The Manatee Bay home is an expansive, five-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath home located in the quiet neighborhood of Key Colony Beach. This ½ acre-secluded lot overlooks Shelter Bay, where you will find boats bustling in and out, and abundant sea and bird wildlife. This home has something for everyone in the family and offers plenty of room for the perfect Keys getaway. Relax in the screened-in porch while playing a fun game with the family, or hang around the dock area to catch fish.

All year around there is a $150 charge/week for pool/spa heat already included in the quoted reservation total.



Booking Policies:



Minimum Stay: A 7-night minimum stay is required by city regulations, with no exceptions. The city determines the maximum occupancy, and it cannot be exceeded, covering adults, children, and infants.



Cancellation Policy: We maintain a strict 60-day cancellation policy. If the cancellation is made at least 60 days before the arrival date, you can cancel your reservation and receive a full refund, excluding processing and admin fees. If you cancel within 60 days of the arrival date and we are able to secure another booking for the same time by opening the calendar, you will receive a full refund, minus processing and admin fees. If we are unable to secure another rental for the specified time, the deposit will be the only amount refunded.



Contract: Upon confirmation of your booking by our office, you will receive an Adobe E-Sign contract for signing. Once signed, the contract will be automatically returned to us.



Payment Options: The total reservation charges include credit card processing fees by default. We are happy to accept checks or EFT bank payments with no additional fees, and in those cases, the processing fees can be removed from your total once you confirm your preferred payment method. Credit card payments are subject to the following fees:

– Visa, MasterCard, and Discover incur a 3.5% processing fee (excluding taxes and deposit)

– American Express incurs an additional 0.99% fee (excluding taxes and deposit)

Ten of us came down for my sons 40th birthday and my wifes birthday. We had a wonderful time. The home, pool, hot tub, dock, putting green and tiki bar area were all amazing. We rented a 32 ft boat for fishing, snorkeling and sun set cruises. We would definitely stay here again but maybe in the winter next time. :)

Family Vacation

The property was in excellent shape and had many great amenities. The screened in pool area was wonderful and was used every day. The layout of the house was well thought out with a large kitchen opening to a combination dining/ family room. The bedrooms and bathrooms were well appointed and maintained. The only disappointment with the property was that the hot tub was full of green water when we arrived and, despite a visit from a pool maintanence person, the water remained cloudy for the duration of our visit.

The house was amazing, it had more than what we expected. It was very comfortable. If only the pool would have been heated from day one (unable to really utilize the pool due to it being freezing water then the weather) It would have been perfect vacation!

Perfect for 10 adults

We last visited the Keys about 15 years ago when our kids were younger. It was so much fun to return with them now that they’re all adults. The house met all our needs. Plenty of room to spread out and the kitchen was well appointed to prepare a meal for us all. The house is in a great location and being able to dock the boat right at the house was a huge plus! Also, just across the canal we could fuel the boat and purchase ice. Fun memories were made!

The covered pool area kept the bugs away for our little ones to swim in the evening. The rooms were spacious and loved the two levels to keep the families separated. Two sets of washer and dryers also was great for multiple families although we did notice a smell that transferred to our clothes so I would recommend they do maintenance. If I had to make a critique I would say the mattresses could use a upgrade as those were not very comfortable.

Good choice

Everything was great about the property except the bar-b-que was small and filthy. The downstairs bedroom window leaks and the water runs down the wall and puddles on the floor. The rainy and windy weather exposed both problems. The property manager was great and responsive - but the owner needs to fix both problems. If not they are going to have a mold and drywall problem.

The views are amazing, the extensive seawall was a great place to watch manatees, other boaters, fish, and paddle board. Two full sized fridges left ample space for al our food and drinks. The swimming pool was very deep, and the hot tub was a hit! Plenty of seating options to play cards, eat together, or just hang out with a drink under the tiki bar. Enjoyed, corn hole, Jenga, the ring toss, and various pool toys. THE A/C kept us very cool after a long day boating in the florida heat.

