The Neighborhood:
The type of people who live in the Diagonal Mar area are generally upper and middle class. Many of the homes in the zone are spacious and luxurious with stunning views over the mediterranean and the local park.
It's a neighbourhood that's right beside its very own beach and is well-connected via public transport with the city centre. People are attracted by its wide streets, Llevant beach (relatively calm compared to the beaches of the city centre), and Diagonal Mar Park.
The Shopping Centre Diagonal Mar is the largest in Barcelona and 10th in Spain. It is a unique space where you will find everything, from "day to day" products to the latest in fashion and design (Zara, H&M, Miss Sixty, and Desigual). There are plenty of places to eat at and you can catch the latest films at the cinema (but only in Spanish). All right beside the sea!
Most of the centre is closed on Sundays, but the restaurants and entertainment areas are open every day.
Other Things to Note:
TOURIST TAX: Mandatory and imposed by the Catalan government of 9.50€ per night. This is to be charged at the time of check-in to each guest aged 17 and above for a maximum of 7 nights.
LATE CHECK-IN:
For check-ins from 8pm to 10pm: €40
For check-ins from 10pm to 11pm: €60
EARLY CHECK-IN: (before 3pm) Subject to availability and there is a €40 early check-in fee. Please note that in case the apartment is being cleaned, the early check-in fee still applies, and you can ONLY leave your luggage in the apartment, take the keys and come back when the cleaning is done (around 3pm).
LATE CHECK-OUT: (after 11am) Subject to availability and there is 20€ per hour fee. If you would like to have a late checkout, you need to inform us, and we will let you know if it's possible.
PETS: Your pet is welcome to stay with you. Please inform us in advance and note that the following charges will apply at the time of check-in:
-A €150 security deposit, fully refundable as long as there are no damages in the apartment.
-A €50 pet fee for extra cleaning.
If you are traveling with more than one pet, please contact us before booking.
Interaction with Guests:
We will check you in personally and explain around the apartment, answer any questions you might have. After the check-in the apartment is yours for the duration of your stay! Of course we will still be available 24/7 for any questions you might have, any help you might need.

This was a nice place delivered as presented. Good support prior to and during our stay. Right across the road from a very nice beach. Easy to get cabs on the street outside.
The unit was clean, enjoyed our stay. Unit needs to be spruced up. New paint job, not like pictures show. Four of us for 2 days and only given one towel each unit sleeps 4-6 guests and only 2 slice toaster, and no regular coffee maker, couldnt figure out how to use fancy machine
Sehr schönes Appartement, für uns als Familie super Lage, nah am Strand. Supermarkt um die Ecke. Starbucks gabs auch in der Nähe. Schon teuer aber das ist halt Barcelona. Gute U-Bahn Anbindung. Super Restaurants Richtung Poblenou.
