Fabulous Villa

A very comfortable villa in a spectacular location , at the top of the hill, ensuring very pleasant temperatures and amazing views. We had a great time both at the villa and exploring nearby towns, villages, beaches.

Beautiful Villa on top of the mountain

We had a most pleasant stay at the Villa, myself, my husband and 3 young children. The pool was well used and loved as there is a more shallow area. The multiple terraces provided views for days! Follow the directions and arrive via Cherethiana (also an adorable town usually providing our nightly entertainment with the music reaching out terrace). Located close to many sights to explore and then to come back home and watch the sunset. The kids loved finding the house on the hill driving back to it every day. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Lovely villa with great view

Very comfortable and well equipped villa in a small village in the hills. Excellent pool and outdoor area, with a selection of comfortable outdoor seating areas and sun beds. The views from the villa are spectacular in nearly every direction, and the villa has been built to make the most of its elevated position. The area is extremely quiet, but Kissamos is within a 15 min drive. Chania is about 30 minutes away, and the lovely beaches at Falasarna and Elafonisi are 30 mins and about an hour respectively. Communications with the owner was very efficient, and Antonis was very helpful and responsive during our stay. If you want peace and quiet and spectacular views of the mountains and the sea, I would thoroughly recommend this villa.

Maison au top avec vue magnifique !

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette maison au calme tout en haut de la colline au milieu des oliviers et avec une vue à 360° imprenable sur la baie de Kissamos et les montagnes alentours. Quelques degrés en moins aussi ce qui ne nous a déplu vu la chaleur du moment. Un plus aussi : la grande piscine qui permet de faire plus que 3 brasses pour en faire la longueur ! super agréable. Plusieurs terrasses pour profiter du soleil ou de l ombre ou de la vue selon l’humeur. Et tout ça sans être trop éloigné de la ville et des commerces, à quelques kms en voiture. Vraiment vous pouvez réserver les yeux fermés !

Merveilleuses vacances dans cette belle villa.

Notre hôte Antonis nous a reçu dans sa belle villa très bien équipée et décorée. Des fruits et des boissons nous étaient offerts. La piscine est très agréable. La villa est dans une grande oliveraie aucun bruit seul le "cricri" des cigales. La villa bénéficie d'une magnifique vue panoramique sur la baie de Kissamos. A kissamos vous trouverez tous les commerces alimentaires, restaurants, bars..... De très belles ballades : Elafonisi, Falasarna, Lagon de Balos, Kédradosas, Lac de Kournas, Paléochora, La Canée, Rethymon.... Ne pas suivre google maps mais prendre la direction de Chérétiana puis les panneaux villa Kalliani car maps vous emmène sur des chemins très peu praticable. Nous remercions Antonis et son épouse pour les cadeaux qui nous ont beaucoup touché. Nous espérons pouvoir revenir un jour dans cette belle villa. Vacances du 16 juillet au 29 juillet 2021.

As Beautiful As We'd Imagined

Our time at Villa Kalliani lived up to all of our expectations. It's a beautiful, secluded house in a magnificent setting in the mountains among the olive groves. The entire property is as private as described. The only sounds are the occasional rooster crowing or dog barking. We could not be happier or more satisfied with our decision to stay here. Furthermore, Antonis is a wonderful and caring host. He met us at the house even though we arrived very late after getting lost (more below) and was kind and gracious the whole time. We do have to mention that finding the property can be challenging, especially at night. Do NOT rely entirely on Google Maps because it will take you on dirt paths through olive groves that are not suitable for cars. Instead, map to the tiny village of Cherethiana (Χαιρεθιανά) and follow signs to Kalliani Villa. The roads are steep and windy, but are not heavily traveled and the drive is absolutely worth it. We hope to stay at Villa Kalliani again on our next visit to Crete. And there will definitely be more visits to Crete in our future.

Perfect Location on the Northwest of Crete

Close to Chania and to the best beaches in Crete. We enjoyed Villa Kalliani very much. The views are extraordinary, the pool is just the right size, the place is spotless and comfortable and very quiet. The WiFi works very well. Antonis is attentive and responsive. It’s a great location from which to explore the island. I would highly recommend to friends.

La Villa

Siamo appena tornati da due settimane favolese nella Villa Kalliani, innanzitutto è doveroso sottolineare la splendida accoglienza avuta dai proprietari persone squisite che fanno di tutto per metterti a Tuo agio e per aiutarti per ogni necessità. Le foto che vedete rispecchiano fedelmente ciò che troverete, le stanze tutte ben curate e pulitissime, la piscina e soprattutto la vista sul golfo di Kissamos è strepitosa. Il Luogo è isolato immerso in una collina piena di ulivi, l'unico rumore che sentirete è il canto delle cicale...per mangiare nelle vicinanze è pieno di "Taverne" a Voi la scelta di quale provare tutte offrono un buon prodotto e l'ospitalità che troverete sarà veramente unica; market e supermarket sono a 5-10 minuti di automobile assolutamente necessaria per soggiornare a Villa Kalliani. La spiaggia più vicina tra quelle più famose è quella di Falasarna a circa 14 km, a 45 minuti vi è la bellissima Elafonisi oppure Paleochora. La splendida città di Chania di cui vi consigliamo la visita (il Porto Veneziano e la Old Town meritano più di un giro). I bambini hanno vissuto la Villa come a casa propria e la bellissima piscina permetteva di rimanerci per ore senza annoiarsi, di notte il cielo stellato rintempra il cuore e la mente.
