'The Retreat Villa' is situated in the pretty village area of Peristerona near Polis in Paphos district. Accessed by private driveway (between the fruit orchards) into the extensive and secluded private grounds, this impressive stone built detached villa has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing holiday in the Cyprus sunshine.

It has 4 bedrooms and sleeps 8. It has a 12m x 6m private swimming pool with Roman steps, full air-conditioning, large flat screen TV with IPTV & DVD (TVs in all bedrooms also), washing machine, dishwasher, large stone built BBQ with adjacent table to seat 8, a circular shaded bar area jacuzzi bath in main bathroom and much more.

The setting is both serene and spectacular with the rolling hills of the nearby villages giving views you'll remember forever.

Details of the Interior:

After accessing the villa's grounds by long driveway (plenty parking), the villa's front door opens into a large airy open plan space comprising the lounge, inside dining area and kitchen. The lounge is furnished with 2 large real leather sofas & has a large flat screen TV with IPTV & DVD player. There is an open fire for those who wish to take advantage of some daytime sunshine and a cosy evening atmosphere in cooler winter months.

The adjacent dining/breakfasting area is equipped with a wooden table and eight chairs. The fully equipped kitchen has all modern appliances including washing machine, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, oven, gas hob and extractor hood, microwave and many other extras. Patio doors from the dining area open out onto the beautifully kept lawn area with play equipment for young children. A terrace with table a chairs overlooks and is an alternative setting for casual or formal dining. A door from the kitchen leads out to the villa's private pool.

Interior Cont: Making up the ground floor is a twin bedroom (useful for those with mobility issues) and an en-suite shower room with 2 access doors (as it doubles up as WC)

Upstairs, the master bedroom is a double bedroom that benefits from a balcony, wardrobes, dressing table/mirror and an en-suite bathroom with shower.

The second bedroom is a double bedroom and the third is a twin. Between the bedrooms is a large bathroom with jacuzzi bath and shower.

The villa is fully air-conditioned (paid locally if required). A travel cot and high chair are supplied free of charge on request. Other extras such as hair-dryer, pool towels, and safety deposit box are also provided.

The current IPTV system features most UK Sky channels (premium sports, documentaries, movies & music included) as a well as a video library of TV series, Movies and more

Details of the Exterior:

The extensive private grounds and gardens of 'The Retreat' in Peristerona are accessed by a long private driveway with fruit orchards on either side.

The centrepiece of the holiday villa's ground is a very inviting 12m x 6m private pool with Roman steps for ease of access. The spacious pool terrace is nicely equipped with 8 large sun loungers that benefit from large overhanging parasols and drinks tables as well as a choice of casual seating. Also on the pool terrace there is a circular bar area with solid wood pergola for shade. A new rattan sofa set has been added for reading in the sun or shade and a similar set has been added to the upstairs balcony also.

Take a step up and sit under a large gazebo with picnic bench to seat 8 comfortably for lunch or dinner. The large stone built BBQ sits at the end making it the perfect place for alfresco dining and socialising with your party on holiday. An outside shower and WC complete the outside areas. Most of the outside areas afford spectacular uninterrupted views of the surrounding valley and hillside. The pretty flowers, shrubs and trees add to the atmosphere.

''Let’s Rent Online continues to impress with their consistently excellent service and communication. The information provided is always clear, helpful, and easy to follow, which makes booking and preparing for a trip seamless.

The property, The Retreat, was outstanding — spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and a swimming pool that was noticeably larger than most. The location was perfect: very private and secluded, yet conveniently close to local bars, restaurants, and the beach.

There were several standout dining options nearby. The Stone Lion is a popular choice, especially on weekends, with generous portions and a dessert menu full of exceptional homemade cakes. The Watermill Café in Steni offers good food at reasonable prices, just a short distance from the villa. Moustakallis in Polis never disappoints, serving consistently high-quality meals with a warm welcome from the family and staff.

Local support was also exceptional. Katrina, the local manager, was incredibly kind and welcoming — nothing was too much trouble. The thoughtful welcome pack and personal touches really added to the experience.

''We all had a truly lovely time in Cyprus—nobody wanted to return home at the end of our stay! Rest assured, we will definitely be back.

