2 Brooks s bright and spacious. The main living area is bathed in light from the sliding glass doors that bookend the cabin. Fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds and a short walk to town with beautiful views in a lovely setting.

Easy walking distance to town, you can go either direction from the driveway, and enjoy the restaurants, shops and bars without the hassle of parking, Hiking trails are nearby if high country adventure is a passion. Remember to register for hikes in the National Forest at the Ranger Station before heading out.

2 Brooks has a lockbox to make things easy for everyone, so check-in is flexible if you decide pack the most of your trip in and head up after work. Your access code will be active the day of your arrival through departure. Your access code will send three days before arrival.

2 Brooks Idyllwild Vacation Cabin has been a family cabin for over 25 years. It was built in 1964 and was expanded and remodeled in 1994. It's architecturally interesting design caught Hollywood's eye and the cabin was used as the primary location for a movie titled "Don't Look Back" in 2013.

Sleeping accommodations include a King bed in the master, a queen bed in the upstairs loft with twin pull-out.

Wake up in the morning to beautiful views of trees surrounding you. Have your cup of Joe snuggled in front of the fireplace or al fresco on one of the three decks.

If you want to cook during your Idyllwild adventure there is a grill for searing up the perfect steak. A full kitchen and large dining room table lets you create and enjoy a holiday (or any day) feast with family and friends.

Connect your phone to the Soundbar and kick back and enjoy. If games are more to your liking, there is a selection of family-friendly games, cards, poker chips and puzzles to while away the time.

It is a place to enjoy spending holidays, summer and winter, and it holds many happy memories for all who stay there. In winter it is a great place to relax with a cup of something warm and read a book in front of the fire. In the summer, the grand pine trees shade the house and keep it cool and comfortable without need for AC.

2 Brooks is located walking distance to town, just 1/4 mile, in a secluded location. Just sure to save some energy for the journey back as coming home is uphill. Live it up in town without worrying about having to drive home later, as there is no Uber or Lyft in our mountains.

𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐦𝐬

We've collaborated with our cleaning crew to follow best practices for our industry. To keep our guests and staff safe, we are bleaching linens, towels, and triple-sheeting bed comforters.
We have also sourced Health Technology Triple Two disinfectant cleaner that has been pre-approved by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for use against COVID-19 for disinfecting and cleaning all surfaces, especially commonly handled items such as tables, hard-backed chairs, doorknobs, light switches, remotes, handles, desks, toilets, and sinks.
We also have antibacterial hand and dish soap for your use.

𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐞-𝐀𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦
We require our own Rental Agreement and Pre-Arrival form to be filled out before arrival. Riverside County also requires that we collect a copy of your Driver's License or other government ID, the pre-arrival form will have a place for you to upload a photo of your ID. We will send you these items upon accepting your booking.

𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐑𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐬
✤ 𝑵𝒐 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒓 𝑼𝒏𝒓𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝑮𝒖𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒔. This is NOT a party house. Parties will result in immediate eviction. Please respect city-wide quiet hours from 10pm to 7am daily. Riverside County requires us to have a noise decibel monitor that will alert us if high noise levels are sustained for a long period of time. The monitor does not record any noise, it only measures decibels so your privacy is maintained.
✤ 𝑵𝒐 𝑺𝒎𝒐𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈. No smoking anywhere on the property, inside or outside. We reserve the right to retain some or all of your security deposit should this rule be broken.
