About this property

Pitoresk fiskershuske on the Wadden Sea

The cottage has recently been completely modernized, the decor is fresh and light. It is located near the sea wall. It is the perfect base if you want to enjoy the beautiful nature, the wadden region, the islands and Dokkum.

The space:
The cottage located in the old fishing village of Wierum, directly on the Wadden Sea. From the seawall you have a beautiful view over the wadden region. Cycling, walking and mudflat walking, you will completely relax here. Wierum is a perfect base for visiting the Wadden Islands, the Lauwersmeer area and the picturesque town of Dokkum.

Access for guests:
The entire house is at your disposal. The living room is light and sunny. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, oven, gas hob and Quooker. The bathroom is downstairs and has a toilet and luxury shower. In January 2018 we completely renovated the bathroom. Upstairs are two bedrooms, each with two single beds that can be pushed together or separated.
There is also a nice back garden where you can enjoy the sun all day.
We have made the beds for you upon arrival.
In the kitchen there is a clean towel and tea towel.
The bath towels must be brought yourself.
Note the stairs to the floor is steep!

When you arrive the beds are already made.
In the kitchen are towels for washing and drying.
You only have to bring your own personal towels for the bathroom.

Das Häuschen ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Es ist alles da was man braucht. Für 4 Personen ist sehr großzügig gedacht. 2 Erwachsene mit Kind funktioniert sicher gut. Die Treppe ( Leiter) zu den Schlafräumen ist steil. Wenn man gut zu Fuß ist, kein Problem. Mit den tierischen Mitbewohnern im Haus (Spinnen und Nacktschnecken) kann man sich mit etwas Einfühlungsvermögen arrangieren. ( Etwas Schwund ist immer!) Der Garten ist gemütlich und ruhig. Der Feigenbaum im Garten bietet Vitamine und beschäftigt alle Insekten, so dass man am Gartentisch super entspannen kann und den Schmetterlingen beim Naschen zuschauen kann. Die Technik im Haus ( Quooker, Gasherd, Internet, Fernseher ) sind auf neuestem Stand. Die Nachbarschaft ist sehr nett und freundlich. Im Pub gibt es tolles Essen. Auch die Möglichkeiten für Einkauf und Ausflüge sind super. Es ist sehr ruhig und genau der richtige Platz zum entspannen. Danke an die Vermieterin.

Fischerhäuschen in Wierum

5tägiger Herbsturlaub hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das alte Fischerhäuschen ist klein aber fein renoviert und modern eingerichtet. Es hat alles was ein Kurzurlaub braucht. Vorsicht, die Treppe zu den Schlafräumen ist sehr steil aber oben mit einem Kindersicherheitstor gesichert. Die Betten sind bequem aber als große Person muss man sich unter den Dachschrägen einfädeln, was jedoch zum Charme des Hauses gehört. Bei schönem Wetter kann man draußen im Garten sitzen. Geht man vor die Tür steht man praktisch schon am Deich. Es ist dörflich authentisch. Es gibt eine Einkaufsmöglichkeit im Nachbarort Ternaard und eine urige Fischerkneipe in Wierum wo man gut essen kann und Billiard spielen - am besten man reserviert für abends einen Tisch. Wir empfehlen dieses Fischerhäuschen und kommen gerne wieder.

Wir konnten die Tage in Wierum voll geniessen. Das Haus hat uns allen sehr gefallen. Es war sehr sauber, gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Kommunikation mit Pina war einfach, schnell und genau richtig. Herzlichen Dank dafür. Ein ebenso grosses Plus ist die wunderschöne Umgebung, die natürlich vir allem zum Rad fahren einlädt.

Ruhe und Natur pur

Wer Ruhe sucht ist hier genau richtig. Die Unterkunft ist in einem kleinem Dörfchen gleich hinter dem Deich. Die Unterkunft selbst ist hell und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Treppe zum Schlafbereich ist steil, wer mit kleinen Kinder anreist, sollte dies beachten. Das schlafen unterm Dach bei einer " steifen Brise" ist Mal was anderes 😉. Die Couch ist jedoch schon echt durchgesessen, was das sitzen abends doch etwas schwierig gestaltete und bei dem Bandheizkörper müsste auch Mal was gemacht werden. Ansonsten kann man die Unterkunft empfehlen.

Gemütliches Haus direkt am Wasser 😍

Wir hatten superschöne 4 Tage im alten Fischerhaus. Das Haus liegt direkt am Meer und lädt zu Spaziergängen ein. Da das Wetter leider nicht wirklich mitgespielt hat, haben wir Ausflüge nach Dokkum (wunderschöne Kleinstadt), Leeuwarden und Groningen unternommen und uns abends gemütlich mit Spielen zusammengesetzt. Bei schönem Wettern kann man sicher auch abends gut draußen sitzen und die Ruhe genießen ☺️

Ein schönes Zuhause direkt am Deich

Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl in der kleinen, kuscheligen Wohnung. Für zwei ist die Wohnung gut geeignet. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Die Vermieter waren sehr kooperativ, aufmerksam und super freundlich. Jederzeit gut über E-Mail zu erreichen und mit einer superschnellen Reaktionszeit. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Claudia und Thomas PS: Die Treppe ist wirklich sehr steil - aber das steht ja auch in der Beschreibung.

Tolles kleines Häuschen

Das Haus liegt direkt in Deichnähe in einer kleinen Gasse umgeben von anderen kleinen Hausern. Der Gartenbereich ist windgeschützt von alten Mauern umgeben. Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll, dezent und in einem sehr guten Zustand. Es fehlte uns an nichts. Wir haben mit unseren beiden Kindern im Studentenalter sehr schöne Radtouren in die umliegenden Städte nach Harlingen, Leeuwarden, Dokkum sowie ums Lauwersmeer gemacht.
