Field House in full, in Prazeres, with PERMIT / LICENSE LOCATION ACCOMMODATION to paragraph 2.9 of 19/01/2009, is included in the Natural Park of Calheta, 50 meters from the main pedestrian routes (Taken / LEVADAS) Madeira Island , 5 minutes from the Paul da Serra (25 Sources and Rabaçal), 5 minutes from the sea (from the beaches of Calheta, Jardim do Mar and Paul do Mar), 30 minutes from the capital Funchal and 50 minutes from the airport in Santa Cruz In "House of Pipa" you can quietly enjoy time for yourself and your family. The Pleasures is a place that invites you to rest and leisure. The 'Casa da Pipa' has all the necessary comforts to make guests feel at home, take a stroll by a large expanse of untouched nature and natural landscapes that will keep forever in your memory. A perfect place to relax

We spent 6 wonderful days at Filipes house. From there we could easily reach various hiking spots and we enjoyed very much the evenings on the terrace behind the house.

Peaceful and comfortable stay

Peaceful location and walking distance from an assortment of coffee shops, restaurant and Farmers Market on Sundays. Great location to relax and explore the island and away from the busy Funchal area. Outdoor space is great for relaxing and bbq meals. Local grocery store is well stocked, and you will find larger grocery stores (Continente or Pingo Doce) easily on your travels throughout the island.

Great house to spend your holiday

+++Very nice house in a really quiet area, there is zero noise, you are at the edge of the forest. The village is strangely enough very well equipped in restaurants and other shops. A great spot to visit the entire island if you have a car, however if you're looking for busier lifestyle and you prefer being close to Funchal, this might not be the best choice for you, although it's only 40mins away. The house is well-equipped, you have a huge BBQ and a terrace as well. The self check-in is awesome and easy. We would highly recommend! ---The only negative feedback concerns the bed which is horribly uncomfortable and tiny for two (we are not giants).

Absolutely perfect house and location for Western Madeira

The house was perfectly equipped as we have never seen in Portugal before: It is only designed for 4 people but you get the feeling that many more are welcome when you see the space, the well equipped kitchen, the garden house, etc. There were even 2 bathrooms - one inside, one outside. We did not see our host Filipe in person, because there was an uncomplicated but safe self check-in and check-out. But we could easily call him when we had a question. He is a very generous host and trusts his guests. The heating is sufficient for warm sleeping rooms, but not for the living area where you can use a fireplace which we did not use. There are plenty of opportunities where to eat and rest - a regular table, a garden house, a conservatory or outside in the garden below a tree, or the balcony in front of the sleeping room. The garden is not maintained, but we enjoyed picking up some lemons. All comfort in the house is very functional and perfectly organized. The location is ideal: Very quiet, but with an easy connection to all places of Western Madeira within half an hour by car. And you can even see the see - from the balcony at the sleeping room. If we come again to Madeira, we would definitely stay in this house.

What a comfortable house for holidays!

Filipe is a capricious host, good in contact and careful with the house. The handing over of the keys was easy. The house is easy to find and to access by car. It is well located in a beautiful village, very calm and peaceful in the midst of gardens and beside the forest and the levadas. There is no direct view to the ocean (only around the corner ;-) The freeway is near to visit other places, and you don't hear the traffic. It's a small rustic house with everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped with dishes, good electrical devices, etc. The living room is comfortable with TV and fireplace where we felt homely in the evenings. We enjoyed the large place behind to spend rainy and cold days and for barbeque. What we did not appreciate: the beds. They are too short for 1,90m people, and the mattresses are hard. But anyway, we enjoyed our time here and we can recommend this place! Obrigado Filipe! Até a próxima 😊

The property was as described. Ideally placed for our requirements in that we planned to do various hiking routes.It was good to return to comfortable accommodation each day.The village has excellent facilities. We recommend the coffee shop by the church and Chico's restaurant.

Das Haus war sauber und gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist sehr schön. Die Küche ist ebenfalls gut ausgestattet. Negativ war:Es war sehr kalt und feucht in der Unterkunft. Der Vermieter hat vorher leider nicht gelüftet. Wir mussten mit der Klimaanlage das Haus heizen, was wir nicht gut finden. Die Kälte und Feuchtigkeit wurde von vorherigen Mietern auch schon bemängelt. Des weiteren funktioniert der Kamin im Garten Haus nicht. Der Abzug geht gar nicht. Achtung: Der Rauch geht fast nur in den Raum! Mein Hinweis darauf wurde seitens des Vermieters leider nicht ernst genommen. Da wir es wirklich als Sicherheitsrisiko betrachten, haben wir dies in die Bewertung mit aufgenommen. Die Adresse, die bei fewo direkt angegeben ist, führt nicht zum Haus. Die Schlüssel werden über einen Schlüsseltresor zur Verfügung gestellt, was sehr einfach ist. Wenn das Haus trocken und warm ist, ist es bestimmt angenehm.

