Welcome to our Villa!~

Enjoy our open, modern living space with high end commercial style appliances and west coast furnishings. Brand new in 2016, this suite is sure to impress with everything you need for a relaxing island beach or ski vacation.

- Master bedroom has luxurious king sized bed with a Sealy Posturepedic mattress

- Enjoy BBQing on beautiful deck while looking at the view

- Fully stocked gourmet kitchen complete with high end commercial style appliances, quartz counter-tops and eating bar.
- Pull out Leather Sofa is brand new, exceptionally comfortable and sleeps 2
- Our main home and Villa are on the property. Sandy Beach access is just down the Pathway. (About a 1 minute walk from Villa)

- 6 person Hot Tub

Our guest's have access to a private sandy beach, fire-pit, Hot Tub, grassy backyard area for lawn games and use of kayaks (2).

Please also note:
Our main home is also located on the property. It is separate from you and does not impact your complete privacy. To access the beach, you come out of the villa, come down the driveway past our main home, follow the hedges until you reach the stairway. Approx. a 1 minute walk from your front door.

Lovely location, exceptional clean and well stocked with lots of kitchen utensils, kitchen gadgets, laundry soap, shampoo and conditioner, games, and towels. On our wish list would be exterior lighting in the hot tub area and hooks for towels/robes. Also a few more hooks or another towel rack in the bathroom for towels & clothes/bathing suits.

We had a mixed experience at this property. There were parts that made our stay pleasant, but other aspects left us wondering how it has earned such a high rating.The Ugly:• Advertised as a "luxury villa" but is not a villa, and not really luxury either. It’s a one-bedroom apartment above a garage• The view from the unit is super disappointing. From the living room, you have to be at least 6 feet tall to even glimpse the beauty of the water. Oddly, the kitchen window is even higher! The view from the patio is completely blocked by a wall. Awful design• In their reponse to an unfavorable review re: the view from the patio, the owners claimed the patio was "designed to respect our privacy from their main home" yet made no effort to shield the patio from the neighbors' full view. lol• This property used to be called "oceanfront" but that wording has since been changed. Still, when I searched VRBO and checked the box "oceanfront", this listing came up in the results. Make of that what you willThe Good:• Hot tub was nice• Heated bathroom floor• Modern appliances and fixtures• Place was clean on arrival• King bed was comfortable• Quiet locationThe Bad:• "Private beach" access goes through the owners' front yard - intrusive and uncomfortable• The hot tub faces the driveway (i.e. your parked car)• No outdoor lighting for the tub, which makes getting in and out after dark a bit sketchyOverall: cost is fair but the view sucks horribly

My friend and I loved this place! It is modern, clean and the location next to the water and a short ride to Campbell River was perfect. I loved using the private hot tub and sitting on the deck daily. It has all the needed amenities and is very peaceful. We found ourselves spending more time at the unit than we had planned because it was so comfortable and relaxing. We had a minor issue upon check-in and our hosts addressed it immediately. They were quick to respond to any questions and very friendly and kind. Unfortunately there was a fire ban so we didn't get to enjoy a fire on the beach but that is definitely a nice option when safe to do so. There are newly constructed stairs leading to the beach now so that was an unexpected bonus. It was so pretty to sit next to the water and watch all the wildlife. We saw deer on our first day! It was also fun to watch the huge cruise ships go by. I recommend this location and will be back if available on my next family visit. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

Our stay was awesome! The Villa is great. The hosts have made everything so that we were comfortable in every room, even on the private terrace or on the private beach. We enjoyed everything. We saw many eagles, a dear, a rabbit. Also, ou 12 years old son and I used the kayaks available on the beach, and a curious seal came 1 meter close to my son! That was amazing. We went for great hiking in the parks close to the Villa. We also went for a whale watching tour with Big Animals Encounters… we saw 9 humpback whales, many seals, sea lions, dolphins, … and 8 orcas! The hosts were very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The spa worked perfectly. I highly recommend this place!

Amazing views, quiet location

Incredible accommodation. The views out of the windows are amazing with a view of the sea. It's especially good on a sunny morning. Overall very comfortable and well equipped. The hot tub is an added bonus. The location is extremely quiet and very relaxing. Yet only a few minutes easy drive to shops and restaurants. Highly recommended.

The living room, kitchen, bedroom, and patio were very comfortable, clean and well supplied (including welcome wine bottle). Excellent!What was disappointing was:1) The featured hot tub was inaccessible with a 3' wall to climb in order to enter the water. For most renters over 60 that is too dangerous to attempt. Please put in higher stairs.2) The location by the water is great but the windows are too high for any view and there is a high wall on the patio that obstructs the view as well. 3) The lovely lawn by the water which is pictured on the website belongs to the other house and is not available to the renters. This needs to be clarified.4) Clear instructions for the TV, fireplace, etc should be included in the Visitors Book. We spent much frustrated time trying to figure out the three remotes and only found the switch for the fire on our last day.

Golf and Hike in Campbell River

My wife and I stayed 6 nights at this destination, from Apr25-May1, 2025. The unit was clean and very comfortable for two travelers. The availability of a hot tub was nice. We used it every day after hiking/golfing. The kitchen is well equipped but the table for eating was a little small and the bar stools were rather wobbly. The sun deck is spacious. A short walk from the unit gets you to a very good restaurant, Angler's at the Dolphin Resort. We had breakfast and dinner there. Golfwise we played Storey Creek, Campbell River and Crowne Isle. All were good but we liked Crowne Isle the best. Hiking around the Campbell River and Elk Falls was excellent.

The property was just perfect! A hidden getaway on a quiet street, ocean views and stepsaway from the ocean. All the amenities you need and perfect for a cozy stay on a rainy day or just a short drive to Campbelm River with nany things to see and do. Our favourite was walking to the Angler Restaurant at the Dolphin Resortfor a wonderfum dinner.

The advertisement is kind of misleading. Said private beach and yard area but it's shared. The yard is the main homes yard and didn't access the beach because it's a long set of stairs going down with no railings.

The place had excellent reviews, which is partially why we chose it. It did not disappoint! The hot tub was well maintained and a lovely addition. The kitchen, bathroom, living room, and bedroom were incredibly clean and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need to cook. We packed a cooler with food so we could make breakfast and lunch there and we lacked nothing! Hosts were non-intrusive, but very supportive! We felt like we had a truly memorable getaway space! 10/10-would stay again!
