky.

INSIDE THE HOUSE
Comfortable furniture featured in an open living space with light hardwood floors. Catch your favorite TV shows and movies on Roku and Netflix. Central air keeps you cool in the summer and French doors lead to the back deck for a breath of seashore air. There is also a gas grill and outdoor shower available for use.
The stocked kitchen has wood countertops, open shelves and plenty of cabinets. Meals can be shared at the table or for added company a table on the outside deck.
Enjoy the master bedroom with a queen size bed. The guest room comes with a full size bed.

We absolutely love this cottage! It is perfectly located in Barnegat - our favorite part of LBI because of how beautiful and chill it is. We also love staying in Barnegat, eating at Daymark on our first night and then biking to get ice cream at Poppy's every night after dinner. Christopher's cottage is also great for cooking with a recently renovated kitchen, and then eating outside on its huge deck. Inside, the cottage is so cute and comfortable and feels like home. It's - no question - our favorite place to stay on LBI!

Very relaxing n in a good spot if you’re looking to avoid the big crowds. Host was great alittle trouble with the AC. But as soon as we relaid the message he was right out n got it fixed. Was available for anything we needed. Will definitely stay here again

Christopher's house was bigger than the pictures made it seem, and our stay was excellent overall. Between the renovated kitchen, the deck and grill, and the lawn area (rare in LBI), this house had everything we needed to have an extremely memorable family vacation. We hope to come back and enjoy it again next year!

We LOVE this part of LBI and Christofer and Ashley were lovely hosts! We were so close to both the bay and ocean and out every day! The house was well equipped and the backyard and outdoor shower were the highlights!

We loved this rental. The hosts truly made the home extra cozy. We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. Super relaxing atmosphere and neighborhood. We loved the back deck to sit and have a drink on at night. Kitchen was also laid out well and had everything we needed. Outdoor shower was a nice addition as well. Wonderful stay overall, a top experience of ours with vacation rentals (and we have stayed in a lot!). Hope to return one day.

A step back in time

My husband and I needed a quick getaway this summer because we were not able to our usual long term rental. This cute cottage was within walking distance to many things and it was just what we needed. It was very comfortable and clean. The hosts were very accommodating. Charming and cozy little cottage

We loved the unique character of this property, especially the beautiful, fenced-in, grassy backyard. It's very rare to have a magical secret garden all to yourself on LBI. We loved sitting on the deck and throwing the ball for our dog. We also love an outdoor shower! The location in Barnegat Light is quiet and the beach is gorgeous. If you value quirky charm then this is the place for you.

Barnegat Getaway

The rain and winds from the remnants of Tropical Storm Ophelia never dampened our spirits. We were able to walk on the beach, climb the lighthouse and fish the inlet. We spent three great days - too bad it had to end but it was just a quick getaway. Already thinking about a return.
