Located on the North Shore, in Anne's Land, this cozy clean 3 bedroom 2 bath, cottage is kid friendly, close to all amenities & gorgeous PEI red sand beaches. Enjoy spectacular sunsets & lobster suppers on the 28 foot deck with water views facing the Darnley Basin. Fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washer, dryer, bbq, fire pit, satellite tv, dvd player & HEATED outdoor shower - All linens, towels & beach gear provided. Located on 1 acre of private property & minutes away from some of the best beaches on the Island.

We welcome you to our cottage & want you to make your self at home. We are proud owners & expect our renters to respect our property & possessions. Many of our blankets, linens & quilts are handmade & sentimental - please be mindful of the condition of those items. Only take BEACH towels to the beach. Bath towels & beach towels must remain separate. Patio cushions must be stored in the shed during inclement weather. The patio umbrella will need to be in closed position during strong winds. The BBQ must NOT be placed against the vinyl siding. Propane for BBQ is available at TwinShores campground or in Kensington. We ask that you replace what you've used & there always be a full cylinder in the shed. If your pet comes with you, we ask that you carefully clean up after them. Recycling & garbage collection is on Thursdays - we ask that all items are placed at the road side. Please park on the right side of the property - septic is on the left & will not hold the weight of a vehicle. We are available 24 hours via our mobile - Property manager lives 3 minutes away & is also available 24 hours if you require assistance. Pertinent phone numbers & emergency information is located in a blue binder on the coffee table. We ask that you take note & read carefully. Your safety & security is paramount. PEI cottage

Cottage was cozy and homey…both decks were relaxing and we spent a lot of time on both. Dryer broke but was repaired before our departure…DVD player did not work. Satellite TV a bit tricky…otherwise a most enjoyable vacation.

We are a family of five living in Ontario & we're proud owners of this little piece of heaven on the east coast of Canada. We fell in love with the Island in 2007 & purchased the cottage in June 2013. We make the drive from Ontario in less than 18 hours and love spending a few weeks every summer at our cottage.

Why they chose this property

We rented a cottage in the Darnley area in 2007 & 2008 and knew we had to have a cottage to call our own. Darnely is centrally located, secluded enough from the hustle & bustle of the city but close to essential amenities needed for "summer survival".

What makes this property unique

Our children run, play & bike in our neighbourhood. Our annual visits always include culinary experiences, local craft beer, deep sea fishing excursions, sea kayaking, ceilidhs, & LOTS of beach time.

The drive to & from Cavendish from Darnley is rated one of the most picturesque in Canada. Many photo opportunities along the way.

Deep Sea Fishing always includes a cod fish fry for dinner & many times we have whales, dolphins & tuna fish experiences along the way or sometimes, the odd seal will visit our boat. Daily charters are available in Malpeque Harbor & Stanley Bridge.

Beach Combing is a family favourite - crabs, hermit crabs, lobsters, caves & cliffs to explore on every beach. The adventure is endless & action packed.
