Chalet Cwtch, a cosy 5 bed holiday cottage in Roch, Pembrokeshire

This holiday cottage has recently been refurbished and is located on The Woodlands site, Roch (nr to Newgale and Nolton beaches). Set in a tranquil sheltered position it is ideal for couples or families, for a home away from home holiday

The chalet is surrounded by communal landscaped gardens (children bring your bikes and scooters, and feel free to borrow from our outside toys/game equipment)

It can easily accommodate a family with 2 good size bedrooms and open plan kitchen and lounge diner. There is allocated parking and great rural and woodland views.

ENTRANCE HALL – shoe storage /hooks for coats /shelves in airing cupboard
LOUNGE/DINER – Double aspect windows with view to communal gardens, corner sofa seating 5 comfortably, large dining table and 6 chairs, electric storage heater providing good heating, freeview TV/DVD/BluRay, IPOD dock, wide selection of games and jigsaws
KITCHEN – Open plan to living area, range of wall and base units with granite effect work surface, stainless steel sink and drainer with mixer tap, electric oven/grill/hob, fridge freezer, microwave.
BEDROOM 1 – Double bed with bedside cabinets, large built in wardrobe and drawers, window looking onto grassy area
BEDROOM 2 – Bunkbeds with trundle bed for a 3rd underneath, travel cot available, large built in wardrobe and drawers, unit with some toys and childrens books, window looking onto communal gardens
BATHROOM – bath, electric shower, WC, basin, wall hung electric fan heater, obscured glazed windows

Wonderful chalet close to a lot of impressive sites.

The chalet has everything you need. And is comfortable too. I admire the way everything fits in this small house with the feeling you have room for everything. You notice this especially when it is raining for most of the days during our stay. The owners give you a welcoming feeling, already before arriving and that is also nice. Within half an hour you can be in lots of interesting, impressive places. The chalet is very central in a quiet place. We simply enjoyed it!

Great location, perfect for a family with kids

We had a great time at the Chalet. This is part of a bit of a planned community which was almost deserted during our visit in October. We saw a few people walking dogs, but basically had the place to ourselves. We were handy to any number of activities, but the kids loved the rock pooling best! The chalet has room for 4 most comfortably, with two kids in the bunks. It is in a remote location, so having all of our food purchased before arrival worked well. We did need to make due with body wash for hand soap until the next trip to the store though, probably an oversight of the cleaning crew. The kitchen was well stocked and compact but easy to use. The best part were the kids games we were able to borrow to keep the kiddos happy in the evenings. The favorite was Charades! Thanks so much!!

Thank you for your review Anne glad you and the family had a wonderful holiday and managed to get down to the beach. Glad to hear the children had fun! Sorry about the soap, there was some additional in the bathroom and kitchen cupboards but we'll make sure the dispenser by the sinks are full up in future.

Lovely Cosy Chalet

A lovely cosy chalet. Immaculately clean and very comfortable beds. The kitchen very well equipped with utensils. A great location for exploring the Pembrokeshire coast, providing you have transport.
