the house, built in 2011, is located in Charente Maritime in the village of MATHES LA PALMYRE, a small village of 2000 inhabitants located in the center of the forest of the Curve on the peninsula of Arvert.
The village of Mathes corresponds to the city center with schools, town hall and shops. La Palmyre built by the sea in the 1960s, concentrates most of the economic activities of the town including the famous zoo, one of the largest zoos in Europe.
The house is located in a quiet area in the center of the village with its bakery, shops and market.
The beaches (La Palmyre, Grande CĂŽte and the wild coast) are between 6 and 10 km by car, they are also accessible by bike from the bike paths from the town.
A lot of activities are organized during the summer period.
Feel free to come and enjoy this region with its sunshine, 2,250 hours per year, it is comparable to that which knows a part of the Mediterranean coast.

Notre séjour s'est bien déroulé. La location est proche des commerces et de toutes commodités. Egalement proche des pistes cyclables, idéal pour les amoureux du vélo. Nous recommandons cette location.

Was ideally located for us near the market square and boulangerie. Philippe was very welcoming and easy to contact with replies coming very quickly. We had everything we needed for our stay and would stay again if we return to the area.

50th wedding anniversary stay

We throughly enjoyed our stay at this very comfortable and well equipped bungalow, with very pleasant and private garden. The owner was very easy to deal with. The only hiccup was that we could not connect the Wi-Fi. A great place to stay and we would consider it again

Les matelas ne sont pas nets et on s'enfonce dedans. Communication minimaliste avec le propriĂ©taire par sms uniquement (systĂšme de boĂźte Ă  clĂ©s Ă  l'arrivĂ©e comme au dĂ©part).Ces dĂ©tails d'importance gĂąchent la location qui pourrait vraiment ĂȘtre trĂšs agrĂ©able car elle est bien conçue

Super Urlaub in Les Msthes

Wir hatten einen Super-Tollen Urlaub in Philippe‘s Ferienhaus. Es ist alles viel schöner als in dem Inserat beschrieben. Philippe und seine Frau haben uns sehr gute Informationen zu dem Haus, der Umgebung, den AktivitĂ€ten, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants usw gegeben. Es ist alles in der nĂ€heren Umgebung leicht zu erreichen. Und im September hat auch das Wetter noch 100% mitgespielt. Nochmal: alles perfekt. Wir können das Haus bestens empfehlen - und werden sicher nochmals einen Urlaub dort verbringen

Lieu et emplacement au top. Quant Ă  la maison, elle manque de propretĂ©. (Radiateur, placard
) Il serait opportun d’ajouter une note explicative pour l’utilisation du chauffage (CentralisĂ©) et peut-ĂȘtre de le mettre en marche avant l’arrivĂ©e de clients. Surtout si bĂ©bĂ©s Ă  venir, mon cas en l’occurrence.

Location trÚs sympa et bien placée

Location impeccable, fonctionnelle et particuliĂšrement bien Ă©quipĂ©e. LocalisĂ©e dans un quartier tranquille prĂšs du bourg et de toute commoditĂ©, mais un peu loin de la mer (30min en vĂ©lo, 20min en voiture avec les bouchons trĂšs frĂ©quents l’étĂ©). Aucun vis Ă  vis, jardinet agrĂ©able. Le propriĂ©taire est trĂšs rĂ©actif et prĂ©voyant. Je dĂ©plore juste ne pas effectuer d’état des lieux Ă  l’entrĂ©e et Ă  la sortie, ce qui pourrait Ă©viter des dĂ©sagrĂ©ments en termes de mĂ©nage et/ou de casse entre deux locataires. Je recommande sans hĂ©siter!
