The best Aegean Villa in wonderful location

Everything was perfect from welcome at the port till departure. Fantastic location to profit by the island with a car or to rest at the pool with incredible changing sea views. Very clean and well equipped house. Alonissos is a very beautiful island worth to discover.

What a lovely property! We have stayed multiple times on Alonissos over the last 40 years and this is as the title says private and secluded. However, it is only a few minutes to the old Town and perhaps 5 more to Patitiri. The best beaches at Chrisi Milia are close as well. You will need a car. It’s a steep drive but easily manageable and the views!!! More seating than people which is great as you can follow the sun. Lovely Olive trees and plants in pots. We would stay again. There were 4 of us and we used all 3 bedrooms which were clean and comfortable.

Generally good with a few reservations

Lovely villa in a superb location, but need a car. Access road described as easy, but it is anything but, very rough! Small en-suite shower is very small and despite several attempts to get it fixed, the shower head fitting still directs water down the wall. Owners attitude to our request to sorting the problem was poor. Light in En-suite bathroom didn’t work. Fridge constantly leaking, which we had to deal with several times. No instruction manual to explain how machines work, and how to contact doctors, dentists etc. The villa is well equipped, but attention to detail leaves something to be desired.

I am disappointed by your remarks about owner’s attitude, which doesn’t reflect at all the efforts we kindly made to satisfy your requests. There was no problem in the shower of the en-suite bathroom, which is and has always been a hand shower. As you absolutely wanted a wall shower, I kindly sent somebody to install a wall shower fixing especially for you with what we could find on an island. I find quite unfair to critic something which was done especially for you. In addition, there is locally a concierge who can answer to all your questions and is very reactive, and I am always available. I am surprised you didn’t ask for the machines if you didn’t understand how to use them. Explanation for the washing machine are anyway clearly written inside the machine closet, and I never imagined dishwasher or TV needed explanation, sorry for that. The light in the en-suite shower was and is perfectly working, you just had to use the switch at the entrance of the bathroom before pressing the button of the mirror light. The concierge was also there in case of concerns (no dentist on the island and only 1 doctor easy to find). As for the fridge, you should have informed us. We found after your departure the condensation evacuation was clogged by of some your food and we unclogged the pipe very easily. Access is definitely by an easy paved access road after a normal public dust road of the island. We are in a greek island.

Beautiful Greek island getaway

My family and I stayed at the villa for a full week in June 2020 and loved every minute of it! The views are spectacular, the house and kitchen are very well equipped, the pool is clean and warm during the day, and the owner and caretaker were very flexible and easy to work with. Our two teenagers each had their own bedroom and there is tons of great outdoor space. We cooked a lot of meals at the house, as most restaurants on the island still weren't open when we went, but the kitchen had everything we needed and we enjoyed sitting outside to eat. The caretaker met us at the port upon our arrival and we followed him up to the house. It was less than a 10 minute drive down to the port whenever we needed to go to the grocery store to pick up supplies. The nearby old town (Chora) was also charming to walk around and had beautiful views of the sunset. We had a fantastic experience in every way!

Exceptional villa, nice neighborhood amidst nature, but close city. Perfectly equipped with charm

Exceptional view, very nice swimming pool, still a bit fresh end of April but ok for swimming overlooking the Aegean sea, which is much colder than the pool ! Very comfy & scenic outdoor living spaces, lot’s of flowers, charming decoration inside with a traditional fireplace for the evenings. Beds are very good The house keeper is very kind and brought us fantastic tasty lemons ... the bests I ever tasted ! Alonissos at this season is quiet, with the Easter celebrations bringing nice animation. Some taverns are open. Steni Bala Tassia’s cooking is great ! Thanks !
