Lovely Villa in Kournas, Crete

We had 4 weeks at this lovely villa in June. Overall, we were extremely happy with the villa and it's location. The accommodation was spotless on arrival and very easy to keep clean during our stay. The pool was cleaned on a regular basis also. The village centre, with 3 tavernas, a small shop and café, was within easy walking distance of 5-10 mins. The nearest beach was about 10 mins drive away. Overall, we had no complaints about the villa but it is what I would call, traditional basic Greek style accommodation that perhaps could do with a little TLC in a couple of places such as the kitchen cabinet doors, but this is only a very very small issue that did not affect our enjoyment of our stay. I would happily recommend this villa to anyone.

Belle maison bien située

Une fois garé sur notre parking privé, nous avons été très bien été accueilli par Elini. Des boissons nous attendaient au frais ainsi que quelques cadeaux de bienvenus, ce que nous avons beaucoup appréciés. Nos enfants ont apprécié le studio avec salle de bain indépendant. En raison du temps en ce début septembre, la piscine était froide pour certain d'entre nous, les moins frileux en ont tout de même profitée. Il y a de très bons restaurants au village à 3 mn à pieds, pour les amateurs de poteries, huile d 'olive et vin, il y a également une boutique où le propriétaire parle français et un petit magasin qui vend du pain et autres produits. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à la Maison Crétoise et remercions Pascale, Elini et son mari.
