Modernised holiday cottage located in quiet, scenic surroundings at Blokhus Strand. In 2014, the house had new floors, furniture and walls and ceilings brightened. Living room, separate kitchen, 3 bedrooms and bathroom with shower cubicle. One bedroom is separated by the hall by a door way. For cheap heating there is both wood-burning stove and heat pump. Personal and tasteful furnishings in the typical Danish cottage style. The living room is spacious and bright due to the window section facing south and west. Personal furniture with a sitting area and a dining area. From the living room you have direct access to the open terrace where you can relax in private on the 6000 m² large and secluded plot.A refundable deposit might be charged closer to your check-in date. The security deposit ensures a smooth stay and covers any additional services or consumption charges.This deposit covers utilities consumed during your stay and any additional services that may be taken.The final amount will be adjusted based on actual meter readings, actual usage of extra services, and any remaining balance will be refunded within 21 days after checkout.This deposit simply acts as a prepayment for charges that  you would anyways pay for, ensuring a seamless stay and check-out experience.

Die Lage war perfekt, umgeben von ruhiger natürlicher Schönheit, und nur eine kurze Fahrt zum atemberaubenden Blokhus Strand, Das Haus selbst war sehr geräumig und bot unserer Gruppe von sechs Personen ausreichend Platz, Jedes Schlafzimmer war gemütlich und gut ausgestattet, und der offene Wohnbereich machte es uns leicht, nach einem Tag der Erkundung gemeinsam zu entspannen, Besonders genossen haben wir den direkten Zugang zur Terrasse, wo wir abends grillten und die friedliche Umgebung genossen, Insgesamt ein fantastischer Rückzugsort!

Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy

Kalt, feucht, staubig und dunkel

Beim Öffnen der Haustür schlug einem direkt ein kalt-muffiger Geruch entgegen - das sollte sich den Rest des Aufenthaltes leider nicht ändern. Uns wurde von einem Service-Techniker empfohlen, die Wärmepumpe am besten den ganzen Tag laufen zu lassen - und das bei deutlich über 20 Grad Außentemperatur. Das machte sich natürlich auch bei den Stromkosten deutlich bemerkbar. Die beschriebene Fußbodenheizung funktionierte leider nur in der Küche, da benötigte man sie aber eher am wenigsten. Um abends nicht zu frieren griffen wir nicht auf die vorhandenen Wolldecken und Felle zurück, da diese total verstaubt waren, sondern zogen uns dickere Pullover an (Ende August!). Überhaupt war alles nicht wirklich sauber, das Geschirr klebrig, die Fensterbänke, Tische und Oberflächen mit einer deutlich sichtbaren Staubschicht bedeckt. Der Außenbereich wirkt sehr vernachlässigt, die Gartenmöbel sind ungepflegt und es gibt keine Sitzauflagen. Das Dach zieht Feuchtigkeit und seine hölzerne Unterseite ist teilweise schwarz vor Schimmel. Trotz strahlendem Sonnenschein mussten wir auch tagsüber Licht in den Räumen machen, da das Haus sehr dunkel ist (da täuschen die Online-Fotos ganz gewaltig). Allerdings ist die Auswahl an Lampen nicht groß. Das große Schlafzimmer (das wohl in späteren Jahren mal angebaut wurde) war allerdings ganz in Ordnung, der Boden war mit Laminat versehen und nicht mit altem Teppichboden, wie die vorderen zwei kleineren Schlafräume (von denen einer gar keine Tür hatte). Das Bett und die Matratzen waren ordentlich. Auch die Grundausstattung ist eigentlich nicht schlecht, Spül- und Waschmaschine und ein Trockner, ein Kaminofen (dessen Türdichtung allerdings kaputt war) und ein großer Fernseher mit deutschem Programm. Das WLAN ist allerdings stark gedrosselt, das reicht nur für einfachste Grundfunktionen, größere Websites brauchen sehr lange, um sich aufzubauen und Streaming kann man ganz vergessen. Eigentlich hat das Haus ein gewisses Potential, die Lage ist nicht schlecht - es müsste nur dringend etwas daran getan werden.
