The Space:
Santa Maria 41 is a charming one-bedroom apartment located on the ground floor of the Santa Maria aparthotel in the beautiful San Eugenio area of Tenerife. The apartment has been thoughtfully designed with your comfort in mind and boasts modern amenities to enhance your stay. With recent refurbishments, it offers a cosy living space featuring a comfortable sofa bed and satellite TV with a wide range of international channels.

The lounge area includes a small dining space and opens up to a delightful balcony through patio doors. From here, you can enjoy a lovely view of the pool while relaxing at the patio table and chairs provided. The well-equipped kitchen is furnished with essential appliances such as an oven, a 2-ring hob, a fridge, and a microwave, ensuring your culinary needs are met.

The bedroom offers a peaceful retreat with two single beds, a spacious chest of drawers, fitted wardrobes, two bedside tables, and accompanying bedside lights. A ceiling fan is also available to keep you cool during warmer nights. The bathroom features a convenient bath with an overhead shower, a wash hand basin, a WC, and a washing machine for your convenience. Additionally, the apartment provides a security safe to ensure the safety of your belongings.

Please note that the lead guest must be at least 25 years old. To maintain a family-friendly atmosphere, the apartment is reserved for families only and cannot accommodate groups consisting solely of males or females.

Absolutely brilliant holiday

Our apartment was a perfect location and base for us with the shop, beach and restaurants so close. Being ground floor was brilliant too. It was clean and had the added bonus of a washing machine so w have no dirty washing either.

Perfect poolside location. Great friendly complex in a central loaction. Apartment nice and clean, plenty of towels. All kitchen facilities amd washing machine there for a self catering holiday. Had a fantastic holiday. Booking was easy and efficient with helpful Karen.

Excellent accommodation and communication. Great location with short walk to the beach.

We love staying at the Santa Maria but always book private as the hotel's rooms are basic. This apartment was great and the first time we have booked a one-bed (usually studio apartments). Having the extra space was great for the children. The apartment was quiet, perfectly positioned next to the pool so nipping back to the apartment didn't feel like a chore. No wifi or English TV but we didn't mind as we have come to spend time together not look a box.

I wish this review was made public! The apartment was dark,poorly appointed and unfit for a holiday. Blood stains on the pillow, towels that were threadbare and dirty and bedding in holes. The brush and dustpan had to be washed before I could use them and the balcony was dirty.Hardly worth £***per week. We had to buy new pillows,towels,tea towel, pegs and a bowl for the microwave. The bathroom door handle came off as it had been poorly repaired earlier. The front door is locked with a key pad which has had the same number for months so that cleaners ,maintenance people and anyone who had ever stayed there could get in if they wished. Although we love Tenerife this apartment spoilt our holiday as we had to stay in it for three weeks. Home Away responded to our complaints very quickly but nevertheless things should not be that bad. The Landlord bears the responsibility for this lack of care.

I am very surprised to read this review, which is unfair. As future guests will note the last review gave a rating of 5 stars for this apartment. It is true that we received a complaint fairly early on during the client's stay. There were problems with the linen provided. But we responded and reacted positively. New cleaners were appointed and new linen and towels were provided. The apartment was re-cleaned and a new iron provided. The bathroom door handle was repaired as well as possible due to back to back bookings. The owner intends to replace the bathroom door as soon as there is enough free time in the apartment to arrange it. It is a very popular apartment and gets booked out a lot. I'm very disappointed that no mention is made of the fact that the problems were sorted. This guest certainly seemed happy about it at the time.
