Within walking distance is a nature reserve with a lovely bathing lake, sandy beach and barbecue areas. Here are wonderful hiking trails in forest, lake and bog with many different species of birds, insects and other animals. The famous hiking trail, the ski trail, goes through the area. There is also a facility with paintball and high altitude climbing nearby. Barsebäck Golf and Country Club is only a few kilometers from the house. Barsebäck's beach and harbor offer both sea baths, ice cream parlor and restaurant with outdoor seating in the marina.
Only 6 km from the house there is a railway station with connections to Lund, Landskrona / Ven, Helsingborg / Helsingör, Malmö and Copenhagen.