To answer some of your questions:

The villa, The Retreat Villa, was exceptional. The villa itself was excellent—well maintained, comfortable, and fully equipped. The outdoor areas were also beautifully kept. The pool was wonderful—large enough for five adults to enjoy comfortably. The pool table got plenty of use, though it is showing its age a little and could benefit from a bit of an upgrade or restoration. That said, we happily made do with its quirks.

The location was perfect for us. We openly admit we’re not party people and prefer peace and quiet. The Retreat Villa was ideally situated—remote enough to offer tranquillity, yet close enough to Polis for grocery shopping during the day and dining out in the evening.

We would recommend Papantoniou Supermarket in Polis, which is only about 9km from the villa. It stocked everything we needed for our self-catering holiday and had a great mix of familiar products and local brands.

We also highly recommend Moustakallis Tavern and Restaurant in Polis. We enjoyed it so much we ended up dining there every night! The prices were reasonable—around €125 each night for five adults including starters, mains, and drinks. Two members of our group are gluten intolerant, and the menu was clearly marked with allergens. The staff were incredibly accommodating and happy to adapt dishes to suit dietary needs. Service was impressively swift: starters arrived within five minutes of ordering, and mains followed promptly after. We never felt rushed, and Andreas was always available to assist or answer questions. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him or his team.

The service and communication from both yourselves and Katrina were excellent and couldn’t be faulted.

All in all, we had a wonderful stay in Cyprus. We’ll definitely be back, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book through LetsRentOnline again—or to stay at The Retreat Villa a second time.

''We had a fantastic holiday, was just amazing. We would like to give personal thanks to yourself for all of your assistance. It was very reassuring to have, especially during such uncertain times.

Fantastic villa, great outdoor space. Very clean. Welcome pack was amazing and much appreciated. Very private and amazing views. Great location though do need a car (not a problem for us as we love driving and exploring Cyprus) . Only short drive to Polis, Latchi and Steni etc and we love this part of Cyprus as beautiful and feels less touristy than Coral bay and paphos harbour….though we do love coral bay beach and it is feasible to drive to there from this villa.

We loved moustakklis restaurant in polis…so welcoming and lovely food. Also Yialos in Latchi on the beach front….beautiful location for sunset drinks/food and play area for kids. Love Polis square and Latchi harbour, also Lara bay. Lovely gift shop ‘That Nice Shop’ in Polis and also an amazing bakery. Latchi water sports were great, hired a speedboat for the afternoon, great fun and beautiful area/views.

Steven has been amazing and we are incredibly grateful….we will be continuing to use Let’s Rent Online for future holidays. And we would recommend to friends. Katrina was lovely and very welcoming/helpful''

''The villa was fantastic! Well equipped, perfect outside area and fab swimming pool. Great views and very tranquil. We have been to this area before but only on day trips, never to stay. We loved it. Will definitely return. Villa was further out than we are accustomed to but we were happy to drive and only 10min drive to Polis/Latchi. Bit of a drive to Coral Bay. We did this a couple of times but bit of a trek for every day. Police and Latchi are lovely though so no need to travel to Coral Bay all of the time.

Can recommend Moustaklis restaurant in Polis. Great family owned restaurant-very friendly, great with kids. Also Yialos beach bar in Latchi. Wonderful evening right beach, watching sunset. Daughter played in their play area and on beach. Can recommend the Cyprus platter for two..delicious and only 22euros! There is a lovely gift shop in Polis called ‘that nice shop’. We also hired an off road buggy from Petrides in Latchi and spent the day in the Akamas and on the beautiful Lara Bay beach.

Fantastic service from Let’s Rent. Could not fault this. Very personable and sent all of the relevant info with some great discounts for use on holiday. Our villa manager was lovely, very helpful.

We love Cyprus and have visited many times. We will definitely be back and very likely to the same area, quite possibly even the same villa if available.

''Steven, Firstly, I would like to thank you for your amazing help in finding this wonderful villa and for your continued help during our stay. You are a fantastic agent. Thanks again. The property was amazing, beyond belief. Wonderful. The pool area is unbelievable and probably the most important part of the property. It is beautifully maintained, has a bathroom and a barbeque and table games (ping pong, pool, and fussball). The house is well equipped asw is the kitchen.