Agradeço desde já o seu comentário. Infelizmente a ilha da Madeira é por vezes muito fria e húmida no inverno, é por isso que é muito verde, com muita água e com paisagens deslumbrantes. Pena que não goste de ar condicionado, pois e segundo outros hospedes é o melhor a ser usado, assim como nos quartos de todos os hotéis. Em relação á zona do churrasco, a chaminé funciona bem, eu uso muitas vezes em convívios e nunca tive reclamações de outros hospedes, é claro que é preciso saber fazer churrasco, principalmente usar lenha seca e fazer uma boa fogueira, o que parece não ter sido o caso. Eu não ignorei, eu acho que não devo ensinar como fazer churrasco, para além de que você deixou o fumo dentro da área do churrasco sem que tenha aberto todas as portas para poder arejar (não se preocupe, as zonas pretas que deixou, foram limpas nas medida do possível). A casa e o quarto de dormir são independentes do churrasco, como chegou fumo ao quarto de dormir? não me diga que deixou a janela do quarto de dormir aberta...Uma vez mais agradeço o seu contato e que de alguma forma tenha desfrutado da estadia. Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der Casa da Pipa sehr genossen. Für unseren Urlaub mit vielen Wanderungen und Ausflügen mit dem Auto war die Lage des Ferienhauses sehr gut. Für zwei Personen, die wie wir, gern getrennte Schlafzimmer haben, ist das Haus bestens geeignet. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter erfolgte problemlos über fewo-direkt.de. Check-In und Check-Out konnte dank Schlüsselsafe individuell erfolgen.

La maison était très froide et humide à notre arrivée. Nous ne recommandons pas cette location en période printemps. Pour l'été, elle serait agréable.L'absence du propriétaire était regrettable même si les communications téléphoniques étaient faciles.

Ruhe und Natur

Direkt an der Levada, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Dorf liegt etwas höher und ist im Februar etwas kühler. Im Haus gibt es einen gemütlichen Holzofen, eine Klimaanlage die heizen kann und eine Elektroheizung. Damit hat man es warm. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und die Betten sind gemütlich.

Alles ok, für uns zwei schön geräumig, für vier Erwachsene wärs wahrscheinlich etwas kuschelig. Schönes Nebengebäude zum Grillen und feiern. Kommunikation rein online hat funktioniert, hätte etwas mehr Holz für den Kaminofen da sein können. Schöne Wanderungen direkt von der Unterkunft möglich, gute Restaurants mit tollem Poncha in Fußnähe.

Schönes Haus mit großem Grundstück und Parkplatz. Alles da was für eine schönen Urlaub gebraucht wird. Gute Wandermöglichkeiten direkt ab dem Haus. Einziges Manko die Betten könnten ein bisschen breiter sein.

Super logement, calme et très bien placé

On a été agréable surpris par le confort et la propreté du logement à notre arrivée. Le logement est remarquablement bien placé à Madère pour faire des excursions sur l'île. Le logement est sur les hauteurs dans un environnement calme to.d'eucalyptus en suivant le lqveda et à dix minutes en voiture d'une belle plage en sable à Calheta. Les propriétaires ont toujours été disponibles. Nous conseillons fortement cette location.

Schöne Unterkunft

Es war alles ok. Der Kontakt mit dem Gastgeber lief prima ab. Das Haus war sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Es war etwas kühl und klamm, da wahrscheinlich in der Woche davor niemand da war. Mithilfe des guten Holz-Ofens haben wir das schnell in den Griff bekommen. Holz kann man im Dorfladen günstig für 3,- kaufen. Es war auch etwas im Haus. Die Lage im oberen Teil des Dorfes ist gut; leider kein Meerblick oder wenigstens etwas mehr Grün. Der Garten ist nicht bewirtschaftet. Die Betten sind wie meist in Ferienhäusern ziemlich hart gefedert.

Langzeiturlaub Prazeres

Bei Ankunft war das Haus ausgekühlt und auch ziemlich feucht. Das Wetter war anfangs sicherlich auch nicht optimal (starker Regen). Entsprechend haben wir längere Zeit gebraucht, um das Haus mit dem Kaminofen einigermaßen durchzuwärmen und zu trocknen (täglicher Holzkauf ca. 5,-€). Den Wintergarten haben wir lediglich als Abstellplatz genutzt, stellenweise hatte es durchgeregnet, der Grill war für uns nicht nutzbar, da er vom Vorgänger /Endreinigung nicht gesäubert war. Anmietung im Winter eher fragwürdig. Die Insel und Lage des Hauses haben uns aber schon gefallen.

Unfortunately, the air conditioning and hot air unit was not installed in time for your stay. At the moment the house has this facility for guests. It's a shame that during your stay you didn't get in touch with me, as I would have immediately arranged to see what had happened to the barbecue in terms of cleaning and water. I would like to take this opportunity to remind you that I have not yet received the amount for the extra days you requested, in addition to what was planned.

Lovely Stay

Sauber mit allem was man braucht vorhanden. Gute Ausgangslage sowohl für Wanderungen als auch Ausflüge. Wir, zwei Erwachsene und ein Kind, haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen (vor allem das Kind, das die Eidechsen im Garten gejagt hat)
