Ideal getaway for two, charm, relaxation, culture and wine tourism.

On the road of the great wines of Burgundy, from Beaune to Cluny by vineyards, near Mercurey, Rully and Chagny. Greenway along the center of the channel. At the heart of the Côte Chalonnaise in Fontaines, many hiking trails. In a pleasant and quiet:

Pretty, relaxing cottage, in a nice small village, with lovely landlords

We spent a week in this cottage, it was wonderfully relaxing! It is located close to lots of nice places you can drive to, the village of Fontaines is small and very friendly (everyone says Hi as you walk past them), the landlords are friendly, helpful, and very welcoming. Lovely big garden to sit in. Would happily stay there again!

Lovely Stay

We had a lovely 3 night stay in Fontaines. Michele and Claude are very welcoming and informative. The property was lovely, very clean and had air conditioning, which was much appreciated. The garden was lovely to sit out in, with sunny and shady spots. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect Place to Relax

We had a very enjoyable 4 night stay in a very comfortable and well equipped house. Michele and Claude made us very welcome and were very informative about the area and the local wine. After visiting visiting the beautiful local area and very good wineries it was always good to come back to our accommodation and relax with a glass of wine! Thank you Michele and Claude and we hope to return soon.

Well up to standard

Property was as described in the online description. The only surprise was the lack of an oven but we soon adapted to the use of one pan and the microwave. Unfortunately the air conditioning failed during the hot four days in the middle of our stay but we coped. Loved the area and the surrounding towns.

Ein schönes Haus mit einer hervorragenden Ausstattung in Küche und Bad, einem großen Wohn-Essbereich und einem bequemen Bett. Wir haben viel auf der überdachten Terrasse vor dem Haus gesessen und uns an den Verkehr auf der daneben liegenden Weinstraße gewöhnt. Der Garten war im Sommer leider nicht mehr grün. Eine super Lage für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Locatie direct naast een drukke doorgaande weg. Daardoor slechts 2 sterren.Hygiene was niet goed genoeg. Koelkast stonk en was niet schoon. Door het hele huis spinnenrag met stof.Wifi functioneerde niet. Host niet aanwezig. Communicatie via app verliep uiterst moeizaam. Ten onrechte heeft host de schuld buiten zichzelf gelegd. Uiteindelijk Na 2/3 dagen is iemand op het terrein geweest waarna wifi wel functioneerde.

Gerne wieder !!!

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in dieser Unterkunft sehr genossen. Den großen Garten konnten wir leider gar nicht richtig erkunden, weil wir sehr viel unterwegs waren und auch das regnerische Wetter nicht zum benutzen des Gartens einlud. Von der Ferienwohnung aus konnten wir viele schöne Unternehmungen vornehmen (kulturelle Ausflüge, wandern, radfahren, ...). In der geräumigen, geschmackvoll eingerichteten Ferienwohnung haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Auch die vorhandene Heizung hat bei den herbstlichen Aussentemperaturen sehr schnell für angenehme Wärme gesorgt. Auch das Internet hat, nach anfänglichen kleinen Problemen (und der sehr engagierten, schnellen Hilfe der Vermieter) sehr schnell und stabil funktioniert, so dass wir die Aktivitäten für den nächsten Tag gut planen konnten. Wenn wir wieder in dieser Gegend Urlaub machen sollten, dann bestimmt wieder in dieser Ferienwohnung.

Dorfliche Atmosphäre aber zentrale Lage für touristische Erkundungen

Sehr freundliche & aufgeschlossene Gastgeber/in; geschmackvolle Einrichtung; alles was man brauchte war vorhanden; den großen Garten konnte man benutzen; in den Ort & in die unmittelbare Umgebung kann man zu Fuß gehen. Fontaines hat eine zentrale Lage um berühmte touristische Ziele , wie Beaune, Autun, Cluny zu erreichen.

Eine liebevoll und umsichtig eingerichtete Unterkunft in einem wunderbaren, einladenden Garten. Alles für einen komfortablen und erholsamen Aufenthalt! Heerlijk huis in prachtige omgeving

We zijn in totaal 4 weken in deze woning verbleven. De woning is erg netjes en van alle gemakken voorzien. In de nabije omgeving zijn veel leuke dorpen en aan de overkant van de straat kan je de prachtig bebosde heuvels bewandelen. De eigenaren zijn erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Séjour agréable

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans ce logement, très fonctionnel et propre, il est également bien situé pour rayonner et visiter les alentours de cette belle région. Bon contact avec la propriétaire qui s'est montrée disponible pour nous donner des conseils. Je recommande.

Häuschen mit grossem Garten

Das kleine Ferienhäuschen ist hübsch und liebevoll eingerichtet und der grosse, schöne Garten darf mitbenutzt werden! Die Gastgeber*in ist sehr sympathisch und hilfsbereit. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in kurzer Zeit erreichbar. Zum Kochen hat es nur 1 Induktionsherdplatte, dafür einen separaten Backofen. Leider wird die Strasse gleich hinter dem Häuschen in einem recht hohen Tempo befahren. Wir haben schöne Tage dort verbracht und den Wein der Umgebung genossen!
