We had a great family trip. The house was perfect for our group of 9. The kitchen was well set up, family area was relaxing, appreciated the pool table, bikes, and easy access to both Sun River and the Deschutes River. Everyone agreed it was a fun and relaxing weekend in a beautiful home.

Very comfortable and functional house for a group
Our group of friends loves this house, with well-separated sleeping arrangements and a nice central living space. We'll be back for future years!
Every year we do memory makers for our kids and their families. Picking SunRiver and staying at this VRBO will bring back wonderful memories for years to come!! Grandkids were asking to return next year as we headed home from our stay!

The house is well stocked with everything you need to cook and entertain. It's perfect for a multi family vacation. The living/game/kitchen areas are open and large enough for everyone to gather with plenty of room. Morning coffee in the hot tub and late night games of pool were the perfect way to start and end the busy day. The management company was amazing as well! The hot tub ran out of chlorine and they had someone at the house within 15 minutes and it was taken care of immediately. We will be booking this house again for next year.

Just okay
House was okay. Appliances great. Some light bulbs out throughout home. Seems that there may have been a pump out on hot tub as only half of the jets worked. I also thought I had read that the kitchen was stocked with various spices. However sugar, cinnamon, salt, pepper and garlic powder were the only spices. I have stayed at a few vrbo rentals and this was by far just an "okay "experience.

Thank you for your review. We take great pride in our Sunriver vacation home, and have contacted our property managers who have addressed the items that you mentioned. We only wish you would have contacted us immediately and provided us the opportunity to take care of those items during your visit so you would have had a 5 star stay similar to most other guests at our home. Have a Happy New Year!
Thank you

This house was well appointed for families with lots of kids as there are a lot of bedrooms. It was clean and well put together. I would suggest to the owners to come into it and give it a little TLC. The carpet was torn and dirty in spots, some windows were actually falling apart and there was absolutely zero water pressure in the kitchen and the bathroom sinks. I didn’t want to call management on Christmas Eve or day nor did I want my family time interrupted with repair people coming and going while we were there. Hopefully they can repair and fix what needs to be before the next renters come in. We still enjoyed our time there and hope others get to as well.
The pool table was the biggest hit! The house was well laid out, plenty of room to gather or have some quiet time. Well stocked kitchen, we were able to all help with cooking( and cleaning) without bumping into each other. Things just seemed easier and chill in this house. We enjoyed coffee on the quiet deck with the local herd of deer. My dogs enjoyed watching the deer from the gorgeous windows facing the golf course. Another plus, the house has ac but the downstairs bedrooms were always cool which is what I love especially after a day of hiking or playing in the hot hot sun. We also used the hot tub to sooth my old muscles and played lots of card games on the deck. Great experience. Will request to stay here again.
Our family had a wonderful experience, this cabin was perfect for our stay. The perks were the SHARC passes and bikes which accommodated our large group. Lots of space, large open kitchen and wrap around outdoor patio. The hot tub was a nice touch and well maintained. We would stay here again!!
The home was perfect for our large family group. It was very comfortable with a kitchen big enough for several people to cook at the same time. The kids enjoyed the pool table and the bikes that were provided. It was close to the bike paths and not far from the Village Center.
This house is an excellent option to host a large group. We had 5 adults and 2 children and the bedrooms accommodated us nicely. Consider that 2 posted bedrooms are actually an open loft and the open game room so both have no privacy and will hear all activity in the home. We utilized the 4 bedrooms with doors and it suited us perfectly. The kitchen is well stocked; we hosted 19 for many meals over the 3 days and there was plenty of seating for our family reunion activities. We enjoyed the hot tub, BBQ, game room, TV area and outside deck so we had lots of options. Our other family members rented smaller homes and did not have hosting capabilities so beware that this house is a magnet if you have family or friends in the area. We loved our time there. The area was very quiet and we even enjoyed a visiting deer each evening - very up close and personal if we were outside. The rental came with 8 SHARC passes and there are several bicycles in the garage. When we arrived, the sliding screen to the deck was stuck but one of our family members had some WD-40 so we had it sliding in no time. However, the host was very responsive regarding the issue and would have addressed it if we hadn't fixed it ourselves. I highly recommend this property.
Good home for groups with children. No air conditioning.
The home is welled stocked. Open floor plan on first floor. Great location for bikers. Considering we were 10 people ( 6 children ), the decor is not new which was good for us. The pool table was a huge hit. The weather was very warm: end of July 100* +. Warning: The home is not air-conditioned. We worked through it using the plentiful fans provided. Ceiling fans would be helpful for these types of days. 8 Sharq passes is good. Good bikes to use. Helpful management company when we needed their assistance. Only two bathrooms if that matters. It worked for us. We will return and pray the weather is cooler.

About the host
Hosted by Andrew Hartland
Hello from the Hartland Family!
Why they chose this property
Our family has been visiting Sunriver since 1999, and it has become a home away from home. Sunriver is the optimal location for summer and winter activities. Every time someone visits for the first time we hear, "I had no idea what a perfect vacation location this is". We have always had the same experience and we wanted to own a home in this area. There are so many amazing things to do that we have always had great vacations. Kayaking, canoeing, and rafting, rock climbing, trail and road biking, swimming, and of course, golf, tennis and skiing! There is so much to do that everybody ends their vacation happy and feeling like they did something for themselves.
