About this property

Island of Re. House near sandy beach, harbor and shops

Ideally located in the heart of the village of La Flotte en Ré, a stone's throw from the shops and the port, on a very quiet pedestrian street. All comfort, furniture, bedding and appliances are new. Recent construction from 2006, careful decoration. 30m2 sunny courtyard in summer, with garden furniture, barbecue and 2 sun loungers. A private parking space on the plot.
House of 130 m2 that can accommodate 8 people including:
- two bedrooms with a double bed (140 X190),
- two bedrooms with two single beds
 (90 X190),
the beds are equipped with a bolster, pillows, 2 blankets.
- a bathroom with a sink and a shower upstairs,
- a bathroom with two sinks and a bathtub on the ground floor provided with a hair dryer.
- an independent WC on the ground floor and upstairs
- a living room equipped with three sofas, a coffee table and a television connected to a box (French and foreign channels)
- free internet access by WIFI link
- a fitted kitchen with dishwasher, fridge with freezer, oven, microwave, ceramic hob, toaster, coffee maker (with filters), food processor, table with 2 chairs
- a laundry room including: washer-dryer, clothes line (tancarville), ironing board and iron,
- a dining room equipped with a table and 8 chairs, with direct access to the courtyard.
To welcome the grandchildren we can provide you with free of charge: a travel cot (1 sheet, 1 sheet below, 1 sheet above and 2 blankets), a high chair, a changing table, a safety barrier at the top of the staircase. if 2 babies possibility of providing double the material.

Services included in the rental price: water, electricity including Heating by electric radiator.
Tourist tax also included in the rental price.
We preferably rent for the week from Saturday to the following Saturday. For some bridges in May, contact us. We accept small pets.
Optional: end of stay cleaning: 60 euros
rental of sheets: 15 euros for a single bed, 25 euros for a double bed
towels rental (a washcloth, a small towel and a shower towel) 7 euros per person.

Séjour magnifique sur l'Ile de Ré.Découverte de l'Ile que nous ne connaissions pas sur une semaine.l'Hébergement était à la hauteur des descriptions, les propriétaires sont gens charmant, ils ont fait un geste inoubliable, nous ont avancé la prise du logement le samedi étaient avertis de la cérémonie de mariage de nos enfants. un grand merci à eux

Park-und Fahrsituation für größeres Fahrzeug aufgrund der Enge der Wege und der Hauseinfahrt absolut indiskutabel und jedesmal eine Herausforderung. Das Haus selbst sehr geräumig und sauber, hervorragende Küchenausstattung, allerdings rundum nur Blick auf hohe, weiße Mauern. Sehr gut der kurze Weg zum Hafen und ins Zentrum mit Markt und Geschäften sowie Restaurants. Sehr freundliche Eigentümer.

La meilleure des locations que nous avons faites

Maison spacieuse et fonctionnelle. Tout y est..comme indiqué, dans le descriptif. Nous avons passé notre séjour en restant à la Flotte. Proche des commerces, nous faisions nos courses au marché magnifique tous les matins. Marches avec les petits chiens le long de la côte et baignades. Nous recommandons vivement cette location tenue par des hôtes accueillants et sympathiques.

Very pleasant stay

The host and his wife were very amiable and welcoming, spending time with us showing us the house and the local amenities. The house is presented to a high standard, it was very clean and well maintained, very comfortable. Two things to advise if travelling from the UK by car. The first - there is parking space for only one small car. The second is the requirement to pay a cash security deposit, which is standard in France but not in the UK, this was returned in full at the end of our stay. I would recommend this accommodation if looking for a traditional French holiday.

We are livin in Cholet at 90 minutes drive of La Flotte en Ré. We built a new house in 2006 in La Flotte in preserving the Ré style (white house and green shutters)

Why they chose this property

My wife an I, we will come from Ile de Ré where we spend our chilhood. We have the project on some years to come back in La Flotte en Ré for our retimrement. In the meantime, we propose our house for the rent to spend very nice holidays in family or with friends.

What makes this property unique

Th house is located in the centre of La Flotte village, graded one of the most nice village of France
All the shops and medieval marked are at 50m by pedestrian streets. The very nice port of La Flotte is at 100m from the house and the sandy beach at 200m. The summer every evening there is an activité (party, concert,...) o a stage installed next to the port.
We do not need a car to enjoy good holidays in my house. All conveniences are available by foot from my house. To go elsewhere in the island you can hire bycicles and used the tracks of Ré island.
