The four boats are 11 metres long and weigh 760 kg. each, they have eight oarsmen on fixed seats and a Cox who stands in the stern, they are decorated with the flags of the Republics. An amazing location! Yes, there are many steps, but it is definitely worth it! Great views and spacious rooms. The balcony with a view of the water and square was perfect for morning coffee and evening wine!
It was amazing with this beautiful panorama over the houses, the cathedral and the sea and boats and changing lights during the day.
The house was quiet, with very good closing windows. We could enjoy our holiday in this nice surrounding. We spent 3 weeks here!
We stayed for a week. It was a great apartment to stay at, a short walk up the stairs from the main square. It has a large terrace with a beautiful view of the city and duomo. I definitely recommend this place when staying in Amalfi, it was very nice to be able to walk out the door and down into town quickly without having to take a bus or walk that far. We would certainly come stay here again.
Lovely one bedroom apartment. Very clean and had no issues. Kitchen had what we needed - note, there is no washing machine, dishwasher, nor microwave. Not a problem, just need to know.
The terrace was lovely and quite large. The bedroom was large and the bed comfortable. The living room was large as well - it was nice to come home to in the evenings. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bathroom is on the far side of the kitchen - nice to have privacy. It was comfortable and they provided a blowdryer.
There are 128 stairs to get to the apartment - just be aware - not an issue as they told us about it when we rented.
At the base of the stairs, you are in a lovely square which leads to the main square in front of the Duomo. Close to a market, fresh fruit/veggie stand, and bakeries.
Would recommend this apartment to anyone!
Amazing View and location, very clean, quiet, and absolutely beautiful!
We stayed in the condo for 3 nights. The condo was VERY clean and beautiful and was recently remodeled and had all modern amenities. The check-in process was easy and the host was very pleasant, too. The location is PERFECT! Just steps away from restaurants, shopping, lemon cello :). We loved the view, which was amazing, and spent every night on the outdoor patio sipping wine and eating cheese, admiring the view of the Amalfi Coast, and listening to the church bells. We absolutely loved Pizzeria Donna Stella, the pizza and Tiramisu were amazing. The condo was very quiet and relaxing and the bed was very comfortable, too. To get there, just take a train to Salerno and walk for about 5 min to the harbor and catch the Ferry, (Travelmar), and enjoy the views. When you are dropped off at the Amalfi dock, the meeting location is only a 5 min walk to the fountain. I Highly recommend this property. Yes, there are steps and no elevator, but absolutely worth the effort. :)