The location of the villa was great. The area of the house is mountainous with small villages all around yet it is just a 15 minute ride to the beach and to Polis. The views are fantastic and the quiet is a treat. The local owners were always available and are delightful people. We love being in Cyprus, especially in the area of Polis. This is our third trip as a family. The family has grown and our experiences will bring us back.

We are all fully satisfied with letsrentonline and would certainly be interested in booking through them in other countries should all of us or some of us consider such travel. We would certainly approve of sharing these comments with others on your website. I did not recommend specific restaurants or beaches. Go and explore the area. It is filled with wonderful places. ''Dear Steven, I‘d like to thank you, for your excellent support during booking and afterwards.

We enjoyed our stay at The Retreat Villa tremendously. The Villa is set in a beautiful Garden and offers everything you‘d wish for in a holiday. Even though we‘ve been there with two families, one could always find a place to sit quietly. Our children had a blast with the pool and games and we had many lovely hours at the BBQ.

Katrina, the owner, was ever so friendly and reacted on every wish or question immediately.
There is one smaller supermarket just down the road (5 min by car) and bigger ones in polis with everything you need.
We made a few trips, that were all nice (Boat-Trip to Blue Lagoon, Archeological Parc in Paphos...) but hands down best trip was to Avakas Gorge, where one can hike up a small riverbed with a following Lunch in Viklari Peyia Restaurant up on a hill with breathtaking views overlooking the sea und simple but very good food (booking highly recommended!).

''The Retreat was “first class” accommodation, well equipped and beautifully maintained with an excellent swimming pool. It has everything you need for a fantastic holiday. The location was idyllic with marvellous 360 degree views and surrounded by well stocked fruit orchards. Very private and not overlooked. We enjoyed a number of fantastic meals at the Pantelis near Skoulli. The owner, Paul, was very friendly and welcoming and the meals were very reasonably priced. The service, as always, from LetsRentOnline.Com was excellent. Always prompt to reply to any queries you may have, making the booking process quick and easy. Many thanks to Steven and his team. ''The property is beautiful, solid and well-maintained. It has something for everyone whatever the age.

Although it may seem that The Retreat is far from anything, it took us literally only 10 minutes by car to Polis & Latchi and about 40 minutes to Paphos. The beautiful thing about the villa location is the incredible peace and silence of the surroundings.

All the beaches along Latchi are great, some sandy, some rocky - plenty of choice. I took the kids for a short hike through the Akamas park, saw the Baths of Aphrodite and it is worth the the trail for the views. Also, Katerina, the owner, gave us a great address in Polis of a fishmonger - we barbecued freshly caught fish at home almost everyday at a fraction of restaurant prices - it is opposite the pharmacy on the Polis main road.

Also Byron's supermarket at the bottom of the road to the villa - really nice man, good place for basics, ice, charcoal, eggs, etc.

It was painless booking with letsrentonline.com. They were very straightforward, flexible, accommodating and swift to answer any queries. I liked the way they sent little updates before our holiday giving us discounts on various restaurants, car hire and watersports.

The owner we met, Katerina, was so helpful and friendly - came right over whenever we needed anything, brought us an extra air mattress for the kids, brought her son to help our kids set up the Xbox games...above the call of duty! She also has great advice on where to eat. Thank you again''


Both Peristerona and ‘Steni' village centres are just 1-2km away from 'The Retreat' and where you will find a taste of the 'Real Cyprus'. With their mini-markets selling fresh organic produce, coffee shops and restaurants/tavernas as well as the friendly locals, you won't have to travel far to get the most out of your holiday.

Slightly further afield, you will find further amenities such as larger supermarkets, pharmacy, petrol station, and the more extensive choice of bars, restaurants, shops etc in Polis (8km). The nearest beach is at Latchi (12km) which is well known as one of the best on the island. You can relax and sun-bathe on the golden sand by the crystal clear waters, sit in the marina and enjoy lunch eating the day's fresh catch or for the more adventurous there is a great choice of water sports available for all the family.
