In the heart of the city

The apartment is a very cozy place, has large windows that allow the passage of natural light to the interior, necessary utensils so you can cook and a balcony from where you can observe the city. The bedroom has bedding, closet and blankets so you can rest at ease, the kitchen is equipped with accessories, utensils and pots necessary for you to cook, also has a sofa bed if you want to accommodate 3 people.
The TV room has a sofa bed and cable TV, the whole apartment has air conditioning.
You can enjoy taking the water from the tube, the water in our area comes directly from the springs found in the foothills of the Arenal Volcano.
In its surroundings you can find restaurants, pharmacies, supermarkets, you can go shopping or make some kind of tour, wherever you want to go we also take you, if you want to organize your stay.
Inside the apartment you will find soap sinks, dish soap, kitchen cloth, sugar, coffee, and tea.

This place was perfect! Great space and location! The owner was super communicative and gave great instructions. As other reviews say, due to the great location in the city, it can get loud at night althought this wasn't a problem for us, just to give a heads up.The only small issue was the bathroom. The sink wasn't cleaned properly, there was dust/dirt collected on it. The toilet also ran, we had to manually lift the lid and make sure the plug fell back properly to stop it.

Costa Rica First Trip

La Fortuna was a great place to start our Costa Rica experience. This good value apartment is right on the city edge so had great access to shops, restaurants and access to Arenal experiences.

Short Stay in La Fortuna

The apartment was very spacious, clean, safe and had several kitchen appliances. It is walking distance from several restaurants, shops and a park in the middle of town. Rebecca was very accommodating and responsive before and during our stay and even gave us recommendations for events around town for New Year’s Eve.

central location

The apartment was clean and comfortable, the kitchen easily accommodated my dietary needs. It was particularly helpful having ice available, as I rolled my ankle the first day and needed to ice the swelling. The grocery stores were within walking distance, the town was nice to stroll thru and Rebecca was always available and helpful with my questions. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who would be staying in La Fortuna

Arriving after a long day of travel, the instructions given were a mismatch of photos that included lockboxes that didn't even exist on the property. The codes given to get into the lockboxes that did exist didn't work. The wifi suggested didn't exist. The TV didn't work. No comforter on the bed. Took an hour to finally get into the unit, which involved the assistance of the neighbor. Once we got the code to get in, the following morning we left for coffee, only to return and learn the code once again didn't work and we were locked out. We missed our appointment for our morning tour which was expensive and incredibly frustrating.

Las cajas de seguridad para las llaves sí se encuentran en la propiedad y son el sistema habitual de acceso para nuestros huéspedes. Sin embargo, el teclado digital de la puerta principal —un sistema recientemente instalado y previamente probado— presentó una falla inesperada justo en el momento de su llegada. En cuanto nos contactaron, atendimos la situación de inmediato y logramos brindarles acceso. Posteriormente, el sistema fue revisado y ajustado para garantizar que no vuelva a ocurrir algo similar. Lamentamos mucho que esta situación haya afectado sus planes de esa mañana. Nuestro compromiso es ofrecer una experiencia cómoda y sin contratiempos, y tomamos muy en serio este tipo de comentarios para seguir mejorando. Agradecemos que hayan compartido su experiencia.

Enjoyable, but could use improvements.

Rebeca is very friendly and helpful whenever she is able. An example is that she brought ear plugs to us to help withstand the street noise. Location very good. Many restaurants nearby, park nearby, easy access to center/business area of city. The apartment itself: Situated on a very busy street which results in loud traffic noise, especially at night. Many tiny ants in eating area. Base of bed way too large for the mattress, resulting in repeated feet pain caused by bumping into the base. Overall, we enjoyed our experience in la fortuna.

It was nice to host you, to be lovely people, I only recommend reading the description of the apartment in detail, just like the photographs that are on the page. Being located in the middle of the city will be constant noise, mainly from cars and motorcycles that pass through the street or some holiday in the village as the day you requested me to hear from the headphones. Fortune is a rainforest, although in the city are many trees, animals and insects, the apartment is constantly fumigated but still suddenly appears. In the photo of the room you could see the style of the bed as it clearly appears here.
