21 Duck Pond Road is a tastefully appointed up-island home located within walking distance of beautiful Lambert's Cove Beach in West Tisbury. With its rustic finishes like wide-planked wood floors and a casual open-floor plan this house feels just like you expect a Vineyard home to feel. 21 Duck Pond Road boasts 1.3 acres set in preserved oak woodlands for a sense of supreme privacy and seclusion, yet it remains close to it all.

Inside this centrally air-conditioned home, the first floor features a large, sunny great room including well-equipped kitchen, large dining area and comfy living room. A WiFi equipped office, mudroom and half bath complete the first floor. Upstairs, a large master bedroom with king size bed is right across the hall from two other bedrooms, each with beds that sleep two, making the house ideal for families or friends vacationing together, up to six people. A spacious full bathroom completes the second floor. Laundry is available in the basement, but the house is appointed with clean linens and towels. Outside, enjoy the moss-covered fenced yard and outdoor shower, or grill on your private deck.

This house comes with everything you'll need for a relaxing Vineyard vacation: beach chairs and umbrella, charcoal grill, patio table, even a lobster pot for your very own clambake! Other amenities include SONOS wireless HiFi and two HD Flatscreen TVs with cable.

Summer bookings have a Saturday turnover. Please, no pets and no smoking.

We enjoyed our recent stay in this lovely property situated in West Tisbury. The neighborhood is quiet with plenty of shade and great for walking. The property owner provides a free walk-on pass to Lambert's Cove Beach which is a short 15 min walk away; you can also purchase a parking pass from the town of West Tisbury. We love the open floor plan of the first floor and the adjoining deck in the rear of the house. The 3 bedrooms on the second floor are nicely furnished and have comfortable beds. All of the amenities described in the listing-including bedding and towels--are as advertised.

Great House and Location

We had an exceptional week with our parents and two young daughters at this clean, comfortable, well-stocked home. The house had everything we needed, including cooking tools, linens, and beach gear. We enjoyed spending time on the deck, grilling, and using the outdoor shower. Location is perfect- very private, but just a short walk to beautiful Lambert's Cove beach!

Lovely Stay!

We had a great stay at 21 Duck Pond Road! The proximity to Lambert's Cove was perfect - we enjoyed several beach days and even a hop into Ice House Pond. The house was well stocked, clean, and spacious. We enjoyed our time immensely! The location is remote but easy to get into town. We mentioned several times that we didn't even feel like we were on MV in July because it was a quiet and peaceful stay.

Wonderful stay in Lambert’s Cove

This was our third year staying at this beautiful house. Well appointed, clean and cozy. Short walk or bike to Lambert’s cove beach, which is our favorite beach on the island. We love the open kitchen, office setup and the spacious master bedroom upstairs. Great spot!

Beautiful stay!

The house was absolutely perfect for our family of 4. Had everything we needed including pack and play, beach wagon/chairs/towels, high chair, and basic kitchen things. We could walk to the beach and ponds and the whole area is just beautiful to explore. We will be back!

Our favorite place to visit

Our family of 4 has stayed at this property for many repeat visits and it never disappoints! The home is located in a quiet neighborhood a short walk from the best beach on the island. It has a lovely Vineyard cottage decor/aesthetic inside and out and very well maintained. The property is stocked with everything we need for our stay and owner is always a pleasure to coordinate with. We love returning here each summer.

Great house!

We loved our two weeks at Robyn's house. I've been coming to the Vineyard for over ten years and this was one of the best houses we've stayed in. It was well-maintained, clean, full of gear, and a nice size for our group of six. The proximity to Lambert's Cove was terrific. We hope to be back soon!

Perfect Location

Home had excellent natural light, charming painted floors and wood beams and perfect location on the island. Walking in the neighborhood was like walking through the forest with beautiful mature trees and houses hidden mostly from view.

This home has been recently remodeled and is perfect. The owners obviously take pride in their property and it shows. Clean, comfortable, relaxing and private. We have rented a few places in the past and none compare to this one.

Amazing stay near Lamberts Cove

The property was perfectly setup to host our small family, including a child under 2. Robyn was most helpful and ensured we had every thing and answer we needed. Lovely house

This house is beautifully decorated in a simple but comfortable style. It is in a wooded area and you don’t see anything around you except nature. Lambert’s Cove, a gorgeous beach, is located minutes away. The homeowner was great to deal with. Highly recommend if you are looking for a serene spot on Martha’s Vineyard.

Wonderful family stay

We are a family of 4 (two young children) and we absolutely loved our stay here! The property is peaceful and serene, surrounded by lush vegetation. The house is well appointed with tasteful furnishings and plenty of beach towels. The open plan living on the main floor is great, so you can cook a meal and still be part of the action. A very comfortable and lovely place to stay! And Robyn is an excellent host! She is friendly, super responsive, and easy to communicate with. An A+ vacation spot!

Highly recommend!

I stayed at this lovely home twice last summer. First time was with my son and the second was for a girls' getaway. My son was with a friend and they enjoyed the fact that they could walk to the beach. I like how private it is, but it is also an easy drive to the towns. The house was clean, comfortable, and has everything you could need for your stay. The owner is friendly and quick to respond to any questions. I will definitely be going back!

Excellent stay

Just back from an awesome vacation staying at this wonderful house. We loved every minute of it and only wish we could have stayed longer. Even though we were there in the off season, the house was perfect. It is located in an ideal part of the island and is on a very quiet street, but is super close to so many things, including a wonderful beach, a couple of grocery stores, and is a short distance to several downtown areas with shopping and restaurants. The house is modern and has everything you need, including a full kitchen with a nice coffee maker (a must for us!) The host is very responsive and easy to communicate with. We had to reschedule our original trip because our first dates unfortunately coincided with a hurricane that shut down all ferry service, and Robyn was completely understanding and flexible in allowing us to reschedule. I would not hesitate to come back and stay here again! Thank you Robyn!

Lovely MV home. Something left to be desired.

Our family rented Duck Pond Drive for a week and had a wonderful time. The house is located in quiet area of west tisbury, away from the main towns and perfectly located near beautiful beaches and magical ponds. It was restful and nice. The bedrooms are basic but nice and the beds are very comfortable. A/C worked great and WiFi was good. What could be better: TV has very minimal channels. With our kids this meant no kids channels. I wish the TV allowed Netflix connection, as we would have no problem linking our account. This also meant no movie nights which would have been nice. The house had all the basics, but it’s clear this is a rental property, rather than a house the owners use themselves for part of summer. There was most of we needed, including boogy boards and beach chairs and umbrellas. But it lacked the feeling that “someone lives here” which I do like. I understand some people may prefer the neutral quality of a rental investment property, and that great. Lastly: we’ve used VRBO many times and this was the least communicative owner thus far. There were no major problems, granted, but when I emailed a few questions during our stay the owner didn’t response. And when I attempted to text the local keeper of the property there was no reply. I’m not sure what would have happened if we really did need to reach someone. Again this communicates to me the lack of personal touch that I typically enjoy in renting someone’s home.
