'Castle View', 5 Malin Court has been awarded a 4* from Visit Wales for its high standard. It is a 5 minute walk down a steep hill to the sandy beach, seaside village and picturesque harbour of Saundersfoot. It is opposite the famous St Bride's Hotel.

It is a spacious ground floor apartment with 2 bedrooms and one bathroom, lounge and dining area, fully equipped kitchen and picture windows. The property also offers a secure private garden, beautifully maintained and a patio with sea views to enjoy breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening. It also has free parking for one car and a few hours additional guest parking for another car.

The quaint harbour village of Saundersfoot has a spread of lovely shops, cafes, bars, restaurants and is an ideal base for walking the coastal path. Head east through the old tunnels to the rugged coast at Wiseman's Bridge and onto the open sands of Amroth, or head West, an 8 minute drive to Tenby. Saundersfoot is within easy reach of local theme parks and family attractions like Oakwood and Folly Farm.

Ideally the property sleeps 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults (1 bedroom has a double bed and the 2nd bedroom has a full size single bed with a full size trundle bed underneath).

Kitchen: electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine.
Bathroom: bath with shower over, basin, WC.

Hosts were very welcoming and the place was lovely, with everything we needed and more, plus more space than we expected. The extra games and books were lovely too. The only problem was the bathroom door, (which they did warn could be stiff), was catching and very difficult for an adult to open, so locked children in completely.

A fantastic little place to call home away from home.We only spent a few days here, but was more than worth it.It was comfy, light and airy. a 5min walk and you're at the harbour/beach front. What more could you ask for?

Nice apartment, 5min walk to town centre.Lovely kitchen with all amenities, comfrey beds with clean duvets and soft fluffy towels. Lots of hot water and outdoor seating. Would recommend and stay there again. I had a medical issue and had to go to Carnarvon hospital Jenny called me a couple of times to check I was okay nice gesture from owners.

Nice flat near beach

A nice ground floor flat with a partial view of the beach. Good for a short stay. The beach is great for kids and there are plenty of bars and restaurants in the town.

Pretty poor, we couldn’t check in early even though the room was free for sometime before we got there as it took 24 hours to heat the place up, plus on arrival they had put wet towels on the main bed so the bedsheets were cold and wet, when asked we were told they can change them on Boxing Day which was over a day to wait. Also on arrival the smoke alarm was going off and was advised to remove the battery. All in all I wouldn’t recommend as not only that the bathroom still had lots of mold everywhere which could have been easily cleaned.

Great property

The location of the property was easy to find and its only a 5 minute walk to the harbour. It was very clean inside and even had tea and coffee in the cupboard and some Welsh cakes on the side which is a nice welcome. The beds were very comfy as were the sofas and dining chairs. Would highly recommend and will stay there again.

Nice early spring break

Why they chose this property

After my Aunt passed away, we wondered what to do with the legacy she left us. She always loved her holidays by the sea and so we decided to buy something she would have enjoyed. This is a wonderful, private apartment by the sea. We don't have to use the car all week if we don't want to. We can walk, rest, enjoy the local restaurants, swim in the sea and sail all within striking distance of Cardiff where we live. We hope you enjoy it too!
