We love it here this was our 3rd time here. We spent a lot of time on the water in our kayaks and fishing. Enjoyed the birds in the yard beautiful sunsets close to Hannaford hosts are great and reply quickly we will definitely be back
We spent a week living the lake life- and it was wonderful. The kids- 12, 10, & 5 spent all day kayaking, swimming, floating & playing on the private beach. There's a TV, but we were having more fun on the water & playing board games when we needed rest. The view from the deck is unmatched - we're already looking forward to next year!
We had a great week staying here! The hosts were very warm, inviting and non-invasive. The view of the water was beautiful, and we saw ducks and turtles and lots of fish! We were able to enjoy kayaking, swimming, fishing and had a few campfires with smores. Kids had a great time! Short drive to Hampton Beach ⛱️. Lots of cooking utensils and toiletries available. Thank you for having us, would highly recommend!
The place is very nice. Cottage is what you would expect. The pond was wonderful. Water was warm for swimming, tubing and floating. Fishing was amazing. I would definitely return if the opportunity presents itself.
Everything I read about this property was expected the views were awesome. Could use some updating beds, but this is a great family retreat/cabin. If we were to go back we would.
My daughter, son in law and two young granddaughters live in Sandown so it was a perfect place stay being so close by. and topped off with the serenity of being on the water! My granddaughters loved the little beach, splashing in the water, feeding the fish and turtles and watching the families of Mallards. The house is charming but the location is what makes it an awesome place to be. The owners are wonderful. My only disappointment was that I didn’t book a longer stay !
This little gem was a flashback to the 70’s when I used to stay at my Aunt and Uncle’s Camp on Square Pond in Springvale, ME.
The inside is comfy/cozy cottage was everything and then some. We loved the lake. It was quiet.
We met some local’s on the lake that were super friendly and gave us some tips on where to eat and do laundry!
Donna and John, we loved staying at your camp and thank you for allowing us to be there.

We absolutely love staying here and were so happy to stay again this year as usual it’s such a warm and cozy home we go for the fishing and it did not disappoint. The sunsets were gorgeous. The location is wonderful not far from Hampton Beach. Just about 40 minutes. We also visit kittery Maine which is also under an hour, close and convenient to shopping this home just gives off a great vibe for relaxing. We enjoyed our kayaks and small fires by the water if anyone is looking for a spot to get away and relax, this is your place very easy to communicate with owners, and very quick to respond to any questions. We can’t wait to come back next year.
Excellent camp style cabin just feet from the water. Very clean. Tons of kitchenware available for making meals. Grill right on the deck while watching the lake. Very quiet and peaceful place, but plenty of activities nearby if you feel like going on an adventure. Owners were very prompt with responses. This is a great place for anyone that loves lake life or is looking for a quiet place to relax. Very kid friendly with a dock to jump off and a swim area with a beach right in the backyard.
This was a beautiful peaceful stay! As soon as we got there we fell in love with the place the private beach just steps away we caught some great bass! Not one bad day of fishing. We brought our kayaks and we’re on the water everyday the sunrises and sunsets were amazingly beautiful and the location was perfect with a grocery store 6 mins down the street. We went to Hampton beach just a little over half hour away one day and even to kittery Maine only about 40 mins away. The house itself was comfy and just the right size had everything we needed. I would recommend staying here to anyone. The hosts were easy to get ahold of and communication was delightful. Thank you this was exactly what we wanted and needed :)
Sweet, peaceful cottage on Phillip's pond. We have 3 kids 10 & under and they spent every spare moment outside, swimming, fishing, floating & skipping rocks. My favorite part of each day was sitting on the deck in the morning, drinking coffee & listening to the birds. Canobie Lake Park is only 20 minutes away, & that was a lot of fun. A real getaway!
Was fantastic so peaceful Great Lake to kayak and fish nice country store a minute from the house as well as a supermarket and gas station 10 minutes down the road one straight shot hopefully have another opportunity to stay again thank you for letting us be your guests
We enjoyed our time to rest, relax, recover, and refresh. My husband had triple bypass surgery six weeks ago, and this was the perfect setting for us to spend time with our family and enjoy the wildlife at the pond at his pace. We were able to enjoy scenic drives to the White Mountains and Hampton Beach as well.
This was our second stay and we love it! Quiet, relaxing, and fun! Everything you need for a summer New England get away! Would recommend and will be booking again!
This little red cottage on the lake was the perfect summer getaway!! The cottage itself was cozy, yet larger inside than one would think. Add to this the large wooden deck with the view of the lake, priceless! The lake is just the right size for boating fun. The children loved swimming and fishing off the little beach and dock. I loved that I could watch them comfortably from the shade. Overall we were very satisfied and enjoyed our stay!!
I spent a week here with my husband in August. The cottage was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed! The kitchen had all the basics -- coffee maker, microwave, blender, toaster, utensils etc. and there was a nice tv in the living room with cable. Outside is a nice deck to view the lake -- and plenty of chairs to relax in. The zero gravity chairs were the best! We brought them down to the sandy beach (just a few steps from the deck!) and relaxed every afternoon. The lake was very quiet all week and often we were the only people on it! We fished every day and caught so many bass! There's plenty of shade cover and lilypads... and lots of fish underneath. We had a great week here!

Very peaceful piece of home on the water
I spent two weeks here in temporary housing while waiting for my new house to close. The alternative was a hotel room. This place was great. This place has a peaceful, relaxing, small-town feel that was nice to come home to after the first few weeks at a new job, in a new state, with my wife 6 states away. Just what I was looking for!
Thanks a ton Donna.

Quiet retreat!
Cottage was great. Brought our kayaks and had a great time paddling around. Nice to sit on deck or sandy beach to relax and enjoy the sun & breeze. Great place to enjoy family and to unwind. We rented the cottage for visiting relatives and they're already talking about making it an annual event.
Thank you John & Donna-