One never knows quite what you'll get renting online but this place exceeded our expectations. We were 2 families - 4 adults and 4 kids - but the layout allowed everyone to have ample space. Further the pool and waterfront location provided endless fun as did the tiki bar. We'd rented a boat and the dock is in great shape and protected. It all felt like our own private resort. The kitchen was well appointed, the beach towels were great, the club access a nice perk (though one we barely used). Everyone agreed it was a great place to call home for a few days and if we return to Marathon we'd want to book it again.

Enclosed pool, hot tub, and dining table. Lots of outdoor games that we really enjoyed. There were a couple of things that we didn’t like but are easily fixable. First would be blackout shades for the bedrooms. As soon as it starts getting light outside, you’re going to know. Second is the 0900 checkout. That’s way too early. The property management company was easy to deal with. We had a couple of issues and they quickly responded. Our family definitely recommends this house. We had a great time!!!

This home checked them all and was way above my expectations upon arrival. The owners have really done an excellent job on the layout. With a party of 10 this vacation, there was plenty of room to be together or get away for some peace and privacy. All the areas outside to sit for different vibes were incredible!!! The ability to rent a boat and gas up right next door was a bonus!! To view sunset and sunrise such a plus!! The home provided everything you need to get started (tp,pt,soap etc) having 2 washers and dryers, so awesome!!! Location perfect for shopping!!, very peaceful property!!, Loved the 2 tv's outside by pool and tiki. House was very clean!!! Mallorie and Riley were very prompt and kind for any questions we had, would definetly book this home again, Thank goodness for folks that share their piece of paradise with us, We greatly appreciate and respect the home as if it were ours for a week of vacation!!!! Beautiful!

We were 3 adult (45+) couples that stayed at this beautiful home on Key Colony. We were supposed to be 4 couples (things changed last minute) that's why we chose this home due to it's having 4 bedrooms with adult beds (not twins-even though this has home has a twin room) and a bath for everyone. Our criteria was enough bedrooms with privacy, bathrooms for each couple, waterfront with an open water view, easy access to Gulf & Atlantic, private pool, and a boat dock. The Manatee Bay home did not disappoint! The home is beautifully decorated with gorgeous views of the water from all rooms, except one bedroom. There is plenty of room to spread out. The pool is wonderful, clean and there's a large hot tub. Both got plenty of use. In fact, someone came during the week to check on both. There are plenty of TV's, that no one used! The well equipped kitchen is huge and has a very large island. An extra refrigerator is provided in the hallway leading to the door that goes to the tiki bar. There are 2 washers, 2 dryers, a bait freezer & so much more! This house is very large by the way! No complaints from anyone about the comfort of the beds. We rented a boat ( a must!) from Captain Hooks Marina and Dive Center. The boat & their service was great. If you plan on renting, make sure you do so in advance as things book quickly. We first reserved from Key Colony. Wouldn't recommend them, as they showed up with a boat with zip ties holding things together, buckets to sit on, etc. We thought about changing our week due to a potential hurricane. One couple lives in Pensacola, FL, and we own a home on Pensacola Beach. At the time, the storm was headed straight toward the Keys, even though it wasn't a hurricane yet & projected to turn toward Pensacola. We took the risk and are so glad that we did. We only had rain one afternoon. Of course the waters were murky and churned up until the last couple of days but that didn't stop us from having a wonderful time. Please keep the folks who were affected by Hurricane Laura in your thoughts, and if you can help in any way, do so.

Christmas in the Florida Keys

This property was awesome, just as it was advertised. It was perfect for our family of nine. The location was great. We loved sitting outside watching the boats go by. Also saw a manatee one morning. Also liked how close it was to restaurants and ice cream shops. Would look forward to staying here again.

It is perfect for large groups and the lanai is great for hanging out around the pool. We arrived later than planned and were surprised the bathrooms were not fully stocked with towels and toilet paper. This was our second trip to Manatee Bay so we didn't expect to go to the store that evening. The cleaning crew was not as thorough as last year. We found the kitchen counter was dirty under the coffee pot and water bottles under beds. The property managers are terrific and responded quickly when needed. We are already planning our next trip to Marathon and will be staying at Manatee Bay again.
